Spheres Gaian

Klem headed the group. Leading a foray into the caves she, Dani and Chance once found (and I think one or two others) and that Dani had declared would make a perfect home. Home or not, Klem stepped into the entrance, growing and shifting into Dire Wolf form to enhance her senses. "Kaydin has said she has been missing longer than I thought .. Our trail may be a bit weak. There is a tunnel ... " she says prior to shifting.. and starting to search her memories for the route. <<summon a spirit perhaps Fi? To guide us?>>

Fiona doesn't grumble at Klem as usual instead the usually sullen young woman begins to look through her bag for her things. "Cave yes? Need a bat then something the lack of light won't bother." She continues the pawing through her ritual bag as she preps.

Kaydin follows along, seeming to be somewhat happier to be out of light. "Rat is a good one, or bear." Kaydin suggests as he looks about. "I knew I shouldnt have let her come alone, should have kept her from coming down here."

Fiona has herself set up to try and call a bat spirit but Owen just...wow she has to say it, "Your Captian DigDug dude..." She eyes the glowsticks, "On ectasy to boot."

The tunnel system has change since the last time that Klem has been through this way. It is cleaner, both physically and spiritually, someone has been very busy. Even Kaydin might be familiar with some of the more shallow tunnels. But there's a problem. For the past half year this tunnel system has been marked up in directions that are confusing. Ending dead in some places. Marks of cleansing missing from others.

TimeStop starts to prep gifts from Gaia -- growing tougher, more resistant, and scarier. Claws sharpen against the stones of the wall, as she waits for the others to ready themselves for going deeper. <<need... to find direction. Can try tracking, maybe questing stone? maybe spirit?>> she growls out, offering ideas.

Owen Blanchard conceentrates as they get to the cave. The big man takes a few minutes getting himself centered it seems, and then rolls his shoulders eady to go no visual changes too the man, but his stance does change to a combat ready one.

Fiona leaves the warriors on their own and wanders off in to the forest after all when ones greatest combat skill is the ability to curse in two languages one is always ready for combat. She is gone almost half an hour and when she does return she has something very small cradled to her chest. Timestop might recognize the stupidly happy look on the girl's face which is of course not directed at any of them cause she isn't a people person. Instead the tiny winged rodent she is holding the recipient of all the girls affection at the moment as she chatters to it quite contentedly.

There is a stirring from the umbra, And then a tiny bat spirit manifests, drawn by the lure of gnosis and the call of the Theurge. It feeds on the spiritual energy as a living bat would feed on fruit. It seems relatively neutral in attitude at the moment, looking to Fiona for more.

Kaydin shakes his head. "The questing stone wont work here, every attempt failed or else I would gotten her myself." He says as he continues along.

TimeStop nods to Kaydin, and starts to sniff around. <<guessing cleansed paths are not where she is. which narrows down our choices?>>

Fiona is quite happy to share her essence with the Spirit offering it up little bits as she moves to rejoin the others. She doesn't speak to them as she gets back to where they are setting up and sniffing around. There is a small but steady trickle of gnosis being offered up.

Owen Blanchard looks to the group and says "It is probably cleansed up to where she disapeard. She seemed to methotical. I doubt she went down multiple places and came back and cleansed, probably made sure area cleat of badness, cleansed it, then moves on.

Kaydin nods. "She told me recently that there was a place with large obstacles, too big for her, she wanted me to come down. Told her to tell me when I would go. That was what we last talked about because we thought about taking the cubs down, teach them about what the gurahl do.

TimeStop ponders, sitting down. <<and dream. dream might have clue.>> she looks at

Owen and nods her head. <<she is methodical. not flighty>>

Owen Blanchard 's backpack moves a bit tothose who can see spirits, and a blackish furry shape moves up to Owen's er chirping a bit to him ans the big man nods . He starts off in the direction the little guy tells him to go.

