It's another lazy Sunday afternoon at the Fashion Valley Mall. People who work nine-to-five jobs and go to church in the morning - which is a lot of them - are out in force, parents shopping for clothes and home appliances while teenagers and college students gravitate toward the food court. There's Jesse and his latest girl over there, sitting at a table near the pizza-by-the-slice booth and reaching slices out across the table to feed one another. (Somewhere else in the building, someone is spontaneously developing a brand new case of diabetes for no apparent reason.)

Jennifer has stopped by the food court in the mall after a minor adventure.. Having now missed lunch she looks over the various vendors and starts trying to decide what looks nice. Jesse and his girl don't seem to stand out to her anymore than anyone else at the moment but pizza-by the slice sounds tempting, so she approaches the counter.

Just another patron within the mall, Velok wanders down the mainway. His hands are both occupied clutching several bags from various different department stores, including (of course) Bed Bath and Beyond. Beyond where? Who knows. "Hmmm." The man says as he stops by Victoria's Secret. "No, no bad. Bad Velok." He comments, continuing on. His path leads him towards the food court where he can find an empty table somewhere near Jesse and his latest girl, plopping down the bags on the table. When they're all carefully stacked up against each other, he sits down against the chair and starts surveying his options for unhealthy food. Blue eyes linger only momentarily on Jesse/Girl while he assesses the nearby peoples.

Kirsten behaves herself in the mall, or at least as much as is possible given her general exuberance. But, she does walk on the ground, with her feet, stays off the benches, railings and other generally non-walkway areas. She does skip, though. And, given her size and demeanor, is probably dismissed as a young teen, at the oldest.

And for a moment, it seems like people are going to just come and go and have a nice quiet day. The moment doesn't last long, though. Another girl - a tall willowy blonde, as opposed to Pizza Girl who is brunette and of medium height - looks over, spots Jesse and beelines in his direction. "Oh. My. /God/," she declares, "I have been looking for you for like an /hour/. Where have you been all day? Is this like your sister or what?" The brunette glances up, expression darkening at the mention of 'sister'.

Jennifer blinks at the interaction, but for now seems more concerned with properly paying for her pizza slice. Taking a supreme slice she turns, watching the soap opera as she takes a bite, chewing slowly with wide green eyes. On the one hand.. this seems interesting and also still, blessedly normal compared to some of the things she's seen in Prospect.

Once Velok is done taking a look around the scene, he goes back to his own table. Bags are opened and fished through and the man brings out a scribbled notepad from his pocket, flipping it open. "Lotions..." bag is opened and confirmed. "Check." This is repeated several times as Velok marks off things from his list. The dull murmer of the various mall noises do little to prevent Velok from hearing Jesse get berated. His eyes look up and he stares off towards Jesse's table. Brunette, Jesse, Blonde. The reaction to 'sister' is all Velok needs. Experience draws a grim look upon the Brit's face. "You're gonna get slapped Jesse." He whispers quietly to himself, relaying the commentary within his mind. He rises, heading towards the nearby chinese place every mall has and standing in line, leaving his collected bags at the table.

Kirsten continues to skip her way towards the food court, and spots the scene in progress. She also spots the unattended bags, and their owner heading towards a line for food. She makes her way towards a food line herself, but makes sure that her path goes by those bags. Once in line, she discovers she's supposed to fill out what she wants on a bag with a red crayon, and she grins happily as she fills out her order.

Oh, Jesse may well get slapped at some point this afternoon, but not just yet. The brunette (Lisa, not that anyone's named any names out loud yet) rises to her feet and gets up in the blonde's (Sarah) face. "Sister? Who are you calling /sister/? We're in /love/, what, you think you can steal him from me?" Judging by the look on Sarah's face, that's exactly what she thinks.

Jennifer finds a seat and continues eating her pizza, just watching for now. She glances around the mall, checking for security guards if it turns violent, but right now she suspects the only issue is a possible cat fight and some drama.. It's like watching Jerry Springer.

Velok slides down the line and collects his teriyaki-rice bowl, nodding politely and paying for the meal. He turns, heading back towards his table with bags and resuming his seat. Openly the man turns his chair so that he can raise one leg, resting it on the other and watching the dramatic turning. "Alright, Phil. You win. It is fun to watch." He says, once again talking to himself as he looks towards Jesse, Sarah, and Lisa, not bothering to check the bags.

