Tinlin is standing near the door and isn't hard to find. She's stepping aside from the dust and points to Lleu to move aside as it seems the guys are about to tear another chunk off the roof and toss it. "Hello Lleu," her green eyes brighten when she sees the truck pull up front. She may be shy but she does greet Ghost-on-Water with a smile as well. "The roof was bad and sagging and Khol said it had to go. Stand clear." She peers upward, and then back to Lleu again. "I'm sorry I missed you playing last night. Sean too."

Hjalmar positions himself to push the roof section clear. "Alright people. Do not stand under here!" And then there's te voice of Lleu coming from downstairs. "Heeey! Lleu! Welcome! Amd you too Ghost!"

Lleutrim smiles warmly to Tinlin, "Understood. Not the first time I've helped pull a roof off of a cabin. My folks had a cabin in the mountains that I grew up in, when I wasn't being dragged from one military base to another." He eyes the place, "Putting on a tin roof or shingle? Looks like you could use larger, newer windows in the place and a good wood rot inspection, then maybe a good powerwash, insect treatment and reseal. Biggest concern with places out in the woods are insects and moisture." Ghost comes on up and says, "Ghost-on-Water, Adren, Ragabash, Children of Gaia and general runaround man at your service, miss." Donnachaidh chuckles, "Come to think of it, I didn't get a chance to give a proper introduction myself, Tinlin. Lleu Donnachaidh, Rite named Battle Singer, or if you prefer the Scots Gaelic, Seinneadair Blàr. Born on two legs beneath the gibbous moon, Cliath." A look around, "What can we help with, here?" They /are/ being careful to have stepped up on any deck out of the way of falling roofing.

Khol grins to Hjalmar "They are almost in time.. At this rate the roof will be completely off in fifteen minutes. And then the real work starts." he then counts off "On three.. One, two , three" and they swing the hammer again. And again the roof section quickly tilts out from the crest, then ponderously under the onslought of hammers and crowbar, tilts out and crashes to the ground again, just almost a third of the roof now completely gone.

Tinlin turns to listen to Ghost-on-Water's introduction and then gets almost through Lleutrim's introduction before the next section of roofing goes crashing down. It startles her, but Khol did give warning! She side steps again, and offers a smaller curtsey to Lleu. Her voice rings out, enough to be heard maybe by those above. "Tha mi toilichte ur coinneachadh," she smiles gently. The Scottish accent thicker as she offers recognition. "I am Tinlin O'Malley. Kin to the Fianna and known among the Midlothien as Kinain, and Tianalin of Edinburgh. Hjalmar and I are old friends, from our theatrical battle days." She chuckles. "Playing at war, an a bit' of clangin' our shields. Now I'm helping him start his new homestead, an plan to stay a few months or so before heading back home to Scotland."

Hjalmar heaves and slams with the hammer. And watches the roof go down. Then as this quiets down a bit inbetween, he listens to Lleu's introduction to Tinlin. A proud smile on his face. "Ghost-on-Water-Rhya. If you will. Could you and Lleu clean up and stack the parts of roof we already got down?" Then there's that thick Scottish from Tinlin and he chuckles a little. Then her introduction follows. "Aye! And good times they were!" He shouts as he turns back to Khol and Skully. "Alright. On to the next section!" He grins broadly and is clearly enjoying the work being done. That and the amount of people showing up to help..

"Oh, that's in Great Britain," Skully replies to Tinlin's introduction, nodding once and smiling as he ducks under a beam. "Saw it on a nature show last week. So you're on vacation. Neat. I hope you like California." He reaches up and puts a hand on one of the plywood sheets, pushing up and popping it free like nothing, then asks Hjalmar, "What happened to your roof, anyhow?"

Sean comes through, a pack over his shoulder. He's wearing shorts, like he damn well prefers to do and there is a long strip of hair down the outside of one leg that's just.. not there. Smooth as a baby's butt, it is. He has acknowledged this, debated shaving his whole entire legs and went for 'possibly mange' jokes instead. When he sees all the things going on, he pauses, debating whether or not to go ahead and come up.

Hjalmar watches Skully pop that plywood free with ease and shrugs at the man. "No clue actually. I got the place in this state. Done a few repairs so far, but it is not finished by far." He sighs. "I just think it a matter of neglect. And with that, I'm happy that the roof did not fully collapse.. There would be far more damage otherwise. And to clean all those shingles... Well...Rather hope to avoid that actually."

Ghost looks up and waves to Hjalmar, "Sure we can! You all having a dumpster brought out here, or should we load it up in the back of my truck and start taking loads out?" Donnachaidh smiles at Tinlin's Scottish even if he has no idea what she just said, "Shame you don't plan to stay long. Hjalmar's a good friend to us so we are glad to help out." Lleu looks out into the piled roofing, "We will get started on that once they stop dropping pieces. I don't want any on my head, thanks."

Johanna has heard there is a 'thing' going on and /this/ is the place to be! Gone is the makeup and costume from last night, off to patrol she went this morning and after finishing up, here she is! She hurries along after hearing the crash and sees all these people here! She hasn't been here before, but recognizes most of them... including Sean and his semi manscaped legs? Since he's the closest to her she speak to him from behind, "Morning Broken Claw! Issues with the costume last night or just a fashion statement?"

Khol nods once and offers "I think once this is done, you will find a lot of the rest of your concerns will be put to rest.. But the place seems to have a solid foundation, and thats most important.. The rest is just work." he smiles a bit, and motions "lets get the last half of this thing cleared.. then we can take a break while we organize getting the roof back on. "+desc/load normal Khol hears Johanna's voice and stickshis head out between two of the trusses of the exposed roof, where there isnt any obscruction and waves "hey Babe!" he grins "We wont be too much longer here.. Skully is quite good at pulling out these nails, and that makes taking this roof off a breeze."

Sean had not heard there was a thing, btw. "Good morning, Starchaser." He looks down at his leg and rubs it a little bit. "Fashion statement, for sure. See, look." He looks down and runs his finger along a teensy strip of hair that managed to survive the slaughter. "That means 'Cliath.' It's the new way for us to know who's who in public. The elders are screaming with joy about it. I hopped on board QUICK." HOW do people manage to say this stuff with straight face? He gives Johanna a little wink and a grin.

Skully reaches up and pulls himself up onto a beam, keeping his balance on one knee and pulling out nails so he has more room to stand. He pops each one up and then into a pocket on his tool belt, trying to keep the hazards out of everyone's way -- safety first -- before moving on to the next square of plywood and prying that up, too. He waves down at the folks /not/ in the attic, then looks back to the folks /in/ the attic and asks, "Does anyone have somethin' to drink? I'd jus' go get it myself, but I'm already up here on the struts."

Tinlin turns to look up at Skully and watches him moving around in the open attic. Her head tilts just right and she shields her eyes from the sun, "A vacation I'll never forget," she laughs. "Just like I'll never forget the color of that vomit flavored couch. It needs to be chopped up for firewood." She's standing outside now a few feet back from the front door. Her head turns when she hears Johanna's voice and then Sean coming in up the dirt driveway. A wide smile is offered to both, "You came." She wasn't sure he would. "Hello Sean," she greets him and then looks to Johanna. "And you must be Khol's mate. Welcome, I was looking forward to meeting you." She walks over to them both, and then pauses as she hears Skully's question. "I can bring out drinks for everyone if it's safe to go back inside, aye?"

Hjalmar turns to face Ghost. "No way to get a container up here. So yes please. Load it up and deposit it at a dump I guess. Not sure what facilities there are, here in the US for such things." Then to Lleu. "Hence me saying to start where we are done already. No need for people to get hurt." Then his attention goes to Johanna and Sean. "Ah! Welcome both! It is awesome to see how many people turn up for such a thing! Thank you all!" He makes sure that everyone hears this. Then a nod at Skully. "Aye. I will ask Tinlin." And so he does! "Tinlin, can you get something to drink go around please?"

Ghost-on-Water smirks up at Hjalmar, "Not a long container, no. But if my truck made it, a short dumpster could be brought up. Access here isn't anything like I've seen them navigate up in the mountains. You'd be very surprised." He waves away the concern, "Dump charges are high in California but we can manage." California is a pain in the ass in many ways. Lleu gives a nod, "We'll start over there then on the other side you aren't working. Just holler at us if you change positions." The two of them go get work gloves from the truck. Ghost will do a very creative 3 point turn around you'd think he couldn't manage on such a narrow track but he'll jink his truck around and back it up as close as he can. Lleutrim starts to load up and Ghost'll join him.

Skully pops a few more nails out of part of the roof, then takes a look at it, gets himself braced on two struts, and just /lifts/ from the shoulder and knees. As strong as the huge Metis is, that section of the roof just pops right up, at least on one end, and he lets it settle back, noting, "Okay, this part's ready to be dismantled." Yep, right dude for the job. Knows his carpentry /and/ his leverage.

Johanna grins at Sean and then bows her head respectfully to Tinlin. "Oh you have heard of me? Yes, I am Johanna. Khol's mate. Also known by my rite name, Starchaser, Adren Philodox of the Stargazers." She listens to Tinlin and nods and speaks softly back to her. She looks up and waves to Khol then, "Hi Honey! Be careful up there!"

Tinlin mutters something to Johanna as if clearly teasing and in good spirits this day! "Well met!" Smiling to Johanna, she pauses on her own introduction. "One moment. Please forgive me. Thirsty garou." She pats down the apron she is wearing with the wider pockets. One pocket holds a hammer, and the other a feather duster. Lot good it will do now! She lifts her voice back up to Hjalmar, to her kinsman. "I'm right on it. Drinks coming up." She has to make her way back inside the cabin and to the world war II ice box inside to pull free all the water bottles she shoved in last evening. They all get tucked inside a plastic bucket and she climbs the ladder to heave it upward with a go.

Khol grins "Me. careful?" he teases back down as he moves into position with the others, it will only take a few more minutes at this rate, and the roof as a whole will be down. "Look out below!" he calls out as they push to topple the next section out, which should be on the opposite side from the already finished side.

Hjalmar braces and readies himself to repeat the procedure to get the next section of roof down. "Alright Tinlin!" He replies to his Kin. "Just be careful, and stay a bit to the side!" He starts applying pressure where needed, and keeps the hammer ready for use.

Sean smiles at Tinlan. "I did promise," he says with a grin, nodding to Johanna. Yup. Semi-mange. That's him

Skully turns sideways and drops right down between the struts, landing with a thud not terribly far from Tinlin and ducking under a beam to step over to her. "Oh, thank you, ma'am," he rumbles in that Baloo baritone of his, reaching into her bucket to pull out a drink. "I'm powerful parched. My thanks." He cracks open the water and guzzles half of it, leaning back against the wall and taking a breath. "Much obliged."

Skully is an impressive work force all by himself. Below and on the other side, Ghost-on-Water (who has no other name anybody knows) and Lleu are loading up trash roofing into the back of the powder blue Ford pickup truck. If they don't already have a radio playing music, Ghost'll turn on the radio in the truck.