The little spirit sets itself down on Fiona's shoulder, simply sittinmg there for now, almost as if expecting something from the woman as it snakcks on all the gnosis that the woman is feeding it.

Fiona scoops the bat up and cups it carefully in her palms as she speaks to it. <<We are looking for a bear who has gone missing in the caves. You can see and hear where we can not. Lead the big ones to her and there will be more for you before you return home.>> She opens her hands then so the bat can fly.

The little spirit starts to flap its wings and squeeks out in a high pitched tone something that those with the ability to hear spirits would sense. <Strange bear go deep. Dangerous there.> Though it does start to fly down one of the tunnels.

Owen Blanchard waits for the little one to lead the way instead of asking weasle, since it seems the young theurge has it covered. He jus tmoves to follow the little bat spirit. Trying not to wack his hed on to many stalatights

Fiona calls out at the comment of danger <<If you sense danger hide behind the big one with the helmet on he will protect you>> Yep thats right Owen is now the little spirits meat shield. Just like Klem is hers, "You'll protect it won't you Owen."

TimeStop follows the theurge and kaydin. Moving in front of Owen if the path is too narrow for side by side. Otherwise, she is on guard.. watching. She nods her head to the sassy packmate. She would guard the ritualist.

Owen Blanchard looks back "Sure, but I will give you and it the same advice, is something cuts me keep clear of my blood."

The bat leas them deeper and deeper, though the whole way is cleased to this point. It hesitates a bit once they arrive in a small cavern with five tunnels. <Place bad. Chaos cat always hungry.>

Kaydin looks to the tunnels and then to the others. "Do we split up or take each tunnel one by one?" He asks calmly.

Fiona tilts her head <Chaos Cat? Is that another spirit little one?>>

Owen Blanchard keeps the look out for things as they go. He does not know the language of spirits so he keeps his guard up.

The little thing flies in circles. <In and out of real the chaos cat is. Clever. Hungry.>

TimeStop shakes her head <<splitting up BAD. especially with our limited strengths. We need to .. avoid this chaos cat.. and find Dani's scent - can you track it yet Kaydin?>>

Well then dangerous is it she motions the little spirit back to her where its safer, "Becareful, there is somekind of creature hopping in and out of the umbra maybe. Somekind of cat, not sure where it is."

Owen Blanchard nods his head, and walks along forward. H is cautious aand looking for said cat to grab aold of it.

TimeStop stops. and her face wrinkles in concentration. <<know spirit. Clever trickster, speaks in rhymes. Reminds me of Alice in wonderland cat. Annoying thing. Wanted to eat it. But.. it is a good..but annoying animal>> she remembers vaguely the trip into here before.

TimeStop starts to move to the right most path muttering in garou, a serious of annoyed yips as she remembers the horrible and hard puzzles the smiling feline tortured the group with.

A disembodied voice fills the cavers, and even those who normally can't talk to spirits understands. "Oh you come again? But the queen is long dead. Vanquished many moons ago." A pair of eyes and ears along with a moth sporting sharp teeth and a cheshire smile appears above the middle path. "You remember the right path now do you?"

Kaydin nods as he watches the things appear. His fists clench. "We have better things to do then to play these games." He says as he pulls a string with a pointed rock and tries to focus to perform the rite.

Fiona is positive she is not stoned so this is real and she grins, "Holy Alice in wonderland Momabear." She waits for the bat spirit and gives it a place to hide under her hair if it wishes it. She cuts eyes over to Timestop "Your so not a cat person are you."

Owen Blanchard waits and watches quietly. He looks around the area silent n ot

TimeStop continues to the far right path, padding on <<curious cat come counsel, cause corruption causes chaos!>> she growls out.

The bat does land on the offered hiding spot, as it really doesn't enjoy the presence to the Cheshire.

"Amazingly angry alliterative attitude." The cat spirit says, eyeing TimeStop with the wide grin, the rest of its lanky body phasing into existance. "Don't lose yourself down the twisting path."