Kirsten gets to the front of the line, hands over the bag, pays for the order, and moves on down, to wait for the custom made sandwich. She does turn to pay some attention to the potential drama, but mostly ... she's looking just about everywhere else.

Right before Sarah can haul off and slap Lisa in the face, though - verbally or physically or otherwise - Jesse raises his hands in the air, palms outward in a standard defensive posture. "Hey, hey, I'm sure this is all a big misunderstanding, right?" His expression is one part nervous to two parts shit-eating grin.

Jennifer dabs her lip thoughtfully from the grease on the pizza and then seems to concentrate on Jesse, her thin brow furrowing just slightly as she stares at him. She smirks a little and shakes her head, continuing to eat.

Velok is the outright portrayal of 'Dis gon be gud'. He has two chopsticks carefully balanced within his fingers, prodding at his meal. A little chunk of rice is brought up and nommed, then he chews and stares. Slowly he starts shaking his head. "They're a whole lot smarter than you, Jesse." He comments again, though he's getting a little more concerned, either for Jesse or the two girls.

Kirsten doesn't seem to care enough about what is happening with Jesse and his girls, as she waits for her sandwich, and checks out the others in the area. She turns to the counter as someone there calls out to her - at least twice - then she takes her bagged sandwich. She smiles in anticipation as she skips away from the kiosk.

"Misunderstanding?" Sarah echoes, hands on hips as he glances between Lisa and Jesse, as if working out which one she should be madder at. "Was it a /misunderstanding/ when we--" It gets harder to follow along with whatever story she tells, though, because Lisa picks that moment to start talking again at the same time, the two of them tending to drown each other out.

Jennifer's brow wrinkles and she shakes her head again.. what is with the tingles... She keeps eating as it devolves to a screaming fest and again she checks for the security guards fully expecting them to come along to settle things down.

Velok stretches out within the chair, letting his eyes wander around the eating area. As awkwardly familiar as the situation is to Velok, he doesn't exactly want to spy too much. His gaze wanders along the food court, falling on Jennifer. Now he's certainly staring towards the redhead, having sensed and pinpointed certain something's. He raises his hand and politely waves towards the woman, eyes looking to Jesse, then to Jennifer, and he nods. Arm falls back down and he resumes eating. The brief respite is done, and he's returned to staring at Jesse, a bit harder now than he was before.

Kirsten seems to be heading towards Jesse, her little skip-step bringing her closer. She seems to have gotten over whatever disinterest she had before, and is trying to get a closer look. Or maybe a little bit more than that.

While the girls argue, Jesse wisely stays out of it - that may well be the first wise thing he's done all day today - grabbing a couple paper napkins to wipe the lingering pizza grease off his fingers. "Ah, listen, I gotta hit the bathroom, I'll be right back, okay?"

Jennifer notices Velok's handwaive, and then she notices Him.. her eyes widen and she looks VERY uncomfortable, looking down at her almost eaten pizza slice she seems to have lost her appetite as she sets it down, and stops watching the group altogether for a moment.. glancing almost worriedly up at Velok and then down again at the pizza. She seems to miss Jesse backing away from the girls because of her concern with Velok.

Velok's eyes snap towards Kirsten as she starts to get closer. He's not entirely sure what will happen there, but it's risking an already volatile situation, and now Jesse is leaving? Velok sets down the bowl on the table, turning his chair back and repositioning it so he can watch the table and the restroom now. Jesse has drawn a considerable interest from the man after this fight. He doesn't look all that scary, but he spots Jennifer's discomfort and it draws a furrow along his brow. "Huh." He says, reaching up and checking his hair is good, he's not dripping flesh off his face or some other horrible malady that would make people scared. So far so good. He glances back to Jennifer for a lingering moment then looks away so she can recompose herself.

Kirsten does follow Jesse. It's kinda like she's being drawn to him. And the fact that he's going away from those other girls? Bonus. So, she's still got that little skip step, and she's got a bag of sandwich tucked into the crook of her arm, as she heads in the same direction as Jesse is going.

And, that whole bathroom break thing? Blatant lies. And Jesse is drawn to Kirsten too, it's like they're a pair of magnets. "Hey, girl! Where you goin'?" he asks, helping himself to an armful of the petite Asian girl's waist if she lets him.