Tinlin ducks her head down when the heave ho gets called again! She lifts her hand up to protect the crown of her head and then shimmies the bucket up for someone to grab. She doesn't care who takes it as long as she doesn't die from debris falling down. A winked gesture goes back to Skully when he thanks her. "Ceud mle filte. That means, a hundred thousand welcomes. It is a special way to show gratitude for doing a deed very much appreciated." She checks on Hjalmar and Khol to make sure they are okay and then drops back down the ladder to get outside again.

Sean smiles over at Johanna and offers his arm, nodding toward the closer area, but still out of way of the work. "May I escort you, madam Starchaser, to a place more worthy of a lovely lady?" No, he isn't ACTUALLY flirting

"Ceud... m... mle... filte," Skully manages clumsily, then shrugs and smiles broadly, taking the bucket and looking over to Khol and Hjalmar. "Water!" he calls, making his way over to them and adding, "Thank Tinlin, she done went and fetched it. 'Bout done with this; gonna need to put somethin' on it, now."

Johanna takes Sean's arm as a FRIEND and grins. "Certainly, thank you kind sir!" She will follow him to wherever the non-roofers are hanging out so they can keep out of the way.

Tinlin glances over her shoulder at Skully, "Keep practicing. You'll get it." She's never seen anyone so happy that she gave them a bucket of water before. Once outside, she clears the fresh air and makes sure she doesn't have plaster or debris, or roof tile ash in her hair. She rejoins Johanna and Sean. "Much better now. Shall I try that introduction again now?" She asks gently.

Khol is clearly listening, even as he works, and he sets the 15 lb sledge over his shoulder as he looks out from the open roof. "Hey now.. That /is/ my wife there." he grins a little, clearly just teasing. Taking just a moment before they can get the last two sections down.

Hjalmar gladly accepts a bottle of water offered by Skully after Tinlin. brought it up. "Thanks, dear Tinlin, and Skully. Appteciated." He smiles upon her thanking Skully and grins at the man. "I love it when she uses her native tongue. And She's also a damn good fighter... It is how we truly met. Fighting in a LARP, Reenactment back home." He chuckles. "We stood shield to shield in a shieldwall. And we truly had a sweet time! After the battle was done, we looked like pigs with all the mud everywhere."

Sean grins at Khol and gives him the thumbs up as he escorts Khol's wife to a place to sit and gives her a grand bow. "M'lady," he says, then takes a seat at an acceptable distance from her and then looks around to make sure there isn't something he can do to actually help, rather than flirting with a Litany break.

"A... LARP?" Skully replies curiously, laughing a bit. "How many words am I gonna have to learn today? Sounds fun, though." He shrugs, reaching up to steady a shaky bit of plywood while he finishes his water. "She seems real nice. Pretty accent. Ain't heard that'n a'fore, I don't think, 'cept in movies. It's nicer in person." He grins, looking up with his good eye, and says, "Okay, so I think once this's off... that's it, right? Last bit of it here?"

Lleutrim and Ghost get the truck loaded up with as much roofing trash as they dare pile up in the back of the bed. Ghost-on-Water is a man who's used to hauling stuff so he pulls out a big plastic tarp. He and Lleu throw it over the junk and start to tie it down so nothing will fly or fall out on the way to town. Once they are done with that, Ghost hollers up, "Taking the first load to the dump! I'll leave Battle Singer here - put him to some use and don't let him flake out and sit around singing to you instead!" He winks at Donnachaidh and gets into the pickup truck to fire it up and head out. "Har, har, Ghost. Bring us back several cases of beer, and something to eat, won't you?" Lleu starts dragging and organizing more of the debris into stacks to tidy up and making loading it up into the truck easier when Ghost gets back.

Hjalmar chuckles and nods at Skully. "Aye. LARP, Life Action Role Play. We played a bunch of scandinavian tribes. And well.. That truly worked out well. Nobody got past our part of the line. And we broke all lines we charged. She might be shorter than I am. But fight, she can." He's clearly proud of this memory. "We formed a very good team." He watched the gal she dissapeared through and smiles before turning to Skully again. "Aye, I think so." A look to Khol. "This bit can be kicked off in one go, right?"

Tinlin tucks back a few more locks of her red hair behind her slightly pointed ears as she politely holds back her introduction for now. "Another time perhaps when she returns?" Her green eyes look back at Sean. "I thought perhaps you would be sleeping in after the party ran so late last evening." She looks him over and sees the patch of missing hair on his leg. "Scissors, or did you rip it off like a howling banshee?!"

Sean sits and chats quietly with Johanna for a moment or two, then pushes up to his feet to move toward Tinlin, unslinging his pack from his shoulder. "Miss Tinlin, I actually brought you something if you have a second." Sean grins down at his leg and then back to Tinlin. "Tried scissors, but it was stuck to my skin too. So I went for the whole exfoliating wax.. thing. I cried, miss Tinlin. I. Cried." He probably didn't actually

"Yeah, I saw 'Braveheart'. An' 'Brave', too, for that matter. Scottish movies like the word 'brave', I guess. And 'spotting'." Skully shrugs, reaching both hands up to the roof slat, and says to Hjalmar and Khol, "Okay, so I'm jus' gonna push straight up on it. Don't worry 'bout what it weighs; you two jus' aim it so it falls in the right spot, an' we heave on three, okay?"

Tinlin has her eyes on Skully as she's standing below outside of the cabin along with Sean. Those two are talking quietly, and it appears he's about to give her something. Johanna has quietly stepped away, but will be returning. Lleutrim is about to join the guys ripping the roof off, and above is Khol, Skully, and Hjalmar with sledgehammers, crowbars, and other big man tools. There is a large amount of debris on the ground outside the cabin that Ghost-on-Water was loading in his truckbed to take to the dump. It is now looking like a construction site outside with Garou and Kinfolk busy working side by side.

Walking down the path towards the clearing, so many folks around and Kohana pauses. "Afternoon." he greets glancing around for a bit. "Alot of work being done it seems."

Hjalmar nods at Skully. "Sounds good." A nod to Khol. "Alright. One.. Two.. Three!" And he starts pushing it towards where it has to go. Almost there!" And a final push before it is on the right trajectory. "There it goes!" He grins and looks around. "This looks weird.. The walls without a roof."

Tinlin looks up at Sean as her features soften, "Owww." She seems sympathetic for his plight. "I see a pattern woven all around you that is a common theme for the path you are taking, Sean. You are always suffering from your decisions," she smiles back gently. 'At least the pain was quick I hope. And you do?" Her eyes brighten once more and she looks to see what he has for her.

Now that Ghost-on-Water pulls out with his loaded up pickup truck to head for the dump, and Lleu's piled a stack ready to load when Ghost gets back, Donnachaidh comes back up to the porch and heads up towards the attic area, "If there's room for another, I'll come help? Looks like a few hard hats would also be handy. Sorry we didn't bring any. I could text Ghost to ask him to bring us anything you need." (repose)

Sean laughs happily down at Tinlin and shakes his head. "I have no idea what you're talking about. I make no bad decisions." THAT.. that's a lie, folks. But a good natured one. He reaches into his pack and pulls out a small wooden box and removes something that looks like a 1/3 scale chopstick. He offers it over. "Since your friends are bitches and like to leave you alone, this is a talen I made... am making for a bunch of the kin. You can hold it in your pocket or up in your hair or wherever and it's hard to accidentally break - I gave a couple of them to little ten year old boys to run around with all day and none of them broke - but they're quite easy to break on purpose. If you find yourself in a bad situation that you can't get out of, break one of these and it will scream. Everyone within five or six blocks if you're in the city, a little further range if you're in the forest, EVERYONE will hear it, even if they're asleep, even if they have earbuds on. Draws attention. Hurts the ears, that sort of thing." He offers this up quietly. He isn't whispering, just speaking in a conversational tone.

Skully heaves with everyone else, and /that/ is /that/. When Lleu pokes in, he chuckles and notes, "Well, it's time to put an actual roof on here, so I guess yeah." He looks down at the folks in front of the house, catching Tinlin looking over, and glances around, trying to see what she's looking at. But there's no one around him. He frowns, looking back at her, then runs a hand through his hair, sighing heavily and looking at the struts and beams. "Right. Needs a roof."

Tinlin lifts her hand to accept the mini chopstick, "This is very thoughtful of you. Thank you," she meets Sean's gaze and then slides the chopstick into the smaller topknot she wears as she winds it up in a loose knot. It is woven in carefully, and she pats it down nice and secure. "Best decision you ever made, but I am not so sure I would call my friends bitches. They were simply busy and wanted all the good costumes before they were gone." She makes excuses for them, naturally, as she isn't a mean person. "I'll make better friends. Johanna, Starchaser'rhya seems very nice. Perhaps we'll get along?" She looks in the direction she went, and hopes she comes back. "Thank you again."

"I can perhaps help some." Kohana offers as he closes in on where they are working. "Although admittedly more of my kin helped build our cabins than I did myself...I wouldnt call myself a master carpenter."

Sean nods. "And they left you alone in town in a store, wearing a corset, where two total strangers had to rescue you and you never did find them, by your own admission. Friends don't do that." But he nods. "Starchaser is very nice and doesn't fall into the category of people I'd like to punch in the face, yes." See? He isn't irrational about things at ALL.

Lleutrim looks to Skully, "You all have enough roofing materials? You'll want plywood first? I can start bringing it and hand it up to you to set when you are ready for it." He pulls off his gloves and snags a bottle of water if there are any set out he can find to get a drink. "Got an air hammer or doing it by hand?"

Hjalmar looks up at Kohana upon hearing the man's voice. "Hey! Kohana! Good to see you again! And ofcourse you can help. Khol and Skully here are rather apt in this." He turns to Lleu and shrugs. "No clue to be honest. I know that we need to fix the main beam up there. Needs to be replaced as rot was in it."

"Man, I just got asked to come help tear the damn thing off, so I brought tools," Skully replies to Lleutrim with a shrug, pointing at Hjalmar. "Ask him, it's his place. Ain't know what all material he got, brought, or whatever." For the moment, the goliath heads back out, and finds himself face-to-face with Kohana, who he greats with a smile and a duck of his head. "Umm... ahem. Hello, sir. Heard you addressed as Kohana, an' I heard the name a'fore. Evan James Pridemore II, called Skully but rited Weathers-the-Storm, Fostern waning Ya'pahe Metis'a the Wendigo. Pleasure to finally meet you, sir."

Tinlin flushes with embarassment as Sean repaints the situation in front of her. Her voice softens quite a bit, "And now I have two new friends, and one of them gave me a screaming banshee for a present." She attempts to turn the negative situation around to one that is positive. "Will you help me build a fire? We need ta burn some of the timber they are throwing down and we can start wit' that putrid colored couch." She lifts a hand to touch the other fianna's arm as if needing to change subjects for now. "Tha mi'tuigsinn."

Sean grins, nodding, letting things switch around to the positive. He isn't a douchebag who needs to dwell on things. He's just an asshole who speaks his mind. "I absolutely will. Is it treated lumber? We should be careful about what we burn so we don't pollute things. But yeah, let's get a fire going. I'll let you lead."