Owen Blanchard ponders grabbing the cat but doesn't he waits.

Fiona drops her hair and effectively hides her little friend from the cat she hopes. The byplay between Cat and Timestop does hold her attention and thinks this explains a lot.

<<lead on, losing is bad when we seek a lost one. Need help, not lazy linguistics!>> Klem continues on down the right path.. not stopping her trekking forward to banter with Cat.

"We seek someone close to me. If you do not know where a muscular woman is being held, then please let us go and find her." Kaydin says as he tries to go off with Klem.

The cat spirit twists its head until its looking at the others upside down. "She was delving deep, down into the darkness." It once again starts to fade out, "She chose the right path too."

Fiona tilts her head and slinks after Timestop and the others, "Right path is that direction or does it mean correct." She hops a step to get up behind Momma Klem, "Is it alway like that?"

TimeStop nods her head to Fi <<right path is direction. Last time the Cat directed us in the right direction too. It does no harm.. other than beat my brain!>> she complains, wondering how long the path will wind onward.

Fiona grins, "I like the cat already." She keeps close apparently annoying Klem without injuring her is a noble profession in the eyes of the little theurge.

The tunnle indeed does wind, and it is unlikely that questing stone would have ended up sending you down the right tunnel. More time passes during the long trip down. And up ahead should be the large carens where the wyrm boar died. Only there are tonnes of rocks blocking the path.

Owen Blanchard looks at the rocks blocking the paths, and looks around it to see if the tunnel looks solid above it.

Kaydin looks to the rocks and he growls as he shifts to crinos form and begins to try and look at the rocks to see which ones need to be lifted. he also hopes to try and catch the scent of a familiar bear woman.

The tunnel looks rather unstable, and some of the smaller ones are able to be moved by a crinos, but there are some there that are far too heavy to be lifted by one alone. As to the scent, it is around, everywhere through the tunnels, but faint at best.

TimeStop stands back guarding. Near the Cat. Grumbling, and sniffing the air.

Owen Blanchard helps move the smaller rocks getting a feel od the blockage, and trying to see how stable, and whre the load bearing parts are.

"Uh can't one of you just go umbral and come out on the other side of the cave in? I mean you could collapse the whole damn thing down on all of us or worse if she is on the other side her."

Kaydin just turns to the one who suggested going to the umbra and he nods as he looks to Owen. <Need mirror. I will go.> He says as he waits.

Owen Blanchard pulls out a pair of mirrored shades offering them to Kaydin "Go check, I will see what I can do."

Kaydin nods as he looks at the reflection of the shades before vanishing to the umbra, glancing about the place in the umbra. "DANI!" He bellows in the spirit world.

Hi-Fi says, "Can you to make a very small hole without bringing the whole pile down on us?" Fiona asks/"

Owen Blanchard looks back, and says "Trying to figure out which ones I can move and not bring the whole thing down on us. I could punch it or of the way possible, but it would just recave in." He hmms and looks near the top of the cave in. 8 foot of rock having fell down there is possible a cavity above he can get to instead of below, doubting the cav in coes up to the ground level so it might be able to get past that way

Owen Blanchard says, "It's sorta like a giant game of Jenga. Where is Sheldon when I need him."

Owen Blanchard starts moving the rocks slowly but caarefully. He has no other way right now, so works with what he can.

Fiona actually looks pained and smacks a hand to the side of her head lightly mind you she's not a masochist. "old memories may be the key the healer learns through death....those who delve are crushed the white fights black.... damnit, Kaydin help me here I told you about the dream."

Kaydin shifts back to human form and returns back to the real world. "No difference there as here." He says as he looks to Fiona. "Are we even sure the dream even means this? Could be something else." He says as he looks about.

Fiona looks like she might just kick Kaydin, "It led us here didn't it!?" The irish is rising as the girl tries to remember more chunks of the dream. "As past becomes present, strength waxes then wanes, the light fades to darkness that is the cost of victory."