Jennifer snaps her head up, seeing Jesse grab ANOTHER girl.. This just stepped a bit beyond philandering.. her brow furrows a bit more.. He's just openly harassing women? While two others nearly come to blows.. He's not an idiot.. he's an asshole.

Jesse's phone begins to ring in his pocket.

Kirsten looks up at Jesse, bright green eyes wide on his face. And the arm he loops around her waist? Totally fine. She loops her own arm, the one that isn't full of bagged sandwich, around his waist. She doesn't even know the guy, but she does seem to be drawn to him. "Wherever it is you're going," she tells him. Oh, wait. Not his waist, she's tucking her hand in his back pocket, really quite familiar, for someone she doesn't even know.

Velok is sitting at the food court, near the pair of women that Jesse just recently left. His eyes are following the man, even as he manages to scoop up yet another woman towards him. He has several bags on the table and a notepad setting down. He's keeping an eye on things, but otherwise tending to his own business. As much of a pimp as Jesse is, he can't necessarily fault the man at the moment. Apparently, he's got game.

Misa bounces towards a smoothy shop, taking advantage of the fact everyone else is busy watching the catfight to get her damn drink. Hot in here. Besides the fun stuff hasn't started yet, and she seriously doesn't want to go without a drink while watching the hair pulling.

Corbin steps out of a tailor's shop, a ticket in hand, apparently having just scheduled a fitting. He returns the ticket to his pocket before passing by Misa on her way to the shop, offering a wave with his fingertips.

Kirsten pulls out the ringing phone, teasing Jesse with it, making it look like she's going to answer it for him. Given that there's two girls over there a ways, apparently fighting over him, it won't be either of them. But, who knows how many other girls he has strung along.

It's at about this point that Sarah and Lisa realize that the object of their argument (a) took off, (b) didn't actually take off, and (c) is canoodling with some /other/ pretty young thing. As one, they turn and start stalking toward him and Kirsten, one thought clearly written all over their faces: who the hell are /you/, and what the hell are you doing with /our/ man?

Jennifer jerks her head, gawking as Kirsten just slides right into Jesse's arms. Something doesn't look right.. No not with the two girls still yelling at each other.. something looks wrong. She looks over at Velok though.. then at Jesse... then at Velok.. then at Jesse, then biting her lower lip she looks at the girls as they turn their attention on Jesse and the new girl, her thin brow knitting even as she glances to make sure Jesse isn't getting completely out of sight. Her mostly eaten pizza is on a napkin in front of her chair, forgotten.

Misa skips towards the scene now that she has a drink, oh the girls are on the move awesome! She watches for a momnt and decides she literally has nothing better to do tonight and apporaches from another angle. She walks towards Jesse and pulls the lid off of her smoothie. This is totally going to be worth it.

Velok inhales sharply, apparently returning to the world of not counting and sorting through his bags. He takes several more looks around, reaquires Jess, then spots the other asian that has joined them. "Oh shit...Misa..." He comments, albeit quietly, then pushes away from his chair and rises up to stand. He surveys all the different people, but once more he finds his eyes staring towards Jennifer. The way she's looking at him, he's rather uncomfortable, shifting slightly from foot to foot. He takes one more look towards Jesse and his numerous girls, and then walks over towards Jennifer's table. "Hi! Have we met? I saw you looking at me earlier and it looked like you just saw a monster." He asks outright, stopping at an appropriate distance.

Kirsten doesn't seem to notice the other people, she's only got eyes for Jesse. She gives him a dazzling smile, batting her eyes at him. The phone doesn't get answered, nor does it get handed over to him. She just sort of makes it disappear.

Well, the girls will just make /certain/ that Kirsten notices them, then! Without further preamble, Lisa takes a swing at Kirsten with a fist, while Sarah moves over to try to knee Jesse in the groin.

Well, /that/ was a bust. Not only does Lisa miss, but Sarah slips on some spilled Dr Pepper and falls down on her ass, wincing and rolling over to one side. Maybe Jesse saw this coming, and decided to trade up?

Misa notices Kirsten's move even in the middle of the fray and smiles for just a moment, before all traces of amusement flee from her face. Her nostrils flare, eyes go wide, her lips draw back to expose her teeth even as she flings the smoothie in his face. "And who the hell are THEY?!"