Kohana glances over to Tinlin curiously, eyes her explanation and he cant but smile at the positive attitude. His gaze turns back to Skully then and he dips his head in greeting. "Hello, Ive heard your name around." he recollects and then introduces himself, "I am Kohana Stormbreaker, Born under the warriors face of Luna to the great Wendigo. Last scion of the Three Rivers sept and custodian of Wakinyan Tanka."

Hjalmar listens to Kohana's introduction as the work up here takes a different shape by now. "Alright people. We can either continue directly. Or take a small break to eat and drink something. I propose the latter as I would like to get the plan drawn up without us all being working hard, heaving whatever needs heaving. That does not help with the concentration."

Skully bows his head again, giving Kohana a grin. "Glad to finally meet you, Stormbreaker-rhya. Always good to know your own. Now to try to get a roof on this place, huh?" He rolls his eye, clapping the man on the shoulder and stepping around him and outside, striding over to Sean and Tinlin. "Umm... did Hjalmar happen to set any building materials aside a'fore we started tearin' up his house?"

Tinlin stops midway over to a firepit surrounded by rocks half embedded into the ground and looks up at Skully. She has an armload of debris in her hands but she is still able to point in one direction. "There isn't any. He is meaning to call Rhea to have her bring over timber but Khol did say we could put up tarps for the night over the roof if need be." She looks way up at the tall Wendigo giant, and then over at Kohana. "Hello." An obvious fianna kin helping out.

Donnachaidh gives a nod to what Hjalmar says, "Then we'll need to do that first. We have a replacement beam? Is it too heavey to heave up? Or we need to rig pullies and ropes?" Because you know, sometimes those fuckers are huge and difficult to put into place without a crane. Whatever they need to do, Lleu'll help, guided by those with the most building experience. He gives Skully a nod, then looks for Hjalmar. Donnachaidh hears about the couch though and sticks his head out, "Tinlin, don't burn the couch. It'll put off nasty, tainted fumes from the foam. We can dismantle it and burn the frame and cloth if you like and haul the foam away for reuse or something."

Sean is helping, too! he has a huge load in hand and he heads over to the firepit, looking through things before he tosses them in, sniffing a couple of things even! A few things get set aside because, ya know, chemicals and all that shit. He nods to Lleutrim's words. "Yeah, not the couch. We can break that up into bits, though, and cart it off.

"Infact .. if the couch is just ugly but still useable, I bet the Bonegnawers would come and get it. Somebody can always reapolster it." Suggests Lleutrim, who has not examined it in any detail, "If the frame and the foam aren't in too bad a shape."

"Couple of us in Crinos can get it up an' over without fuss," Skully replies to Lleu with a shrug, rolling his eye. "Stop thinkin' like such an ape, Little Brother. Jeez. He's right about the couch, though; better off if we strip it down an' see what we can toss, what we can burn, an' what we gotta take to the dump. There're ways an' means to handle it all on the cheap, though; ain't gotta keep thinkin' like we's some low-rent construction crew doin' shit humans do. That's jus' stupid." The big Metis heads to the scrap pile, picking out huge chunks of cleanly-burnable material and stacking them up on his shoulder until he's got a huge fucking armload, then hauling them over to the firepit. "Did I hear right, Miz Tinlin, that your friends done abandoned you? That ain't nice. 'Specially with you bein' a stranger 'round here. Sorry that happened. Glad you got her back, Sean; good on you, keepin' a lookout."

Tinlin does look behind her to make sure Sean is still with her. He's been helping her all along and most likely she's been handing him the heavier things. "Why do people put so many chemicals in things? I doubt any of the beams were truly treated or they would smell outrageous, aye?" She looks at Lleutrim when the couch is mentioned a few more times. "It smells like something died in it. I swear an old Norseman lived in the cabin long before, an liked ta never bathe. Like ever." She cracks a grin. "The bonegnawers can 'ave at it." Her head turns to nod to Skully's question, and she stares a bit as she watches the giant carry all the timber debris over to the pit. "Many of those girls have a lot of money and know the city. I'm sure they forgot I was in the changing room because I took so long."

Sean shakes his head. "I can't take any credit for getting her back, Skully, so that's my bad. I just assumed that she would be able to find them." His jaw clenches a little bit. He's not happy with those girls. He's still picking up stuff, being selective about what goes into the pit. "If it smells that bad, just destroy it. Be a better chance of offending them if you give them something gross. If it was just old, that'd be different." Then back to the girls. He drops his pile with a little thud. "'I'm sure they just forgot me'" He shakes his head. "I have forgotten my keys, I've forgotten my shoes, I've forgotten where I parked my car. I have never forgotten a human or a Garou who was out of my sight."

Lleutrim stops and looks back to Skully. He looks at the other and almost says something, then instead says, "You are right, Skully. Though, you don't have to be a douchebag about it and call me stupid." Yeah, he eyes the Ahroun for being a dick. He turns and goes back to helping with the cleanup. He won't bother with anymore suggestions to try to be you know, helpful or something.

"Yeah, I ain't got a lot of friends what up an' run off on me that I still call 'friends'," Skully replies to Tinlin as he walks past her, shrugging slightly before tossing his armload down on the burn pile. "But then, I ain't got a lot'a friends, so they's easy to keep track of. Anyhow, wasn't nice of 'em. Sean's a good sort, though; ain't never known 'im to be less'n kind. An' you got Hjalmar, who's always a jolly sort. So that's not a bad start." He nods to her, giving her a broad, guileless smile before tromping back to the scrap pile and selecting more burnable wood while setting aside the treated wood and other useless scrap. "Tarps'll keep the rain off but ain't gonna make it no warmer in there. I've slept rougher, but then, curlin' up as a wolf is jus' warm in general. You got somewhere else to stay for the night, Tinlin? S'gonna be real cold there." When Lleutrim gets his back up, Skully frowns and holds up his hands. "Sorry, sorry, man; I's jus' sayin' that wasn't thinkin' past the problem, ain't meant to imply /you/ was stupid. Wasn't directed at you in particular. Sorry." He sighs, shaking his head, and goes back to picking out scrap.

Tinlin is the slowest at adding her debris to the pile. She moves next to Sean so he can check her items for her and one by one they go into the fire pit. "Then maybe those girls asked me to go out with them shopping because they wanted to be mean. No one wants to think that of anyone, but Hjalmar is a Philodox. If he wishes ta speak with them, then he can. I certainly dinnae want to draw more attention and make things worse." She'll offer to light the bonfire once its ready to burn. She gives pause as Skully and Lleutrim seem to cross words and her green eyes quickly look over at Sean to see if he caught it too. If things simmer down, she shake her head no to Skully. "I don't have another place to stay. I do have a sleeping bag."

Sean nods. "That could be. And if they're all kin, I'll find someone to speak to them about how things should be done in public. It'd be one thing if they ran off someplace safe - like the kinfolk house. There are people there who could get you home or whatever. You're on safe grounds. But when you're left alone in a city where you don't know pe--" He pauses. Just stops. JUST FUCKING STOPS. And he takes a couple of breaths, then sorts through Tin's stuff. "Good. Perfect." Oh, he's mad. Not raging mad, but yeah. He also glances over at Lleutrim and Skully and then back to Tin and shakes her head. "It's cool. And when we're all done here, I'll take you to the kinfolk house. You can sleep there for a night. How's that sound? You'll be inside. I'd offer to let you stay at my place, but I got some gossipy bitches for neighbors." A little grin over at Lleutrim to see if maybe that'll lighten the mood a little.

Donnachaidh isn't angry. Merely irritated for that moment and then let it go. Lleu's set to working on picking out wood that looks burnable. Most of what they took off of the roof should be easily, unless they want to hold out any tar based products. "Once this is burned, we can pick out the nails and drop them off for recycling." That is offered to Sean quietly. He offers Tinlin a bit of a smile, "I doubt they mean any ill by it." The Galliard gives a nod to what Sean says about it. A smirk for the 'gossipy bitches for neighbors' part as he hauls a big piece of plywood. It looks like Skully got a lot of the nails out of it already, very good.

"Yeah, 'bout half the nails or so are already in my tool belt," Skully says to Lleutrim as he pats the bulging grab-pouch where he's been dropping them. "I tried to snag as many as I could so's they don't end up all over the lawn an' whatnot. Folk tend to overlook 'em." He shrugs, sifting out a lot of the unburnable junk to make its own pile, and looking back up at the house before turning his eye on Lleu. "I really didn't mean to say as you were stupid, jus'... jus' that we'd'a been wastin' time. Wasn't directed at you, really." He sounds chagrined, but leaves it at that, sighing and looking back to Tinlin and Sean. "Yeah, you should consider stayin' at the Kinhouse, it's a good place to wait out roof repairs. An' yeah, I'm sure they ain't meant to be bad about it at all, but it was still thoughtless. Thoughtless hurts, too." Sounds like maybe he's telling /himself/ that as much as anything.

<UMBRA> A sudden crunch as a flying winged crinos impacts into the ground, and is on his feet in a flash, pointing one claw along his target trajectory, <<YOU MOTHERFU>> He looks around at the spiders and gestures, calming the spiders back into their work, looking around, and growling, sneaking outside the boundries of the room itself to the other side of the door. Knock knock from the door.

Tinlin crouches down to light the fire and a flame steadily flows over the debris piled up as she lightly blows at it. She cups her hands just right to keep any wind off where she is working the flame, and then it ignites and steadily burns smaller pieces to catch onto larger ones. The work done she eases back a little to sit on the ground and she gently rubs at the back of her neck. 'Before it gets dark I'll pack a small bag if you will show me the way.' She looks up at the two Fianna and then Wendigo. Hjalmar is somewhere around the property still, along with Kohana.

Sean sits back as well, near Tinlin, and he nods. "Of course. We'll get you there safe and proper. It's not TOO far from here, but it'll probably be dark by the time we're all done." SOME people won't leave a goddamn kinfolk alone in the fucking wooargleflarglesnarkinternalragestupidstupidgirlsomgwtffbicia!!! Sean might have opinions

Lleutrim thumbs up to Skully, "Helpful, thanks." Still he'll be careful hauling things so not to get torn up by any remaining nails. "We can use a magnet rake to skim for them later on the ground." An upnod to the other, "Don't worry about it. I know I think too much like a man." He continues to pick up things to bring over, sorting into piles to be hauled off for the dump, a pile for any recycling, and another for burning. Quietly, under his breath, Lleu starts to sing soft and low as he works, some tune in his head he doesn't inflict on the others.

Hjalmar comes back from a walk in search of a fitting beam. Although there's no luck in that search. Upon reaching the house again he shakes his head again. "I will try and contact Rhea again... Just hope she's available now." And with that, he takes out his cellphone.

Sean also lifts his head to look toward the door. "Um... Come... in?"

Skully blinks and looks at the door, then at the folks on the lawn, then at the door again. "Umm... wasn't anybody in there," he says quietly, looking a tad nervous and moving to put himself between the Kinfolk and the house, making a little 'get back' gesture with one hand.

Journey opens the door, stepping through, and turning, looking at the door, swinging it on its hinges and then letting go and stepping away. Waaaaatch iiiiiittttt cloooooooose. Click. It latches. Journey pushes on the door, and nods. Turning, "Good door. Hello."