Owen Blanchard listens half way to them. He keeps working every few rocks stpping back, and chooseing his next one carefully

The progress is slow. And there are rocks that it would take the entire group to move out of the way, others that Owen would have to reshape. Hopefully people brought a bit of water.

Fiona opens up her bag of theurgy goodness it contains half a dozen bottles of water from the cafe, branches, candles, a mirror, oddly enough a bent spoon with a blacked scoop which she tucks back down.

Hi-Fi looks over at Kaydin, "Ancient outcast guards the future pariah to all but few.... I think that is you Kaydin."

<by Gaia the scent is stronger with more debris removed-wait ancient? I am not that old.> He says as he turns in mid speak and then moves to the debris and gets an idea. "I wonder..." He mutters as he tries a gift

Once he gets going, Kaydin is able to tunnel through the rock rather easily. Luckly they didn't try to reshape all of the rock that was piled up, as there's about fifteen yards that he goes through before noticing something a little less rocky. A hand.

Owen Blanchard waits outside the tunnel, he aint tring to go through till the other man is done but ha has stopped movin rocks.

Mole taught Kaydin how to burrow to make use of the crinos' claws for something less destructive. Mole pitied the Metis and taught this gift freely to those who wished to learn and Kaydin did wish to become more useful outside of a weapon against the wyrm. Eventually he tunnels through the rock and when the hand is found, it just encourages the Metis to dig more, to try and retrieve the owner of the hand, more focused now.

Owen Blanchard can still hear digging so he waits leaning against the wall.

Hi-Fi tries to peer in to the hole but it's dark and even the big white hairy ass of kaydin is now lost in the shadows.

TimeStop patrols the edge, on guard for those that may head this way. She sniffs the air, on edge in this claustrophobic space.

Kaydin stops and yells out through the tunnel. "I found her!" He then tries to figure out how to get her unburied from the rock.

Owen Blanchard frowns a bit as he does not hear her making any noises and he having been missing for some time, sounds like the worse to the big man.

Fiona asks cause well it has to be asked, "Is she alive?"

"The arm is cold, and broken halfway between wrist and elbow!" He says as he tries to continue finding a way to get her out.

TimeStop stares at Fi and then at the hole where Kaydin's butt can be seen. <<a pulse?>>

Owen Blanchard shakes his head bit and moves to lean against the wall.

< I cannot do that...Damn it!> Kaydin says as looks about. < I could try and dig her out but it may destablize the tunnel. Be prepared if something happens.> He calls out.

TimeStop calls out <<wait. Call the spirits. Let us use the earth spirits to help strengthen the area. We should be able to as a group.>> Klem suggests peering into the hole. <<a minute or two more won't make a difference, and may save yours and her life>>

< I cant tell if she has a pulse but try and strengthen the earth please hurry!> He calls.

Owen Blanchard lets the Theurge guide this, she is the spirit type

Fiona looks over at Timestop, "I'll need to take from the totem if you want me to try for another spirit."

TimeStop nods her head <<take as you need, I will feed totem as you do>>

TimeStop leans into the hole, <<we are trying. Soon as we have your tunnel secure, we will start REALLY moving stuff>> And she shifts to Crinos, making her a monster of monsters .. she-hulk-mama ready to stoptime in her speed and haul away rocks.

Fiona is beginning to look a little ragged around the edges and she stays sitting on the ground after her attempt at summoning more help. There is a slight frown on her face as if she isn't really sure it worked or maybe worried about what might be coming.

As Fiona gets through the ritual, once again the umbra opens and out emerges a rather irate earth elemental, that being the nearest earth spirit to the call. It gravels out in a gravely spirit voice. <Why have you brought me here?> Even with the gnosis fed, it is still slightly annoyed, albiet responsive.

Owen Blanchard looks down and says "Come out and let me get in there K, I will make the roc solid as I move it away from her.