Kirsten is distracted by the girls. Oh, when did they show up? One of them waves a fist in her face which she laughs at, and the other goes falling on her ass. This is something that Kirsten would otherwise not laugh at, but she does now, loud and long. "Oh, babe," she tells Jesse, "Where did you find *them*?" She blinks at Misa and the smoothie tossing move, not sure if she's another one of 'them', or if she's being defended.

Jennifer is already rising from her seat when Velok approaches her. She jumps nearly out of her skin and does in fact look at Velok like he will do... SOMETHING, but as her eyes go back to the group, she bites her lips and tries saying something to him.. It's hurried so not quite a whisper but it's definitely not a yell in the food court, "Something's wrong.. the girls' minds.. they've been.. something has.. it's like a switch is flipped.." She does NOT look confident so much as slightly desparate. She moves quickly after the girls but seems less concerned with them, than with Kirsten.. She wants to pull the girl away from Jesse. She doesn't know what it is.. but something's wrong.. Again, she looks back at Velok, checking to see if he'll do anything.. She KNOWS he knows.. but despite her fear her eyes turn towards Jesse.

Corbin, for his part, is quite amused by the ongoing proceedings, and proceeds to chuckle lowly as Misa joins the fray. He simply crosses his arms and leans against a nearby pillar, enjoying the carnage.

Well, that's usually enough to get Velok involved, even if Jennifer is acting super weird. "The girl's..minds..." He repeats in that same quiet. It's a rather odd mutual understanding. I know you know, you know I know, so let's fix this. He turns, walking after Jennifer at a brisk pace, coming up on the kerfuffle. He doesn't look desperate, instead maintaining that confidence and happy charm. When he gets closer, his voice is raised. "How we all doing today!" He greets, including himself into the action and dropping the imaginary popcorn. His blue eyes find Misa and he motions his head very gently towards Jesse, nodding to Misa. He steps up closer, putting himself fairly close to Jesse. "Hey, why don't we go back to the table? I'll buy everyone a slice of pizza."

When Misa throws the drink in his face, Jesse finally lets go of Kirsten's waist and takes a step back, rubbing at his eyes as he tries to clear his vision. "The hell was /that/ for? Who are you?" He squints and tries to spot the nearest place he can grab some napkins. Maybe he really will head to the bathroom, now, or just go home.

Misa catches on quickly something is going on when Velok of all people gets involved in STOPPING a cat fight. Misa quickly offers a hand to help the girl on her butt get up, then double steps to take up a position, if possible, one can't look at her, Velok, or Kirsten without losing sight of the other two. Professional courtesy and all. The anger vanishes instantly from her face, replaced by shame and mortified embarrassment. "I am SO sorry honey, I thought you were my cheatin boyfriend! I'm so sorry... look let me help clean ya up at least..."

Ahhhh, the mall! Where most manner of distractions can be found. Retail therapy, fast food cravings, people watching. Ariel makes his way through the edifice, browsing the kiosks en route to the food court.

Kirsten pouts as Jesse lets go of her, looking around at the others around. Pissed girls, one on the ground. Girl with an empty smoothie cup. Big tall guy, offering pizza. Red head girl hovering near tall guy. Others, but further out. And now smoothie girl wants to butt in?

Jennifer shifts her gaze from Jesse to Velok. Then grabbing at Kirsten she tries to pull her away from the angry girls and especially Jessie. She looks worriedly at Misa who seems intent on helping Jesse clean up.

Corbin quirks a brow as his cell chirps. He retrieves it from his pocket, glancing at it for a moment. Apparently less interested now that the fighting has ceased, he lazily strolls towards the door.

The worst of their anger having crested and fallen, Lisa reaches down to offer Sarah a hand back up, before they launch right back into Motor Mouth Mode, this time addressing Velok and Misa in some order. "Well, he /is/ my boyfriend!" "Shut the hell up, he's /my/ boyfriend!" "Not any more, he was running off with /this/ skank!" A hand is waved, no, flounced in the direction of Kirsten, horrible homewrecker that she is. "And he probably can't even get it up!"

Kirsten gets indignant when Jennifer grabs her. "What are you doing!?" she shouts, trying to pull away. Then Lisa and Sarah are calling her names and she turns on them to growl, "And whose fault is that?" Totally not her at all, but no one else would know that.