Tinlin peers over at Sean as he makes strange gargling noises or fits under his breath regarding the situation. It is all a bit odd but she stares back with her green eyes growing just a bit wider. Nope, he's not as strange as the knock come from the cabin door on the inside. She turns to look the other way. "Did reality just take a side blow or what?" The red haired kin tosses another piece of untreated wood onto the fire and it sends a few sparks flying upward. "I did appreciate you walking me home last evening, Sean. The forest was dark and it was a really long walk back from the party." Suddenly she grows quiet when Skully makes the motion to shush.

"Oh, it's fuckin' /Shaderunner/," Skully says loudly, sighing in relief, then frowns. "Sorry, sir. I mean, hello, Shaderunner-rhya. I's worried somethin' nefarious was up. Glad I's wrong." He smiles weakly, reaching up to rub the back of his neck, and just steps away, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a cigar. Can't say somethin' smart? Stop talkin'. He snips the end off with a clipper, then pulls out some wood matches, leaning against the wall of the house and lighting it. Enough dumb words for one day.

When Journey steps out, Sean relaxes, then looks back to Tinlin. "It's Shaderunner, Elder Strider," he tells Tinlin, then smiles. "I wouldn't have things any other way, Tinlin. I don't expect people to wander around in the woods by themselves in unfamiliar environments. Only teensy bits of grumble. He's still pretty mad about that and will probably talk to those girls himself. "Afternoon, Shaderunner."

With these reactions, Hjalmar looks up from the phone. A brow raised in wonder and a curious look on his face. "What?" And then a wild Journey appears. "Uh.. Hello?" He looks at Skully and back to Journey. "Welcome Journey. Had not expected you to come from /that/ direction."

Donnachaidh also stopped to look back, taking a cue from Skully's and everyone else's reaction to just be ready for strange and possibly bad shit. But it's just Journey doing his usual thing. Lleu laughs, "Hey, Shaderunner-rhya." A nod to Sean, "Thanks for doing that. Sorry I missed you at the party, Tinlin. It was a great party."

Sean gives Tinlin's arm a little pat. "I'll be right back." He hops up to his feet and jogs off somewhere. maybe he just needs to pee "I apologize, Shaderunner-rhya" Then he runs off to pee.

Journey looks at Skully, "Nono, that was correct, refer to me in the third person to others without the suffix, when speaking -to me- use the suffix." He points to Sean, "Like he didn't, but that's the European upbringing in him." He looks at Sean, and points more, "Also, wrong thing to say when a knock comes from a suspect portal. Request Identification, Do NOT give permission to enter." He waggles a finger at Sean, then in the next breath, is on to something else, as if playing mental hopscotch. "This is good, what are you using for a foundation?" He jumps down and starts looking for the side foundations, inspecting the build.

"Umm... you were inside, sir; you're entering /the world/," Skully murmurs around his cigar, puffing mildly to himself and shrugging. Journey is crazier than a shithouse rat; there's not really much point in trying to correct him. He just puff-puff-puffs away, and comments to Tinlin, "Sorry 'bout gettin' all hackled there. Somethin' unexpected happens an' we all tend to tense up like it's the end'a the world. Didn't mean to startle you none."

Tinlin looks up from where she's sitting by the fire and she smiles gently over at Journey. Her red hair is wound up into a top knot where she's folded in a tiny version of a chopstick that is an obvious talen. Her green eyes look Journey up and down as if trying to remember if she's seen him before. A smile touches her lips when Donnachaidh mentions the party. "I wanted to hear your music and I am sad I missed out on that. Most of the food was gone by the time I got there, but maybe next time." Sean getting up distracts her for a second, but she's patient enough to wait for him to return. "Hello," she offers. "I am Tinlin O'Malley, kin to the fianna." She nods to Skully, "I thought the cabin was haunted by the Norseman who used to live here for a moment there."

Journey looks to Skully, and nods, "Mmhmm, well said, it was me, but could have been anything." He agrees with Skully and looks to Tinlin, and smiles, "Yes, good to see you again, I hope you're settling in, looks like you've found the.." He gestures around, "Gang." He looks around, "But OH! Um." He takes a second, looking around, then back, "No, nuuuuuu." He looks straight up and chuckles looking back, "You're ghost free as hell here."

Khol comes back up from getting a few things together to help speed up the repair work on the roof. Looking to see how things went while he was gone.

Journey is listened to because the etiquette concerning the rhya part is good to clarify. Lleutrim pauses to watch the others, trying to sort out that permission to enter part and stepping outside. He doesn't comment until he smiles a little at Tinlin, "It's all right. Come by our cabins sometime. Sean and I would be pleased to have you visit the Caern and hang out with us." Another glance back to Journey, "Ghost free?"

Hjalmar smiles at Journey. "Like I said, welcome. The foundation is what was used by the one building the house itself. I only just aquired it. And well.. It was needing quite some work." He points at the roof, well the emptiness where a roof should have been. "We just demolished the old roof in order to make a new one. The window frames have been repaired already, just like most of the outer walls. And the door ofcourse." He smiles and walks over to Tinlin. A gentle hand is put on her shoulder. "How about we get something like a BBQ ready for when today's work is gone?"

"He'd be the one who'd know," Skully comments to Journey's statement that no, there are no ghosts, even if Skully ain't afraid of no ghosts anyhow. He puffs away on his cigar, sighing softly, and doesn't attempt to interject or insert himself into the dialogue for the moment.

Tinlin appears relieved there are no ghosts here after disturbing the old cabin and half wrecking it to rebuild. It's true, she looks back at Journey as if he were indeed a strange one, but then her impish green eyes alight with laughter. "Thank you for checking." Her smile moves over to Lleutrim and the direction Sean went to pee in. "I don't know the way to your cabins but a bit of wanderlust here and there sometimes moves me to explore." Which often gets her in trouble. "Aye, I have found my tribesmen. And I 'ave also found a Johanna, Starchaser'rhya, who I hope returns soon." She pokes the fire with a salvaged stick that fell out of the bonfire. It is burning bright now and she glances up at Hjalmar once he touches her shoulder. "I am the world's worst cook but I do know how to make sandwhiches. BBQ? Is that where Americans slather on the sauce and toss it over the fire?" She slowly rises, as now she's been given a task.

"Oh, barbecue ain't so hard," Skully offers, stepping away from the wall and patting Hjalmar on the back. "We got what we need? Meat, grill, rub, any'a that? I mean, I got stuff at home, but not enough to feed everyone; most'a that went to the party, though... huh. Lots'a that still left over. I s'pose I could go get it. Ain't gonna get eaten otherwise, an' I hate to cook jus' for a trash bin."

Journey nods to Lleu as he turns, "Yeah." He says, confirming Lleus question, and looks to Hjalmar, nodding. "I-" He looks back to the build, "Who was it had this?" He frowns, looking at it, mystified, and reaches down, picking up some dirt and rubs it betwenn his fingers, examining it, staring at it on his fingertips, then, yep, you called it, he tastes his index fingertip, then spits silently, to the side, "Foundation problems are repairable, if there are any." He seems half tuned out of the food talk, and is looking at the house, speculatively.

Hjalmar smiles at Tinlin. "No worries. We are with enough people that are able to work the grill in you stead." He winks at her. "ANd I guess that some do it that way, yes." Then to Skully. "Sounds good. I'd hate it as well if it would dissapear in a trashbin. And yes. I do have some meats in the fridge. Got some from Libs's store." Then to Journey. "I truly do not know Journey. I got this house through Tormod before he well... Yeah.. So I never had the time to ask about it." He raises his brow at the ritual Journey performs in order to test whatever it is he tests?

Tinlin looks between Skully and Hjalmar as they discuss where the food is coming from. She's fairly new here, "Where's the grill kept, Hjalmar?" If it was kept outside, she hopes it's far away from the cabin or it's going to need a serious cleaning after they threw all the roof debris about. She then looks to Skully, "Would you like to help me?" The smaller fianna kin doesn't look so afraid to ask if he knows what he's doing. "I can show you where everything is inside, but as for the grill... that may need work." A smile is given to Hjal and then she's waiting on Skully, to see if he'll follow her.

Khol smiles a little "Seems like you still have quite a gathering. " he offers "I got some braces so we can prepare a proper crest vent for your new roof. It will help keep the damp out and the air flowing. It is a lot better than some of the old ways." he smiles and moves to go back to work, not wanting to interupt the other conversations.

Journey rounds on Hjalmar, "Tormod?!" Alarmed, he then turns and dives, shifting, hitting the ground on paws and starts REALLY sniffing the ground, nose down, working. <Now I am glad I landed..> He looks up, ears working, looking into the sky, <Very funny> And back down sniffing, <Okay, Let me go over it again.>

Shaderunner shifts and flows down into the form of a Jackal.

"Easy to find. Exit the Caern and go east. If you don't find our cabins right off, then head a little south. But I think it's mostly due east and not far at all (One grid room). The little cabins are hidden in the forest for the least visual impact but if you know to look for them you can find them." Lleutrim adds more to the sorting piles as well as to the fire. "Or one of us could meet you at the Caern. We come out to the Kinfolk house often too, which isn't far from here. Just a little north along the edge of the forest along the road towards town."

"Skully's a great cook. He could show you how." Anything you lack, I could text Ghost to pick up for you on his way back." Ghost-on-Water should be getting back from the first dump run soon. Lleu pauses once more in the work to watch Journey who is endlessly interesting to observe.

Lleutrim cautiously asks, "What was wrong with Tormod?"

Tinlin leans over and asks Lleu, "Who is Tormod?" The directions to the cabins are noted by her memory, "I'll try and stop by once the chores are done here tomorrow if you like. If that's okay with you to accept visitors." She is walking to the cabin now to prepare dinner for everyone. "Thank you again, Khol. It's going to look very nice once it's all done."

"Yeah, I got ya, I can help. Lead on, ma'am, an' I'll handle the rest. I do a lot'a cookin'." Skully shrugs, favoring Tinlin with a slight smile, and makes sure to keep his cigar smoke away from her -- not hard, from way up high. He gives Lleu a grin at the voucher for his skills, but says to Tinlin, "Folks just like it that they ain't gotta cook on account I always volunteer. Everyone says you're a good chef so long as it means they ain't gotta cook food." He shrugs, grinning teasingly, and gestures for her to lead on.

A *massive* truck comes in with a covered trailer. A handsome dark haired kinfolk is backing it up to the area, and soon Rhea climbs out the cab. "I was messaged for a trans[port. I wasn't told what, so thought rather too much than not enough," she says with a giggle. Coming out with her is Dre in a red t-shirt and jeans. Rhea's in a blue and white striped shirt, jeans, and some white, if slightly dirty, tennis shoes. "What needs help moving? I can get teh rest of the Clan on out if needed, as well!" she chirps cordially.

Shaderunner snorfles and snurfles, <Silent Strider. He was working on his own things. Now I know this was Tormod's, I know what I'm looking for.> Snurfsnorf. He's sniffing around the area, focused. At the sound of the engine, he's gone, hiding till the Logosmobile identifies itself, then he comes out and returns to sniffing.