Owen Blanchard stops at the elemental gets here

Klem pauses, long enough to feed their totem some of her gnosis, in a way - feeding Fi back for the energies. She stops, and stares at the Elemental <<We are not as strong and mighty as you.We are trying to do the work of our totem - to help the defenseless. We need you to support the tunnel where we have found her, and in exchange I will feed you my energies>> She speaks in garou, not knowing spirit tongue except through their totem.

Fiona looks up the first hint of dark circles forming under the teenagers eyes. <Thank you for coming brother earth, there is one of Gaia's choosen trapped under the rocks. We are afraid to move her for fear of crushing what life might remain. I ask you hold the earth at bay so we may bring her to safety. I will offer you a service for your help if you wish.>

Kaydin emerges from the tunnel. < I worry for the tunnel, Mole taught me how to dig, but not how to make the tunnels completely secure.> He says as he emerges to see the earth spirit. He hears the others and when they offer the service he looks to the earth spirit. <If any would owe this spirit service it would be me, since it is my beloved trapped. I beg of you.> He says as he kneels before the earth spirit.

Owen Blanchard keeps quiet. The big man does not go all beging. Instead he bows his head once to the spirit, but just stands there. He leans against the wall waiting.

The spirit considers this this for a few moments, Then turns towards the crinos sized tunnel. If the things had hands it would be touching the entrance. On closer observation it would seem like the wall was becoming more smooth, the cracks filling in. Even some of the rocks outside the tunnel that are colse by seem to be fusing.

PT.2

To recap, Kaydin had found an easier way to get through the pile of rubble, burrowing until he found Dani's broken arm trapped under one of the many rocks. Rather than risk collapse, they decided to have Fiona summon another spirit, an earth elemental this time. Rather annoyed at being called, but the gnosis, and promises of favors from not just one, but two garou set it into action, stabilizing the walls of the crinos sized tunnel.

As the walls begin to become stablized, Kaydin tries to dig more, to free the woman from the rockslide she is under. Hopefully he doesnt cut into her in his attempt to get her, concentration seen on his crinos form face.

Owen Blanchard waits knowing there is no room for him to get in there. He pulls his rope off in case it is needed

Fiona rests quietly gathering her reserves in case the woman lives and is in need of immediate healing. She listens to the sound of the digging as Kaydin burrows in to the rock.

Klem starts to lift fresh stones away, those that are not now sealed for structural integrity. "ok.. lets get her out of there. Kaydin - let fi try some healing on her while we are digging. Lets make a side tunnel here -- and here" she points, "it will help us root her out. Go on.. go forit!"

Fiona waits quietly for Owen and Klem to be busy with the rocks and hence unable to really stop her as she grabs her satchel and slips in to the tunnel behind the Crinos. She is literally half the beasts size and finds it much easier to move after the large white body. She can not help him dig but once she finds the missing woman's arm she clasps her own around it feeling for a pulse.

Kaydin continues to dig carefully. He takes a calm breath as a claw comes close to the arm and begins to dig more carefully, claws seeming to be able to dig through the solid rock as he tries to dig the woman out carefully.

Owen Blanchard is patient, He knows there are times, yu must wait to act.

Klem is still directing, and doing heavy lifting. Letting Kaydin tunnel the next hole.

It doesn't take long for Kaydin to break through, and it looks like the rock had settled here as if it had fallen on something much larger that had shrunk. The woman isn't crushed, but it looks like the wounds are pretty severe, and there was no room to shift into a form that could heal. For the first few moments it doesn't seem like there is any breathing.

But after about twenty seconds there is a very shallow inhale of breath. Seems she put herself into a heavy hibernation. Almost no breathing. Almost no pulse.

<Gurahl can put themselves into hibernation, to sleep away injuries.> Kaydin says as he then shifts to homid form as soon as the woman was dug out, moving to cradle and hold her, red eyes studying her intensely as if trying to figure out what to do.