Velok is looking between Jesse and Misa when he tilts his head, suddenly turning and staring towards Jennifer. "Yea.." he says quietly, just nodding his head to the redhead and letting his smile grow. "Jesse, right?" He asks, looking to the man, then down towards the two girls. "Lisa, and Sarah." He folds his hands behind his back, nodding to them, then over towards the food court. He lets the pair berate him with their stories before he nods. "I don't think any of us wants to deal with the Mall cops today, on their adorable scooters, so why don't we go back to a table, everyone can sit down, and we can figure things out? Then I promise everyone will get their fair shot at throwing smoothies in Jesse's face, but only after Jesse has gotten to say his side of the story." Despite his words, he's giving a rather pointed glimpse towards Misa, then looking Kirsten over.

Ariel is distracted from the kiosks by the commotion over in the direction of the food court. Its then that his eye is caught by the Orange Julius signage. Looks like its time to cool off with an Orange Julius! The man begins to slowly make his way over in that direction, though he'll do his best to stay outside of the immediate zone of drama. Oh hey! Its magic time in the park guy! He'd offer a nod of greeting towards Velok, but it looks like he has his hands full.

Jennifer is addressing the indignant Kirsten, "Something weird's going on.. you should calm down.. Don't worry, it's all going to be ok..." she says trying to sound soothing, but she's still rather frazzled herself.. what happened to normal!?!

Misa thankfully having BEEN a teenage hyperactive girl, Misa speaks teenage hyperactive girl. She nods quickly to both girls looking back and forth between them both still looking really sorry about her part in this. "'kay." she replies pretty quickly. "I messed up thinkin he was someone else maybe we're all kinda mistaken on things lessal go somewhere... not where mall cops'er gona be."

"What do you mean, my side of the story?" says Jesse, who stalks over to an open table nearby and proceeds to share exactly that. "Look, yeah, I asked you out, and I asked /you/ out. At different times, okay?" Maybe not /that/ different, but hey, he's operating on Man Logic here. It's not going to make all that much sense. "I didn't say nothing about being /exclusive/ with nobody." Except you, Kirsten. He's still watching Kirsten, now that he can actually see again.

Kirsten is not really soothed by the frazzled Jennifer. Who could possibly be soothed by that? She does look back to Jesse though, studying him for a long moment, then over to the girls that the smoothie-girl is talking to, and Jesse has admitted to asking each out. She gives him a little frown, as her attention is returned to him.

Velok nods back towards Ariel with the polite greeting, but then returns back to what he was doing. He follows the grouping towards the table, taking into step near Misa. "Never thought this particular brand of life experience would ever come up..." The man comments quietly to Misa, then smiles towards Jennifer. He motions his head from Jennifer to Jesse, reaching up and tapping at his head with two fingers. He does indeed go, ordering and paying for a whole pizza to be delivered to the table, then returns to take a seat and look towards the two girls. "Well it seems to me that both of them think they're your girlfriend."

Kirsten is Jesse's girl! Right? She thinks she is, he was walking with her, arm wrapped around her waist and everything. She stares at him for a moment longer, a little bit of confusion starting to show.

Jennifer looks a little confused.. What does that mean?... she could try to find out, but.. Shaking her head she returns her attention to Kirsten "Just.. have a seat..." she says somewhere between an exhausted overworked parent and a meek teenager. Moving closer to Velok she whispers something to him.

Misa nods to both girls as they talk, taking them away, Velok has the guy she'll handle these two. "'Kay so... what happened? When did he ask you out?" she asks both of them.

"Friday." "Tuesday." You ask them both at once, they answer both at once. Predictable, really. Eventually, Lisa defers to Sarah, on account of the latter is walking wounded. Well, gingerly sitting, now. "So Tuesday, me and Jesse were talking at lunch, and I said I was going to the mall today and he said we should meet." "And that's /it/? He told me about it on Friday, and he didn't just say 'meet', he offered to buy me anything I wanted here!" Lisa waves an arm around, indicating the food court. Okay, that 'here'. That's a lot more reasonable for the typical budget of a guy Jesse's age.