An absent nod to Tinlin, "I only met Tormod ... twice I think. He owned a gun shop and also a cabin building business. Faith knew him but I didn't, really. That was right before my First Change." Yeah, Lleu is curious what Shaderunner is doing. He glances back to Skully and chuckles, "I'm not a horrible cook myself. But you are a lot better." The Galliard turns his head at the sound of a truck but it's not Ghost-on-Water returning with his pickup, yet. Wow, backing up a big truck is hard here, but with a trailer on it too? Rhea must have some serious driving skill.

Tinlin shoves open the cabin window from inside the kitchen. There's no roof on the cabin, but she does wave out the window as the big truck pulls up. "That must be Rhea. Hjalmar said he was going to call her for help with the lumber," she explains to Skully. The two are in the kitchen prepping food for a BBQ to help feed all the workers. "Now wha' goes where?" She asks the Wendigo giant in her Scottish lilt. They are busy at work mixing spices.

Dre is in some cleaning clothes, and the shoes he has on, yes he is actually wearing shoes. They are old and beat up, he looks around and watches the others for a moment before walking along with Rhea over to the others, "Where do you need me at?" he asks as he looks to see what he can help with

Khol just climbs on up into the rafters, and he begins to replace the crest board, with an elevated vent crest. Lifting the crest up about 6 inchers, so there can be a vent once this is all done. He seems content to work and is focused on that for the moment.

Shaderunner sniffs around the area, inspecting the local surrounding landscaping, pausing and peering at a spot on the ground, then looks around then back to the ground.

Skully takes stock of what Hjalmar has and what he can use in a pinch, grabbing black pepper, cayenne, brown sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder, mustard seed, cumin.... "Huh, he's got a surprisin' spice rack," Skully murmurs to himself, shaking his head and starting to mix the spices together. "Okay, ma'am, once this is mixed we're gonna rub it into the meat we got here an' then grill it, simple Simon. Ain't gonna be no legendary feast, but ain't gonna taste like dimestore grit, neither. Main thing is to know what tastes like what when you mix it, which... I mean, I guess is jus' experience, but normally you ain't wanna use this many ingredients 'less you know how they's gonna go, which I do." He looks aside at the Kinfolk newcomer, brows beetling for a moment, then looks back at his work, finishing the spice mix. "Okay, so that's that. Time to massage some dead animal."

Rhea walks over to watch Skully cook, the rub does smell yummy, after all, and nothing like a good live action cooking show to go with the repairs to really make things interesting. She tries her darndest to keep clear, though, mostly ensuring a clear path to the truck, phone in hand should they ask for the extra help.

When Rhea comes near, Skully gives her a big, broad grin, stepping back and leaning over to give her an affectionate peck on the cheek before going back to his work. "Miz Rhea's one'a the nicest ladies I know," the big Metis says to Tinlin in that baritone rumble, working on preparing food carefully alongside the newcomer Kin. "Really wealthy, but does ever'thin' she can to help other folks. Miz Vesta's the same; rich, but generous. That's Shaderunner's wife. You'll meet everyone eventually, ma'am, I'm sure."

Shaderunner looks around and continues his sniffing sweep of the area, inspecting the area with focused care.

Khol is pretty deft, getting the frame repaired. The next thing he does is attaches a set of 1/2 inch grid wiring down each side, to keep critters out. As he does that he asks "Who is operating the Saws down there to cut the Plywood for the roofing?" he smiles a bit "Because its time to get this roof going back on."

Dre walks over to where the work is being done, he nods to Shaderunner, Dre makes his way over to Khol and Hjalamr. "What ya need me to do?" he asks as he picks up a few things to throw into the recycling.

Hjalmar comes back after inventarising the stuff Rhea brought with her. A hug is given to her as he walks up to her. "Alright Rhea. Looks like all is there. Though we might be short on shingles. Although, I am not yet sure." He turns to where Khol might be found. "Khol! How many packets of shingles did you say we needed?" He looks to Tinlin and smiles. "Skully's absolutely right about those things. They are indeed very kind and generous people. And I am glad to know them." Then back up at Khol. "I would have loved to. But I am not that good with powertools as I never really use them." Then a look to Dre as the man comes up asking this. "Dre. You any good with these machines?"

Now most of the scrap debris has been sorted, Ghost-on-Water returns with his pickup truck. He'll park whereever he can get in closest and start loading up more for another trip to the dump. Meanwhile, Lleutrim looks up at Khol, "I can opporate a saw but I'm not super crafty. Somebody needs to help with measurements, then I can rip the plywood for you easily enough and get it handed up." And find some goggles!

Tinlin is in the kitchen massaging the meat as Skully directs her to do and she is adding all the spices in a special blend. She peers up at Rhea and offers her a gentle smile. "Hello. Thank you for coming out ta help." The red headed kin is visiting from out of town, and a new face here at the cabin.

Khol calls back down as he continues tacking the Wire in place "About 35.. That should cover it. and leave you some replacements if you have a wind sotrm or any issues."

Rhea blushes and hugs the big mook's neck. "I'm sure you say that about all the kinfolk girls, you big cutie," she says with a laugh. She nods to Tinlin. "Pleasure's mine. I was just asked to bring a truck, so I did. I wasn't told for what," she says with a giggle. "Smells lovely in here!"

Shaderunner comes back around, <Okay fine.> He growls, and snaps up into Homid, looking at the stuff, "Who'se doing what?" He asks, looking around as the materials.

Journey swiftly changes into a human being.

Johanna had to run off earlier, she almost forgot to go check in on a kinfolk she has been assisting on and off since July with her cubs, and finally has returned back. She blinks a moment, stunned with how many people are here, and those she does not remember being here before. It will take her a moment to work her way back in and determine where is safe and whatnot.

Skully gives Rhea a broad grin, but his attention is on the cooking, which is fortunate for the participating diners. "Yeah, pretty easy, jus' like that," he comments to Tinlin, showing her how it's done and guiding her along, occasionally leaning in to offer a suggestion or exchange a bit of dialogue. The food is shaping up; time to apply heat. "Gonna need a grill.

Dre chuckles, "Yeah I am. Defends the Weak-Rhya always had me working on things at his house and barn." he says to Skully as he walks over to Skully, "What needs to be done and I will do what I can. I'm not the best but I can get the work done." he states.

"With all the fire hazzards Southern California has, I'm surprised you aren't going with a tin roof. Though, I know they cost more." Not mind you that Lleu has money to pitch in. He finds a pair of goggles and he'll get the measurements from Khol on what he needs the plywood cut to, "Hey, Dre. Maybe you can help me mark and rip the boards? It's a two man job anyway. Marking, cutting, then taking them up to the roof." Lleu doesn't care which does what, they can work together and get it rolling.

Johanna hears the asking about a grill, and she walks over to where there is a large item covered around the side of the house. She removes the cover and voila! Walking back she peers around the corner. "Someone looking for a Grill? I found one all covered up, but it looks good!" She gestures with her hands that it is thisaway!

Tinlin takes the seasoned meat in a tray over to Hjalmar. She knows he was making a makeshift grill for them to cook on. "Hjalmar, we're ready to get this going if you are." She smiles at him, "I'm enjoying all the people here." She leans in to whisper this. "But if the roof isn't on in one night there's no pressure, right?" She asks her clansman, "The others say I can stay at the kinfolk house if needed, if it gets too cold at night." Suddenly, she turns to look where Johanna is, and does a turnabout to beeline it in her direction. "Excellent find, Starchaser'rhya."

Khol will call down measurements for each of the cuts needed for the roof. He seems to be enjoying the work.

Journey looks up at the building, at the roofless building, and tilts his head, looking around, moving to pick up a hammer, looking at Hjalmar and Lleu, pointing at the building, "I'm gonna take a look." He goes over and starts Spider-Man climbing up the building, crawling UP the side of the cabin, waving at thems in the kitchen and climbing on up to the top, inspecting the torn up areas of the structure where the roof was. "I can get started up here."

Rhea, having no build experience, just decides to watch and look pretty, making a few calls on her phone. "It can be done *tonight*. Gimme a few minutes. I'll get the boys." She seems so calm and confident as she begins making a call.

Tinlin gapes at Journey's spiderwall climbing and forgets to put the meat on the grill. She pauses to get the grill lit and then smiles back to Johanna. "Everyone here is so strange. I thought I was weird, but now I really know who's weird." She laughs, suddenly feeling better about fitting in.

Hjalmar nods at Lleu and Dre. "Sounds good! I will leave this part up to the two of you then." He then looks to Tinlin as she comes to him and tells him this. "Sounds good! I will quickly set one up with the rocks here." Then at the next part, he raises his brow. "Ofcourse there's no pressure... We can." He then sighs and nods. "I am sure that there will be place there, ofcourse. Then again." And he looks at her with a very warm smile. "I am sure that we can cuddle up well enough to keep ourselves warm tonight. Besides, we need to make sure that nothing happens to the house if the roof is not yet up." And before he can say more, Johanna calls out about having found a grill. And of is Tinlin! He just shakes his head and replies to Johanna, "Truly? Convenient! I was already planning on making something myself for now. But let us clean that one up and use it!" Hjalmar's attention is then drawn to the spider Journey.. "What the..." He shakes his head and sighs deeply. "Sounds good I guess!"

"Oh, hey, you found the grill!" Skully says with a broad smile to Johanna, carrying his own tray of prepared meat for the barbecue, and leans over to kiss the top of Jo's head. "Nice work! Saved a TON of trouble. Jus' gotta get it burnin' is all. Sounds like Khol's got the foreman job handled up there, so I got time to keep my eye on the food." Tinlin gets the grill lit, and Skully watches Journey climb the house, shaking his head and muttering, "I have seen some shit." He focuses instead in getting meat cooking over the fire, because <skip a bunch of steps to get to this part already> and hums to himself, happy in the role of chef.

Lleutrim has seen Journey do this before, very recently! Last night, infact. The former Marine Captain just grins, using a measuring tape and a lazer guide to help him mark the plywood. With Dre's help, they are getting the sheet board marked, then firing up the table saw to start ripping. It does mean that a lot more noise suddenly errupts with the sound of the saw eating away at the wood.

Sean comes wandering back.

Johanna smiles, so glad she could end up helping! Following with the two cooks, she says, "If I can help in anyway, maybe just hold something for you, let me know. And if things do not get finished tonight, Tinlin, you are welcome at my home. We have plenty of space, extra rooms, and all." Nice a safe with a Garou and her mate, and food, and warmth, etc. "And we have a pool if you ever want to go swimming."

Journey starts focusing on the structure, using the hammer to tighten up some loose nails from the removal of the house, checking the wood, the kind of shit you'd do if you had the ability to just crawl on the walls and go look. He slips the hammer into his satchel and crawls along the structure, preparing it for the addition of the new wood. He's adhering to the building, Spider-Man style. With a hammer.

Tinlin helps clean up the grill and if she's not too messy she does lean over and hugs Rhea. "Thank you. You are very kind and so generous!" Her green eyes soften as she looks at the other kin. "I simply will nah worry over a thing," the scottish fianna tells her and Johanna. "All will be well." The meat starts to get put on the grill and soon the aroma of flavor is all over the front yard. Spice, the delicious aroma of Skully's spice entices appetites.

