Silvana is waiting for Gwydion to arrive after his call. She looks thoughtful as she looks over some files having told her staff to let him in when he arrived

Zuri wanders in arguing with someone on her cellphone. "No it was not my fault, I was not the Tank. Sure I yelled Leroy Jenkins, but the dumb ass tauren tank is the one who charged in and wiped us." Zuri rolls her eyes, "Yes Sargon, I understand I instigated it...maybe but...fine i'll pay your repair bill." She looks over at Sil and flops on the desk, "He'll be with us via telecom."

Gwydion shows up pretty promptly once he gets the go ahead from Silvana, and nods to Zuri and grins "For the Horde." Then he looks between the ladies and nods "I was just stopping by for a courtesy call since I've been asked to look into who arranged the raid on the Argent Institute and this was where I'd first heard that name. I already know it wasn't any of my people, and I would like to know if it was yours or not?"

Silvana does stand up when Gwydion comes in and smiles as always being polite and pleasent "Please come in and have a seat? Would you like something to drink?" she looks towards Zuri letting her answer the question at hand.

Zuri lights a cigarette, "Asked by who?" Zuri asks as she sits the phone down so who ever is on the other end can monitor. "Got an ashtray Sil or do I use the fern again?"

Silvana pulls out the ashtray for Zuri so the poor fern doesn't get any of those nasty ashes.

Gwydion shrugs "The same person who I talked into executing one of her own sect members for the slaughter at the Dive. She was actually quite civil about it all, especially considering I could provide video evidence of them breaking their own laws. We might not have agreed on why she had to die but it was enough that she did."

Zuri says, "So you work for the Sabbat? How interesting?" She looks over at Silvana for a moment then back at Gwydion. "I find this so very curious. Tell me where were you any yours when this horribly civil person stole explosives and blew up a building in the city?"

Silvana blinks as she looks at Gwydion and looks at Zuri and takes a breath before they both look back at him.

Gwydion quirks an eyebrow at Zuri "I've done work for them, I've done work for Independent vampires, I've done work for lots of folks who are neither. I don't know which explosion you're talking about in this case but I know there was at least one instance where Faqirah broke into a munitions depot and stole a pallet of C4. I got contracted by an interested party to retrieve it and I did so. I imagine I was working on something else, it really depends on what gets brought to my attention."

Silvana takes a deep breath "That would be the C4 that was used for said explotion."

Gwydion shakes his head "She might have gotten more elsewhere but what I retrieved she never found out why it disappeared from the sewer lair where they had it stashed."

Zuri says, "So you work for people who would run wholesale slaughter through the city because they ask you to? Then again she's used you before to take care of things she didn't feel like having to deal with? Please explain to me how you work for a sect that slaughters humans and causes terror? Oh no Sil, she and Cyn stole an entire palate of c4, then it was stolen from them. So the jerry rigged more explosives under the hotel because you know, Faqirah couldn't take the hint when the c4 vanished."

Silvana ohs very softly at Zuri and just keeps quiet looking between Gwydion and Zuri.

Gwydion chuckles and shakes his head "Me thinks the lady doth protest too much. I think we're done here at any rate, you're more concerned with pointing fingers than answering my question so I could get out in front of this and prevent it from getting even more out of hand." He gets up and straightens his coat as he nods to Silvana "Thank you for taking my call."

Zuri says, "No I will answer your questions but I need to know where your coming from. I have had many long conversations with Father Cross on the matter of the sabbat. And I know where he comes from when he speaks to me. You though I do not know at all. But if my being cautious of your motives makes you leave then so be it."

Silvana stands up as Gwydion straightens his coat and she bows her head to Gwydion "of course, anytime. Thank you for calling" she looks between the two of you perhaps as if considering something.

Gwydion nods back at Zuri "He's the one that trained me. I do not help the sabbat create terror, I do not help them commit murder of any sort. When the cross the line I hold I do their leader the courtesy of giving her the chance to handle matters internally before I start going at the guilty with fire and sword. Its a consequence she prefers to avoid. As a return courtesy when it comes to defending themselves from other predators I won't fight their battles for them and I doubt Faqirah would ask. She just asked if I knew who'd done it. I'd prefer it wasn't your faction because I imagine she's planning violent retaliation and the war heating back up isn't something any sane person would want."

Zuri says, "Silvana would you step outside for a moment so I can speak to the young man in private?" Zuri stubs out her cigarette and lights up another, the joys of undeath you don't have to worry about lung cancer."

Silvana looks like she will protest but then takes a breath "Of course" she turns to head for the door and looks at Gwydion for a moment and gives him a nod "I'll be right outside.