The pizza gets layed out on the edge of a long table so everyone can grab a slice. Velok doesn't grab a slice, instead he just sits next to Jennifer and folds his hands on the table. He leans closer to Jennifer as she whispers, then nods. "You remind me of a friend of mine." He says with a smirk, shaking his head. "I swear, every time I see that guy, he's with a new woman on his arm. I tried to remember their names but honestly I gave up. The point is, he's only ever with one at a time." Yea, that jerk knows who he is. "You're trying to double down and have both, and believe me. It only blows up in your face." Velok speaks with an odd sense of experience. "So tell me about the others. How many more?" With that, he leans back and whispers towards Jennifer.

Kirsten continues to watch Jesse, then she looks at Velok as he speaks to him, and she wonders the same thing ... how many others? She's not interested in pizza either, more interested in the answer.

Misa nods and plays with her hair for a second. She looks over at Jesse for a short moment then looks back. "You know... now that I gotta better lookit him and you two... be honest I dunno if he's worth it for you two." she says after a moment. "Look my last boyfriend... he cheated on me so many times... every time it hurt and you know what? He totally wasn't worth the pain. If he's askin you both out, I bet he's got other girls... and he's just gonna keep gettin other girls..." she wraps her arms around herself and lowers her head, looking away form them for a moment... maybe playing it up a bit too hard for beach girls but... hey that's what she looks like. "Not worth the pain."

Abruptly, Jesse balls up a napkin and tosses it at Misa. "Look, /fuck off/, all right? I asked 'em to hang out, I didn't ask 'em to /marry/ me or nothing. Like they wouldn't /know/ if I was sleeping my way through half the junior class." Then again, maybe he mostly goes for seniors. You never know, sometimes.

Junior class! How old is this guy? And what is Kirsten seeing in him? /Is/ she seeing anything in him at this point? Probably not, given the scowl she turns in his direction.

Jennifer leans over to Velok and whispers something after staring at Jesse for a long time, she gives a slight shake of her head as she grabs another slice of pizza.

Stepping lightly through the mall, Ani moves from kiosk to kiosk, store window to store window, wih a rhythm. She bobs along, about the height of the children in the area and even mixes with them for a bit as she giggles and darts energetically among them saying aloud "Woooooooooosh!" This, of course, gets mixed reactions from the kids' parents. It's hard enough to control kids at the mall but she HAS made them happy, and with her youthful appearance... maybe she is one of them? Maybe, maybe not. She's certainly unaccompanied. The light plays over her pearlescent hair as she sticks her tongue out at some of the kids and giggles, dancing away and waving to them to look up at the victoria's Secret with wide eyes. "Hmmm... " she intones softly as she looks into the window.

Lisa, at least, seems to have taken the advice to heart. She goes over, slaps Jesse in the face - it's easier when your target is sitting down - then stalks off without another word. Sarah, on the other hand? Is looking over toward Velok with a fresh hint of interest. Oh dear, is there a transfer effect going on? Whatever it is, Jesse is beyond the point of even thinking about doing anything about it.

Misa watches the napkin fly at her and bounce off her head... not dodging until after it dinks off. "Ow!" she says with a pout befre looking back to Sarah. Then back to Velok... then back to Sarah with a wicked grin. She leans in and talks quietly... but not TOO quietly. "I actually useta work with that guy... if ya want I can get him yer number, talk you up a bit."

Velok leans back towards Jennifer and nods, shaking his head slowly. He lets his eyes wander back around the food court, towards new people approaching, then back to Jesse. He just sighs, relaxing back in the chair and shaking his head. He leans back and whispers to Jennifer, reaching over and putting his hand on her arm.

Kirsten stares for a long while at Jesse. There's a fair amount of confusion in her expression, not entirely unlike someone waking from an odd dream, and the surroundings are unfamiliarly familiar. She breaks her gaze towards him, and looks back to Jennifer, then Velok. These two seem to have some idea, but she expects that they'll give her the total runaround. She looks around again. Misa, on the other hand...

Jennifer looks at Velok as he touches her arm and then looks at him shrugging with wide eyes. Clearly having no idea what to do about Jesse from here... He knows what she is, maybe he knows what needs to be done... She might have once.. but not now..

Eventually, Jesse leans back in his seat and runs his fingers through his hair, which doesn't work so well because it's still a little damp with fruity sticky drink. He's going to need some shampoo. "Look, can I go now? I'm gonna go." He stands up and turns toward the escalators.