Khol nods to Journey and offers "You are likely the best to hold things in place while we get the lower plywood in place.. if your willing, Once the first sheets are ready." he asks the Garou.

"Oh, don't go anywhere, no, I'll want your help," Skully replies to Johanna, holding up a hand and getting things settled. "Umm... in the kitchen is a bowl, with mixed spices; I'll want that, if'n you don't mind gettin' it. An' see about whether he's got tongs an' other grillin' tools in there?" He smiles at Johanna, adding, "I ain't bothered to check before. Sorry. Figures." Aside to Tinlin, the big Metis says, "Key here is makin' sure they cook even, which... I mean, if I gotta flip 'em by hand, I gotta, but that's why I asked Starchaser to check for grill tools. Gonna seal in that rub, let the meat cook it in, an' that'll be that. Jus' application'a fire to meat, pretty simple."

Journey nods to Khol, tugging on a board, satisfied that it's firmly in place, "That works for me." He crawls along, "Let me know where you want to start." He's here to help get this done. Apparently.

Hjalmar climbs back to the attic in order pull the finished pieces of wood up. "Alright. I will stand here and pull the stuff up that you guys have finished." He steadies himself. "Khol, Journey and I can then put them into their correct places.

Johanna nods, "I am on it!" She swiftly moves, light on her feet, on inside to look for all Skully has asked for. Bowl with spices - CHECK! Looking around, opening drawers ah ha! Tongs - CHECK! More grilling tools... hmm... she find a few options and brings them all out for Skully to check out. Quick like a bunny...or fox... or something - she makes her way back out to the grill and offers it all to Skully. "Here, this is what I found! I hope it all helps?"

After a bit, a large white bus drives up. About 20 men with dark hair and very mediterranean features come up. Speaking Greek and chattering, laughing, and one of the older ones smokes a cigar pointing angrily at another one. Reinforcements to do the menial support work while the normal kinfolk and Garou are the stars! Rhea beams in confidence, hugging the older man with the slight gut. "Uncle Alex, would you mind helping us get this roof up?" The pot bellied man identified as Uncle Alex smiles and laughs. "Of course, my lovely little niece! We brought lemonade. You take out and care for, eh?" he rumbles and pats her shoulder before guiding the men to be instructed in helping wherever's needed. That's the power of family! Rhea goes into the but, pulling out a huge chest filled with lemonade. Yum! Slowly, she drags the heavy container along the ground, leaving a dirt trail as she inches ever closer to the food.

Sean has his phone out, finger in his other ear. "What? I can't hear ye, mum." He turns a little, looking up, hoping maybe to catch a better signal. "No, no mum. I ca--" He sighs. "Mum, I'm in the middle of something, but I will call you back very soon, okay? I just cain't hear ye." Oh, the accent. It do come out when he's talking to people back home.

Hjalmar turns to the white bus that is coming up to his grounds. Aye.. The grass will need time to regrow propperly after all this abuse. But no worries about that now! He walks up to Rhea and the man she's greeting. "Welcome to this place.. Alex is was? I am Hjalmar." He extends his hand to the man. And if he takes it, he'll shake it. If not, or he sees Rhea dragging that container. He will quickly go to help her with it.

Dre nods and moves with Lleu to boards, seeing as he was asked about using the tools, "I will do the cutting if you measure things out for me Lleu." Dre says. He pulls up the sleeves of his shirt, he shakes his arms out a bit and looks over the tools and boards, "How many do they need and do you have the lengths?" he asks Lleu.

Khol will back off from 'doing ' as much as directing at this point. With this many people the biggest issue is keeping people from working over each other and getting in each others way. So he directs. But that does make the work go fast, as he has, effectively crews working over the whole roof now getting everyting fitted into place.

Tinlin watches Skully and Johanna playing with the grill and then she turns to watch Rhea and the bus load of people pull up. "I'll be right back," she tells the two by the grill. Her footsteps slowly take her over to Sean and she waits for him to finish with the phone. She sidesteps out of the way from some of the Greek kin moving through and she's amazed how quickly they all fall into line and work together.

Lleutrim gives Dre a nod, having posed cutting the first few already, "Got the measurements from Khol. Got several marked here ready for you to rip'm. Some of these guys just arrived can carry them up and you and I can focus just on marking and cutting. We'll get a lot done faster that way." Donnachaidh waves some of Rhea's kin to come over, "Lend us a hand, won't you? We're measuring and cutting but we could use help if people will carry the plywood up to Khol and Journey up there on the roof!"

"I love you too, mum. I'll call you back in an hour." Sean hangs up and sighs, then grins as Tinlin comes over. "Sorry I disappeared. I'm going to have to go to higher ground and call mum back here in a few, but I'm not LEAVING. Just so you know. I'll still take you wherever you wan tto go. Kinfolk house, my place, wherever."

Alex takes Hjalmar's hand. "A pleasure! Your home, I guess??" he asks with a warm smile and a very thick accent. "Rhea said good things about you. I like you already," the older man continues. He watches as Hjalmar goes to help Rhea, and the men seem to be going over to Khol to help.

The men begin to sing in Greek, building, hammering to the tunes and laughing with one another. A couple make comments looking at the women only to have Rhea scold them in Greek. It's like a family gathering almost. She smiles thankfully to Hjalmar as he takes the chest. Maybe it's easy for him, but he'll feel it's easily 150 pounds. Who *drinks* this much?!

"Perfect, perfect," Skully replies to Johanna with a broad grin, nodding deeply. "I's showin' Tinlin the basics'a barbecuin', on account /most/ of it is basics. Y'know, Tinlin, Starchaser's mate Khol is a darn good cook. Nice fella, too. I ain't know how settled you are here or not, but I know she said as you could stay with them, an' they're both awful nice. I'd make the same offer, but... I live at a forge, so it ain't really a house, an' there's lots'a folks there workin' an' such. Billy's pretty noisy. Gren ain't, but still. S'how it is there." He flips the thinner cuts, sprinkling a little more of the spices over them. He notes the arrival of the Greek Army, tilting his head to the side and looking over to Rhea, then shrugs and goes back to work on the food. When Tinlin excuses herself, he nods and says, "All right, you won't miss nuthin'."

Journey is in a unique position, climbing on the structure over the heads of the GroundWalkers so he can see EVERYTHING muahaha. em He crawls to the section of the roof where he's ready to take pieces that get handed up to get placed properly. Noticing Sean because of his hair he waves, then looks down, watching the people, ready to do this.

Dre sees some that are already cut, he checks the boards and nod his head. Hearing that some of Rhea's family is coming to help, he gestures but nods to Lleu, "Yeah the swill work." he says as he pulls up one of the boards and grabs a power saw and begin cutting once he has the board secured. He is careful about how he cuts and the smell of the wood does cause him to remember the work he's been doing at his Elders home. A thought comes to him, but he puts it on the back burner for now.

Tinlin can't help but secretly grin when she listens to Sean lovin' his mama back. "I thought you had nosey neighbors?" She checks on him to make sure he's okay. "It's fine. I see you not abandoning your kin and making the point stick. Lesson learned." She gestures to where Rhea is with the lemonade, "With her kin coming over she thinks the roof will be done tonight. And now I have quite a few offers to stay with Rhea, and now Starchaser'rhya's house. And maybe not the noisy forge Skully stays in, but everyone is really nice and supportive." The lilt to her voice is still there yet eases up at the end. "No worries about any little thing now." She smiles back at him and leans in to whisper.

Hjalmar shakes the hand of Alex and nods. "Aye! That it is." He grins. "That so? Glad to hear!" And indeed, off he is, helping Rhea. After he's done, he walks around the house, seeing who is working on what, and where. A satisfied nod and he walks up to Tinlin upon seeing her with Sean. "Hey Tinlin! Look at all these people working on our home." He turns to gesture at the beehive of activity. "Amazing, is it not? How many people came over to help?" He smiles broadly and looks back to her and Sean as well, seeing them whisper. He cocks his head at it but continues his happy talking as he's clearly quite stoked about the progression. "Awesome to see how fast the work progresses.. The roof will be on there in no time." He then proceeds to give her a big hug if she allows.

Sean grins at Tinlin and whispers something back, then, "I do have nosy neighbors, yes. But it's Lleutrim and I'll just call up a bunch of squirrel spirits and tie him to the bed -- again -- if he gives me shit for offering hospitality." He smirks. "But you stay wherever you're most comfortable. You ARE my kin and I want to make sure you're safe. So whatever you decide." He nods to Hjalmar, looking over him at the house and then back to the other Fianna again. "Anything need done inside? I'm pretty good at changing door locks and stuff."

Board's being laid and the Logos men are coordinating under Khol's guidance. He was here first, and he seems to know what he's doing, so that makes him in charge! Simple enough for the Gaia-loyal family men.

Rhea smiles to Tinlin. "The spa has some extra rooms. You can relax in peace and quiet, enjoy a pampering session of your choosing, and feel refreshed, ready to serve Gaia as She saw fit for you." she tells the woman with a smile. "We are always eager to please." She smiles looking around. "At least you guys have a job. I'm a fish out of water here."

Sean motions toward Rhea when she speaks. "You should stay there tonight regardless, maybe. Just take a day off.

Sean's giving him shit again and Lleu turns his head and laughs, "You keep those fuck'n squirrels away from me. Little shits stole my beloved Panhead motorcycle, Tinlin - and everything else I owned. Didn't even leave me clothes by the time they were done. Thankfully the guitar case was too big for them to run off with through a window." He keeps measuring and marking boards as fast as Dre can cut them. They are all of them going to be pretty hungry by the time the food is ready.

From the truck, Ghost-on-Water speaks up, "Don't forget, got your guitar in here if you want to play music tonight, Lleu." Himself? The Ragabash is drinking a beer now the pickup truck is loaded again.

Hjalmar listens and nods at Sean. "Aye. Indeed, keeping our Kin safe is important indeed. And our Fianna ways demand the offer of hospitality. Hence I already gave her mine." He smiles at him. "Now, for the next question. Aye. I think the front door still needs a good lock." He puts a hand on the man's shoulder and leans in to whisper something before walking on to find another place to help at.

Skully flips and grills and spices and does checks, keeping things cooking and moving along. Catching yet another offer, he turns to Johanna and says, "Everyone's in such a rush to be nice they're gonna start fightin' over who gets to take her. Must be nice. Hope she's not too shy to pick what she wants rather'n what seems easiest." He shrugs, putting an arm around Johanna's shoulders and giving her an affectionate squeeze. "Thanks again for trackin' all this stuff down. Good work. He have any salad fixin's in there? I thought I saw some. Might need to throw some sides together real quick."

Tinlin laughs as she listens to the other fianna talking about squirrels running off with precious belongings. She looks a bit nervous at the attention and mention of the house, but she does mention gently, "I'm glad you have a new homestead and a place you can work with all the bees to make your meade, Hjalmar. But remember, I can't stay forever. I wandered out here to make sure ye were alrigh' and that the fates were treating you well. It is a beautiful home, and I am sure with so many wonderful friends that you'll fill it with love, kindness, and fianna hospitality." She reminds him, "My family expects me to return by New Years Eve. A Midlothian celebration we have every year means family comes in from all over. I am expected. But you will 'ave my help with the meade until then."