Once Kaydin shifts down Fiona moves up next to the injured woman relieved to see she is breathing. "Kaydin, i'm going to try to heal her. I don't know if it will wake her up or not. If it does you may have to grab her if the last thing she remembers is the cave collapsing on her...okay?"

Klem has fed the totem, so there is gnosis for Fi to use in this healing if needed

Kaydin nods. "Alright." Kaydin says as he holds the woman securely and close to him. "I have you Dani." He whispers to her, to try and let her know.

Not knowing where is safe to touch with the woman's crushing injuries Fiona takes a hand and closes her eyes. She mumurs something in Gaelic as she concentrates on the process of healing.

Klem stands back and stares intently. He part is done. Super boss she is.

For a moment there is nothing, then some of the more major wound start to heal. She may have a few new scars to add to the score of them that cris-crossed her form before. All of a sudden her eyes pop open and Dani takes a deep breath, and in a moment of panic tries to move her arm, not realising that it is still broken. The pain filled scream echoes down the burrow and the tunnel it is attached to.

Owen Blanchard winces and is glade he aint in the smaller tunnel.

Kaydin holds her close to him and kisses her cheek. "Dani we found you." He says as he tries to hold her securely so she could be healed without causing too much pain.

Fiona rocks back, "Can we go I can set her arm when you get her out of here I think i'm getting claustrophobia." Its true the redhead is contantly looking up at the ceiling and the walls like she expects the place to come down any moment. "Just be careful with her kay?"

Klem nods her head "send the elemental home .. and lets get ourselves home too. Kaydin - I have a space you and her can use until she is healed up. If you want. A nice apartment of sorts.

The burrow is sturdy, in fact if the rest of the tunnels collapsed, the small reinforced tunnel would be likely to survive. The injured woman stirs slightly, still weak. She may have the ability to nearly suspend all her vital functions, but three weeks drifing in and out, no water and breathing nothing but dust and stale air takes its toll. Dani opens her mouth slowly to speak but nothing comes out. A few tears streak down her dirty face.

Kaydin keeps her close and begins to carry her out gently. He comes out and looks to the others. "Lets get out of here and treat her." He says as he looks to Klem, waiting to see if she agreed.

Fi is a git at times and it doesn't dawn on her until she starts down the tunnel just how long Dani has been underground. She digs a bottle of water out of her bag and hands it Kaydin, food alas is not something she carries and tictacs aren't really nurishment. She scampers out of the tunnel and as asked sends the elemental off. She seems much more reluctant to send the little bat away but she does and as promised its with a little more gnosis.

Owen Blanchard moves to pic her up to carry Dani." He looks to Kydin and says "I am closer to her size, you just be there for her, I am the fork lift.

Kaydin nods as Owen picks up the woman and he follows along, watching her closely.

The bat doesn't take off that quickly, after all, they still have to pass back through that nasty cat spirit's tunnel. The elemental does dissipate but not before reminding the theurge that both she and Kaydin owe a debt. At this point, Dani is still fading in and out as her system readjusts to being mor eor less fully living again.

Klem gets to where she can get cell service, and starts to orderpeople around. Cause she is good at that. Food, supplies, and everything Kaydin and Dani will need are being sent to the apartment. "Glad we didn't take the motorcycles. huh?" she growls, striding forward in front of forklift and Kaydin..

Owen Blanchard carries Dani like the woman does not way anything The big man cradeling her easy.

Fiona follows behind and gives Kaydin's arm a squeeze, "She'll be fine she is one tough lady."

Dani may be tough enough to have survived down there, but right now it doesn't look like she could walk on her own. She cradles her broken arm in a way that will cause the least amount of pain during the trip, but it's clear that she is in much pain.

Owen Blanchard carries her as gently as he can and as he does he tries to help her heal as well. A little black long rodent, weasle moving to sniff at her some.