Velok just shrugs, looking back around the room. He winces a little, letting his eyes flutter closed. Slowly his head shakes, just a bit, then shakes again and his eyes widen once more. "Yea, sure, you can go." A small smile plays across Velok's lips and he relaxes back into the seat, finally stealing a piece of pizza...that he bought. "Nothing we can really do." He shrugs

Kirsten so totally lets Jesse go. She is definitely not Jesse's girl, and can't even remember why she thought she was. Velok and Jennifer get looks again, a tiny crease of concentration showing between her brows. She sighs, and looks away.

Looking down at her small body, then back at the Victoria's Secret and back again, Anisia sighs softly and shrugs a little. She moves on... and spots Velok. Head tipped to one side for a moment, Ani tucks a few pearlescent locks behind one ear and then drifts in the direction of Velok and crew. Her intense aquamarine gaze skims over each visage in turn, but she does not say anything even as she draws into conversational range, not yet.

Misa looks like she's starting to move to intercept Jesse... buuuuut then he gets permission. She stretches, because she was totally just getting up to stretch. She looks at Sarah again, "Offer still stands of course, and he's less busy now." Her eyes move to Kirsten for a moment, checking on how she's handling the situation.

Jesse doesn't stick around to press his luck. He heads off at a fast walk. Sarah, on the other hand, turns to Misa and nods. "Yeah, whatever." She's more just tired of arguing about stuff, and not really thinking about what's being offered.

Jennifer blinks at whatever the hell just happened to Velok. Yeah.. that makes her feel better... She does look at Jesse though and says firmly, "You might want to stop dating for a while... Just a suggestion..." she tries to stress it...

Velok slumps in the chair with Jennifer, his eyes raising and following Jesse. "It's...he doesn't know about it, and he's not doing it on purpose. He's a dick, but all kids his age are." Velok folds the pizza carefully within his hands, then looks back up. He spots Anisia and a small smile plays across his lips, the man's hand raising up and waving towards her. He turns his eyes to peer towards Kirsten, seeing if she'll follow after Jesse. "Ironically, it's going to bring him nothing but pain, and eventually he'll wish it never happened. Maybe when he's older." Velok lets his eyes close, and he sets the pizza back down. "I never caught your name..." he asks Jennifer, hopefully to dissuade Misa's attempts to apparently hook Velok up with an underaged girl.

Kirsten isn't really handling the situation at all. She's totally blown off Jesse (who?) and she lifts an eyebrow at Velok when he looks her way.

Jennifer nods to Velok, "Yeah.. but it's almost the equivalent of date rape.. Just cause he's not aware of it doesn't mean someone shouldn't do something to stop it... I just.. don't know what to do.." she admits and eats more pizza.. The adrenaline surge did make her hungry. When Velok again asks her name she pauses mid bite and looks at him, then back at the pizza, "Jennifer," she says quietly and starts eating again.

Misa giggles and nods. "Alright sugar, here prolly easier for me to call me from yer phone to get the number." she says after a nod, putting out her hand, not giving her much time to think while she's feeling compliant. She starts to scan around the mall.

"It's..I dunno what to do either." Velok shrugs, shaking his head. "Short of telling him what he is, which he won't believe. He's a young kid that just sees that girls love him. Talking to him won't work." Velok sighs and straightens back up in his chair, turning to look back towards the bags that were on his table, making sure nothing's been lifted. "Velok. It's nice to meet you, Jennifer. Thanks for doing that...thing you did." He nods his head to the woman, then looks back after Jesse and at the others.

Kirsten wanders away from the pair that have effectively dismissed her, and heads towards Misa, giving Sarah a wary look.

Jennifer nods to Velok, "At least it can be useful..." she says softly, eating more of her pizza. Then she pauses blinking, looking up at the tall man and asks, "Douchecanoe?"

Misa lets sarah go after getting her number... and Jesse's... she turns around and starts entering Jesse's number into the phone when she almost runs into Kirsten. "Oh hey sugar, I was aboutta call you..."

Stepping up next to Velok, Ani intones in her reedy soprano, "So, what's up Chief?" She looks between the others and then back to Velok, pursing her lips, "Hmm. That kind of situation?" She tugs on a lock of her pearlescent hair and watches after those departing, departed, arriving, etc. She chews the magenta lipstick off her lower lip and lets her blue gaze drift over the crowd. "Interesting company you keep."