Rhea laughs. "Stay here?" she asks, looking around. "Our work is never over. Ask Dre and Skully. I goof off enough as it is," she comments to Sean. "But if you'd prefer, I could, sure."

Journey nods and starts helping placing the materials. He's not worried about who'se sleeping where for how long, he's working. reaching down and gripping pieces with an eerie stickness of his grip, he carefully works to help build the roof.

Sean's brow arches high at Hjalmar's whisper. "I'm sorry, WHAT?" Sean blinks a time or two, honestly taken aback, but then his MOUTH kicks in gear. He holds up a finger to Rhea in a 'just a moment please' gesture and then speaks aloud -- not LOUDLY, but certainly not in a whisper -- to Hjalmar. "I'm not trying to CLAIM anybody. I ran into this girl yesterday who had been abandoned in town by other kinfolk. She's Fianna. We protect our kin. And next time you say something like that to me, bubba, you better be prepared to make an official challenge."

Tinlin didn't get to hear the exchange between Hjalmar and Sean, but she does look to where the safest place is at the moment. Garou can have tempers and she quietly takes a step back and moves to the grill where the giant Wendigo stands, as well as Johanna, the Adren. Nope, not a word this one. She returns to being shy for now.

Rhea smiles at Sean as he loudly denies Hjalmars claims, shaking her head. Some of the guys on the roof laugh and chatter something in Greek clearly in response to Sean's protests. Rhea invites Tinlin to sit with her and pours her a glass of lemonade, mildly amused at the antics.

He turns to Tinlin as she talks to him and smiles warmly. "I know Tinlin. I know. And I am indeed glad to have been surprised by your visit and your worries. And know that my door, shall forever be open to you." He nods at the statement he just made. Then there's Sean. He turns to the man and keeps smiling. Not really taken aback by the man's response. "If I was wrong in the assumption. My apppologies. But since you decided to shout things out like this. Alright. I made my Kin a promise. A promise to not have anyone here make a claim on her." He shrugs. "And since I keep noticing you offering her to go for dinner and places to stay, even if you already know. At least by now. That she's staying with someone already. A Fianna even. Something that is not really a nice thing to do. It is not /that/ strange for me to think that there might be more behind it than mere hospitality. And believe me. I am grateful that you helped her out. I am." The smile broadens at that. "Besides. The name is Hjalmar. Not Bubba. Also... If there's no need to start an official challenge. The better, is it not? We can do without those things." He sighs. "And let me say it for a third time. My appologies if the assumption was wrong. I am just not someone to back down on a promise. Something people can vouch for."

Journey pushes a board in place, and takes a set of nails from a Kin , crawling up, taking a board and starting to hammer the pieces in place.

Whoa, what's going on here? Lleutrim looks up. He didn't hear what was said because - the saw cutting the wood is loud and he and Dre both are probably wearing ear protection as well as gloves and goggles. But Donnachaidh caught some change in body language in a random glance. He pauses in shifting a piece of plywood and glances about but everything seems calm so he keeps working.

Hearing the words being spoken, Dre lifts his head from cutting and begins making his way over to where things are going on, his eyes taking in those who are NOT shouting. "Is everything alright here?" he asks simply. He knows that Rhea's clan is helping with the work, so he isn't worried about the wood not getting cut, but he does make his way over to where Rhea is. His eyes glancing to Sean and Hjalmar. "Everything cool?" he asks.

Rhea lifts a finger. "Look, gentlemen, you're both pretty, but I'm already offering her a full massage and seaweed wrap with me. Let's focus on the roof for now. I'll get the pudding bet for you two to wrestle in later, okay?" she says with a joking wink, trying to diffuse the situation." The kinfolk on the roof stop working. There's not a fast way off the roof, so they're making plans now.

"The assumption was VERY wrong," Sean says, in that same CONVERSATIONAL TONE that is definitely not yelling. "The only way I would 'make a claim' on a girl is if that's what she clearly wanted, too. She asked me over for lunch. I offered to take her to the kinfolk house, or my place, or wherever she wanted to go. Why shouldn't she go stay at a fucking spa where there are plenty of kinfolk around so she can get to know people and relax." He takes a breath and lets it out, slowly. "However, apology accepted. Just next time you think you have a problem with me, you should make sure that it's actually a problem." Dre is ignored. So is Rhea, for that matter.

Skully frowns deeply in Sean and Hjalmar's direction when he notes Tinlin backing away, moreso when the discussion between Sean and Hjalmar becomes somewhat-audible. He puts a huge hand on the Kinswoman's shoulder, shaking his head at her and murmuring something back quietly, then sets his grilling tools down and glares at both Fianna in the discussion. He doesn't add to that fire; oh no, not where his head is at right now. Instead, he looks back to Tinlin, and asks her simply, "What do /you/ want, ma'am? As far as your accommodations go?"

Ignored, it doesn't matter, as long as things were escalating is all Dre cared about. The dark skinned Shadow Lord walks back over to where he was giving Rhea a nod of his head and he looks to Tinlin, he hadn't introduced himself to her, nor to any others here yet. He will, there is work that needs to be done so he moves back over to where Lleu is and begins getting back to work, "Actually this is a lot easier that you did this Lleu." he says smiling to the Garou.

Hjalmar nods. "Glad that I was then. And glad to hear that we think the same about this." There's no scorn in his voice, and it is not raised or angry. If anything. Sean's words made him feel more relaxed even. "She may ofcourse stay at the Spa Sean. I just promised to protect her. That is all." And at Sean saying that the appology is accepted, he nods. "Now. To ease the tenstion further... Would you care for some Mead?"

Johanna moves to Tinlin's side, opposite from Skully. The Philodox here is not liking where this is quite going and she is reserving her judgment on the men, listening, but protecting the Kinwoman.

Tinlin doesn't like all the attention. She's newly arrived here and this is exactly why she normally steers clear of larger crowds. There's a bit of worry in her green eyes when she looks among the fianna, but then her head looks up at Skully. "I think it's wise to spend time with other females at the Sept. Let heads cool, and friends be friends. The home is built now, and it's going to be a very nice one. For now, I think Starchaser'rhya's offer is best in staying with her, as well as spending time with Rhea. Please take no offense of your hospitality, Hjalmar. You 'ave been very kind. I'm not going to come in between friends."

WHAK WHAK WHAK nail WHAK WHAK WHAK WHAK nail WHAK WHAK WHAK Journeys not even aware the GroundWalkers are arguing.

SHUBA, shuba, shuba. There must be a Bill Cosbey Noah joke here somewhere.

The men resume work, and Rhea relaxes visibly, looking warmly to Dre. "Evereything's fine for now, let's get this home finished," she comments and nods to Tinlin. "I think you'd *adore* Starchaser's stay for now. The seaweed wrap's always ready for you." She returns and sits by Tinlin saying something to her softly.

Khol is also busy focused on directing all of the workers. He relys on Journey to help with the directions, but he keeps it moving. Its not long later when the planking is down, and the rolls of roofing paper are being rolled out, staggered from base to top, so thaty they are not in each others way, while another group move teh shingles up onto the papered part of the roof.

Johanna smiles to Rhea, "Perhaps Tinlin and I could come to the spa, and all three of us could enjoy some time there together?" She has been looking forward to trying it out sometime soon. "Just some girl time."

"Well, that settles that, then," Skully says soothingly, giving Tinlin a smile and a nod before going back to grilling the meat, which is nearly done. He starts pulling some bits free and setting them on a tray, smiling aside at Johanna and at Rhea as the three ladies discuss girl business while he handles grill business.

Sean nods to Hjalmar, just once. "Mead would be great." He offers out his hand and says, "I speak my mind. Sorry."

Of course male garou will be ... well, males. There's a lovely Fianna kinfolk who's very sweet. It's not like they see many Fianna women around here who aren't Amanda and nutty. Donnachaidh is oblivious as he keeps working. Lleu glances up to judge how much light they have left to work with - maybe two hours yet or less. "Not going to get this roof done tonight but we may get enough plywood into place to close it. I don't think we are due any rain but we can secure tarps just in case, then get the shingles on tomorrow." That to Dre, probably.

Tinlin hangs out with the women for now and nods to what they are whispering and carrying on for by the grill. It's the gossip spot now. "I've never done a seaweed wrap but it sounds interesting. I'd do it if it doesna make you smell like a wee bit of salty sea foam?" She peers at Johanna. "Hopefully Khol won't mind a house guest."

Hjalmar looks to Tinlin upon hearing her voice and nods. "If that is what you wish for Tinlin. I shall not keep you." The happiness has receded a bit from his face by now. Then back to Sean, accepting the offered hand. "As is needed at times... But mead it is." He turns to walk off to find the place the bottles are stashed now, after the big move of furniture and stuff. Then to Lleu. "Might be. And in that case, tarping it up sounds like a good idea. Keeps the morning moisture out as well I hope."

A side hug is given to Tinlin, then smiles to Johanna. "I think a girl's night sounds *perfect*." Rhea concurs with a smile.

Journey grabs the materials, and starts setting it out, getting it ready for the other guys to get up here without his sticking-to-things powers. He looks down at the others, checking on what's going on, hears Tinlin say 'Seaweed wrap' Assumes they're going for sushi later, and goes back to work.

A side hug is given to Tinlin, then smiles to Johanna. "I think a girl's night sounds *perfect*." Rhea concurs with a smile. She joins Johanna in setting the place. "No, it won't make you smell like sea foam, but even if it did, we have soaps that work *miracles*. Our bath bombs are top notch!" she says sounding almost like a commerical. Don't delay! Buy today!

Johanna shakes her head, "Of course he will not mind. We have plenty of space. Our home was a bit rundown, but as you can see, he is very handy and has fixed it up well. I could use your opinion, and yours too Rhea, on one of the rooms." She smiles about that little secret project.

Buzz, buzz, buzz as the electric saw cuts wood and the wood being taken to where they are needed.

Tinlin looks at Johanna and then Rhea, "Of course we'll help you, Starchaser'rhya. Whatever it is you need. And I am looking forward to seeing your home. Your mate is quite skilled, I can see that already. Hjalmar's house is going to be very cozy by the time they finish. I intended to help him grow his garden here, much like the one we had at home growing up. Do you also plant flowers around your house?"

Sean glances at the time and then heads over to Tinlin. "I"m REALLY sorry about that. I need to go call my mother. You're staying with the ladies, yes? Do you need a ride? Anything like that at all?"

Having found one of the bottles of Mead. Hjalmar returns to Sean. "Here. Take it with you." He offers the whole thing instead of a glass. "I made it myself."

Johanna grins to Tinlin, "Flowers? We have flowers, shrubs, Trees, and a garden for vegetables. Khol loves to grow as much as we can to eat clean. I'm sure he'd love another hand around to help out." She knows when Khol gets a chance to talk to her, they will hit it off like peas and carrots! "He even does canning, and cooks so much from scratch! I am so loved and cared for! Plus he takes extras to the Kinfolk house all the time."