Gwydion nods at Silvana and shrugs "I'll see you before I leave."

Silvana walks to the exit heading to the main floor.

Zuri says, "I do not know the limits of your ability but if you could make sure we are not being heard or recorded. I have made promises to people I do not wish to see broken inadvertantly."

Gwydion nods and looks around at all the glossy well polished surfaces in the office and reaches out with his will to bend the light into a cage of signal blocking stealth. This will also cut off Zuri's cell phone. "Occultatio, adiurant per voluntatem."

Trusting in your ability to scramble the conversation Zuri taps her ashes, "Perhaps introductions are now in order. I am Sydney Natavia, former Bishop of the Prospect Sabbat and now the Camarilla Scourge. Father Cross aided in my leaving the sabbat and my new form, with the understanding I would not let people know. This situation seems to be one where full disclosure will be in the best interest of both parties."

Gwydion nods and grins "I'm pretty sure we've met then, at least once. Though to be fair a lot of times people's eyes stayed fixed on Father Cross and didn't pay the young man in the long leather coat behind him no mind at all."

"It is possible, and you are quite right there is a war coming. It has been coming since I negotiated a peace between the sects. With in an hour of telling the sabbat their harrassment and attacks on the Camarilla had to end I had a near mutiny on my hands. Then they becan to try and figure out a way to break it. It was at that point I realized peace would be an impossibility and something had to be done."

She pauses and lifts a shoulder, "Don't get me wrong I fully believe the ancients are going to rise and unless we are prepared they will drown the world in blood. But the constant warfare with the Camarilla makes no sense, it simply keeps both sides so depleted that when the ends comes we will be to weak to be truly effective. So when Father Cross helped me change my form I told him I would do my best to postpone the war. I have done this and tried to prepare the Camarilla so it will not be a slaughter. Faqirah is quite right I am the one responsible for the loss of their haven. Given their is a shift in power in the sabbat and the fact given they allowed a slaughter to happen the war can not be far off. The loss of their haven is a black eye, it is something done to put them off balance.

Faqirah for all her bluster is a coward at heart. She attacked the Camarilla because she knew they would not risk open conflict. She attacked others who she knew were weaker then her, the one time she faced someone who could kill her. She attacked them with a pack at her back to make sure she survived. And as I told you in our first meeting you would be offered up Eden as a scapegoat, it would all be her fault. Eden was many things among them not to bright and a follower. I am quite certain she was spurred on to what happened. And when you took interest the ranks closed and she was pushed out to answer for it."

Gwydion folds his hands behind his back and quirks an eyebrow at the monolouge "I'd be interested to hear what you think I should take back to Faqirah?" His tone is being kept carefully neutral.

Zuri lights another cigarette, "Her threat of bloody swords is just that a threat. It's clear that if she had the faintest clue the Camarilla was actually to blame she would never have gone to you. She is looking for you to confirm what she hopes is true. I say hope because if it is not true it means she and her people are the ones actually to blame for the loss of the haven. So I can offer you the truth to take back to her, the tips that led to the loss of their haven came from humans not vampires. Which is the truth, even the police can verify there were multiple tips called in from the down and out in the area. Did I help them along, maybe but that is not what she asked you is it. She asked who told the police and that would be her food supply. Which might just give them pause, her people did something stupid. They slaughtered a bar full of humans, now the humans she thinks so frightened of her tell the police where to find them. I don't know if she is old enough to remember burning torches but I am and so are the higher ups above her. Turning the humans of prospect in to a torch wielding mob is not something they want to deal with. Nor do they want to deal with the mages raining fire on them because they start an all out war."

Gwydion nods as he considers "So her assumption of a direct connection with the incident involving Eden and Spotted Horse is incorrect. Multiple independent reports from the humans of the surrounding neighborhood of suspicious activity prompted the police action. That seems workable."

Zuri says, "In the end the truth is simple, if Eden and Spotted Horse had not killed the people in the dive, none of this would have happened. Their actions allowed me to do this in a manner that kept open warfare from happening. I suspect she wants you to tell her it was anyone but her own peoples actions. Faqirah is very much a creature that wants to be feared, to be respected. This makes her look bad, she can't control her people, she lost the haven. I find it poetic justice for all the things she has done to the people of prospect. A little humility might do her good.""

Gwydion nods and ponders everything he's been told "Well at least I know the situation now and I thank you for sharin that with me. Here's hopin she buys what I have to say as the whole story, because if she doesn't....odds are she'll still come gunnin for the camarilla."

Zuri says, "She'll be doing that anyway, it's just who she is. But this will buy more time. Good evening Gwydion do have a good night."