Kirsten looks at Misa oddly, then nods slightly. "Yeah?" She glances about surreptitiously. "What about?"

Velok's eyes squint and he turns back to stare towards Jennifer. His head tilts as he remembers, then he nods. "Ah, you've been talking to one of my fans." He says, shaking his head. He rises up from the table, holding his fingers clenched against the side. He does smile as Anisia gets closer, his posture straightening. "Anisia, a pleasure." He says, nodding his head towards the rest. "Young kid was with his girlfriend, when his other girlfriend came up and found out. They fought, rather pathetically. We tried to convince the guy not to continue on but eh." He shrugs, glancing to Jennifer, then over towards Anisia. "Really only just met. I was shopping for supplies." Oh, right, gotta be polite. "Anisia, Jennifer. Jennifer, Anisia. And I'm douchecanoe." He snorts at the name, then looks over towards Misa and Kirsten.

Misa shrugs and looks around before sighing. "I honestly don't even know." She answers. "No idea what's goin on here really honey was hopin you did... slick move with the phone by the way, not sure even I'm that good."

Jennifer nods to Anisia, "Hello Anisia," she responds to the introduction with a polite if shy nod as she continues eating her pizza slice.

Nice to meet ya," says Ani with a bright smile, her cheeks dimpling. She then leans close to Jennifer, stage whispering as though it were a big secret she is conferring, "You can call me Ani, if you like. Most people do." Her blue eyes skim over the woman eating pizza before drifting back to Velok before she purses her lips and says, "Whoah, hold the phone. I'm not sure I grok. That sounds like a private matter between him and those girls... I mean sure he was a douchenozzle if he dated both of them without telling them, but there has to be more to the 411 than that, amirite? At worst the fight between the girls is something you should just let mall security handle. I mean, yeah... you totes don't go around picking up a girl when you are WITH one."

Velok smiles from Anisia to Jennifer, then over towards Misa and Kristen. He turns his attention back to Jennifer and nods. "Well, thank you for the help, at least. It was fun working together, even if we didn't get to solve the problem. We at least stopped a catastrophic showdown at the food court." He looks back to Anisia and nods. He leans in, whispering towards Ani as best as he can, then pulls back away and shrugs once more. "Yea, young love isn't necessarily my area of expertise. I'm not a therapist. I said my piece to him, then he left." Velok returns his blue eyes to Jennifer, his smile painting his lips. "So, should I take it to think that you also believe in my douchecanoe status?"

Kirsten shrugs to Misa, not seeming to have a clue what she was talking about. "Well, I can tell you a little, but I was hoping you had more of an idea."

Misa nods to Kirsten and calls Jesse's phone, making it go off in Kirsten's pocket. "Look call me later, I'm gonna try'n find out more about what's goin on... at the very least I owe ya a drink or somethin for... messin up yer date. Sorry about that again. I mean he WAS a cheating boyfriend just like... not MY cheatin boyfriend." she shrugs. "Anyway, sorry I gotta run, we'll hang out!" she calls running out, giving absolutely no indication she knows who Belok or Jennifer are. Anisia? Who's that? I'm not with these guys.

Jennifer finishes her pizza and then rises nodding to Ani and Velok, "I should go.. I think.. we might have a mutual friend.." she tells Velok, "I know Phil," she says simply then moves to leave with a wave. She still looks a bit uncomfortable.

"Phil. Nice guy." Velok says and nods his head in appreciation. "Thank you again." Velok doesn't inhibit Jennifer leaving, though as she gets farther away he gets a sigh of relief. The phone comes up and out of his pocket and he's texting away, his fingers tapping along the screen out several messages.

Anod is given in response to something Velok says. "Mmm. I see. That makes more sense," murmurs Ani. She watches as Velok checks messages and shrugs, moving onwards as well ""See ya around, I guess, Space Cowboy."

Velok looks up awkwardly towards Anisia, then smiles. "Space cowboy, I haven't heard that one before. We need to talk, as well, sometime." He looks down to his phone, then up towards Ani. "About what you want to do next." With that Velok turns, heading towards his table and collecting his shopping bags. He scoops them up all then starts to move onwards as everyone else is.