Skully just hums contentedly away while the ladies chatter behind him, pulling food off the grill and setting it on the tray. He strides back into the kitchen, pulling out a bunch of things from the fridge, then comes back with a knife and some skewers. Chop-chop-chop, skewer-skewer-skewer, and grilled veggies begin. Zucchini and yellow squash, tomato, pineapple, red onion, red and green peppers, sprinkled with a little olive oil, rosemary, and dill. The Garou Gourmet strikes again.

Journey moves on to more hammering and fitting pieces together. Working on the roof with no clue what's going on at sea level. La la la.

Khol has to speak a bit harshly just about then ,to one of the workers that sets his hammer down on the planking, "Dont do that.. Hammers SLIDE man.. Your gonna brain someone. Hook it on your belt if you need your hand free." he move out of the attic now, onto the attached boarding, and starts to direct the final boards for the crest, while the people lower down are rolling out the roofing paper and tacking it down. He is keeping everyone he can busy, and the work goes VERY fast..

Tinlin smiles gently at Sean's politeness now. "Thank you. I am also very sorry that there was any upset at all. I clearly didn't intend any trouble." She's apologetic. "Aye, I'll be staying with Johanna, Starchaser'rhya. And dinnae worry about a ride. I'm sure she'll see ta everything and if not, I 'ave two feet." Her accent thickens when she's a tad nervous. "Thank you for asking and checking."

Rhea considers this room. Oooh! How mysterious! "I'd love to contribute to this new place. Just don't ask me to grow *anything*. I did not get my family's green thumb."

Grill grill grill, turn turn turn, sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle, chop chop chop, skewer skewer skewer, cook cook cook, Skully Skully Skully.

Sean shakes his head. "No. You didn't cause any trouble at all. Just a misunderstanding." He glances over at Johanna and then back to Tinlin and he nods. "Cool. I'm going to go make a phone call. I'll see you around, okay?"

Lleutrim lays off now he's finished measuring and marking the last of the plywood boards. He goes to find a bottle of water and gets distracted by Ghost-on-Water with his cooler of beer. "Oh man, thanks." Donnachaidh snags one and leans against the powder blue Ford pickup and opens it up to get a drink. His pale grey eyes watch the others working away. "Food smells great. I am so hungry." Lleu wipes his brow, "First thing I'm going to do when we are done here is I'm going to the Kinfolk house for a shower. It's been sweaty work today." Ghost nods, not having worked half as much. But yanno, Ragabash.

Tinlin gives a little nod to Sean. "I'll see you around. Thank you again for your kindness. And helping with the house here." She glances to the workers on the roof. "I can't believe how much they've gotten done already."

Journey starts walking along the roof, , feet disturbing notheing as he positions to settle in to the shingling with the others. WHAK WHAK WHAK nail WHAK WHAK WHAK WHAK Shingle Nail WHAK WHAK WHAK.

Dre continues to cut the boards and drywall, talking with the few Kin still with him as Lleu leaves to grab a drink. Dre pulls back a few of his dreads to keep them from falling into his eyes as he is cutting.

Johanna looks up at the work there. "It certainly takes a village. This must be what it was like in the Amish country, for Barn Raising and all."

Ghost-on-Water adds, "About out of daylight. I think Skully's got the food about ready too."

Hjalmar, having dropped off the bottle at Sean, sighs and returns to any work still needed to be done. A glance towards the roof, followed by a nod. "It truly goes fast indeed...." A smile to Johanna at the joke. "Might be. They certainly seem to be able to get things done."

"You think right," Skully calls out to Ghost-on-Water, and he does indeed have food ready; enough to feed an impromptu gathering, if not a massive buffet. His ad hoc dry rub is cooked into a big ol' stack of meat, he's got grilled vegetables for days, and he seems very happy at what he's managed to accomplish. The huge Metis steps back, nodding once in satisfaction, and declares, "Food's done."

Lleutrim finishes off his beer, hands the empty can to Ghost, then walks on back to lend a hand moving packages of tar paper and shingles on up to the roof. Looks like the cutting is done and there is a lot of hammering going on up there now.

FInishing up the last bit of cutting, Dre puts down the power saw, turn it off and unplug it. He didn't want anyone getting hurt or accidentally hurting someone else. He than takes a few of the boards, and well he carries quiet a few of the large boards and takes them over to where they are being stored. After setting them down and hearing all the hammering, he looks to those who ar doing the hammering, he goes to grab a bottle of water himself and drinks.

Khol looks at the work as the last planks are going on, paper is going down, and the first of teh shingles are even being put down , as they work at different stages on the roof. He nods "It is going to take a few more hours.. But it will go quickly.. Perhaps we should call it for the night before it becomes dangerous being on the roof, and we can finish in the morning, and we can all enjoy a nice Grill out meal."

Skully's not shy about serving himself up a paper plate of mixed grilled veggies, brisket, and ribs, finding a spot to lean against the wall and sitting down to eat the food. Everyone else can help themselves; hard work's done.

All the Logos men come down, chattering as Rhea talks with them. Alex gives the kinfolk a big bear hug as some of the other men surround Dre, chattering with him in Enclish, patting him on the back, and treating him like family/ The men start grabbing a bit of food, one of the Garou having helped himself, so now they're off the hook! Rhea doesn't grab any, but she does sit with the Garou, smiling and letting people go nuts! The Logos men all seem to be cajoling and laughing, smiling to the Garou, but not speaking unless spoken to.

Khol pats Journey's shoulder "Lets wrap it up for the night.. good work though." he offers, but will be the last person down, to make sure there isnt anything dangerous left up here that might slip off in the night and hurt someone or something.

Journey looks up at the hand on his shoulder, then blinks, and looks at the roof. He looks around, "I-Oh everyones eating right.." He nods, rising, and gives Kohl a thumbs up and walks.. off the roof. Journey just takes a step off the edge, drops directly to the ground, landing on the same foot he was putting down, pauses, then keeps walking on the same rhythm. It's called the 'Underworld Drop.'

Johanna has Tinlin gather anything she needs, and will take her to her home once they are finished here. She comes up and makes a plate of food for herself, and once she has it filled, she finds a place near Skully. "This smells great. Thanks for cooking for us, Weathers-the-Storm."

Dre put the bottle in the trash and he laughs as the Logos men come to pester him. He laughs and makes comments to them acting like they are his family and nodding this head as one of the Logos men point at a couple of spots that may need a little more attention, he nods and lets them know he will tell the others. When they move off, Dre walks over to where the rest of the wood and drywall is and he grabs what is left and takes it over to where the rest is being kept at. HE will walk over to where Kool and Journey are, "Is this it for the day?" he asks as he looks to the two.

Khol climbs down more mundanely, and then sets the ladder aside, so no one will be tempted to just happen toclimb to the roof over night. Only then does he move to the food, and start to pile a plate for himself.. he worked hard today and so has a bit of an appetite. Only once he has the food, does he look for Johanna, and smling he joins her and skully "Smells great Skully.. Thank you for the chow." he settles in next to Johanna, gives her a quick kiss "Glad you could make it out today love."

"Always my pleasure, Starchaser," Skully replies to Johanna with a grin, having finished some of his yellow zucchini. "I jus' like makin' stuff. Food, metalwork, art, whatever. Comes easy. Hope it turned out okay." He shrugs, no complaints on his end, and digs in a bit more. "Nice'a you to take Tinlin under your wing. Seems like she needs a little lookin' after."

Johanna shrugs, "Maybe it is just a mo.er...sisterly instinct coming out. I am happy to pay forward the kindness the kinfolk showed to me when my parents died." She munches on some of the meat first.

Journey walks over and racks his hammer, returns the nails to the right bag and helps secure the tools, and looks at the food, "Wow, food." He says and moves to get a plate, and start in, "Smells great, Weathers."

Dre smirks and shakes his head, he walks over to the work area and begins cleaning up, helping gather up what wasn't thrown away and making sure the scraps and what used materials are up off the ground. Once he has that done he begins gathering up the trash and getting it over to any of the bigger dumpsters if there are any.

"Thank you, Shaderunner-rhya; kinda threw it together last-minute," Skully replies to the Silent Strider, taking other compliments and such in stride as he eats. He hangs with Khol and Johanna, eating and listening, gesturing up toward the house. "You took over as foreman pretty naturally," the huge Metis says to Khol with a grin. "Sorry I wasn't helpin' more, but... someone had to make food." To Johanna, he nods, considering while he eats some grilled peppers. "It's good of you. I think she feels safer now, knowin' she's under your watch. Seems like a nice girl. Lil' shy. Didn't care for the to-do about her at all."

Once tings are thrown away, Dre makes his way over to the food and where Johanna, Shaderunner and Skully are. "You all did some good work here." he smiles. He looks back towards the cabin, "I will be around tomorrow before my patrol and try to help out more where you need me." he says as he looks to them.

Johanna blushes as Skully compliments her. "I do understand that. I've been there before. I look forward to assisting her so she can make her own choices." Dre comes up near then and she say, "Good that you can help, show us more sides to you. Be sure to have some food."

Rhea stands and walks over, giving Johanna and Khol a hug then snuggling Skully and kissing him on the cheek. "Alright, I have to get these hooligans to bed so we can come back in the morning. You guys be safe, okay?" she says with a smile.

Khol accepts the hug from Rhea, "Thanks for all the help from all your family Rhea." he then offers to Skully "Im just naturally a bossy asshole.. what else is there to say " he grins a bit. "Someone has to do it."

Skully nods evenly to Dre, gesturing to his plate, and asks, "Did you get yourself food?" Oh, but Jo already said it, he's just repeating for her, so he laughs and shakes his head. Rhea's snuggle and kiss on the cheek gets a big smile from the Metis, who nods to her and says, "Tell 'em we all said thanks for them helpin'. Was big of all'a you." Another few bites then a smirk for Khol. "Well, you got the job done. S'what bein' a leader is."

Lleutrim has been inside the house washing up his face and hands and using the bathroom. He comes back out and goes to get a plate and start piling up meat and vegie skewers, "Thank you so much for cooking, Skully. Really appreciate it after all that work today." The Galliard will also snag himself a couple of beers and go to find himself somewhere to sit down to eat.

Dre looks to Johanna, he nods his head, "Yeah. Kinda kept myself away." he lets out a breath, "Not any more." he says to her. He looks to Skully as he repeats, he smiles, "No worries. Yeah I'm going to help Rhea, than I will be back if you all are still going to be here." he says as he looks to the Logos men and gestures for them to come on before they get left. He did come with Rhea and her family.

Journey kind of falls into the food for a moment, looking up at the roof and listening to the conversations by degrees, but mostly eating.

Lleutrim wolfs down his food quietly and seeing Ghost-on-Water is ready to go, Donnachaidh finishes his food and gets up. "Thanks for the meal. I'm heading out but I'll swing by tomorrow morning to help finish up the roof, and clean up. You all have a good night." He and Ghost clean up their paper plate trash and head to the pickup truck all loaded up for the dump in the morning.

Journey finishes up and waves, "See you guys later." He wanders off about as abruptly as he arrived.

Khol finishes his plate of food, having spent some quiet time focused on that.
