Return to the Wyrm Gym Pt.2
Legend's Guardians, along with Cait, continue a full assault/raid on the Wyrm Gym.
Players Dragomir, Lleutrim, Ryla, and Waziyata as ST.
Location Wyrm Gym, Prospect
Spheres Gaian Garou

Dragomir nods and grins viciously. "So we stand before the Wyrm, and they surround us. Let it begin." He brings his silver claws before his chest, letting them rake across each other in a sing of metal. He tips back his head and growls out deeply, waiting for Puddle Jumper's lead to begin the battle.

Twilight's Glimmer snarls, bat still in hand.. er claw.. and approaches one of the other doors. Listening to her sister, and lead on this side, pushes the door open and checking to see what the smaller of the Crinos Warriors is going to find and perhaps bash to death.

Hispo is his usual war form choice and Lleu already shifted to it. The huge dire wolf is ready to leap at and bust open the door to their left when Ryla moves towards it with her baseball bat. Battle Singer is ready to leap to her aid should she find more than she can handle beyond it. It's just then that the Black Spiral Dancer opens the third door further down the hall and steps out, hissing it's foul words. The Galliard turns his head sharply.

Puddle Jumper looms in the war form, Crinos, crammed into the tiny hallway in the back of the gym. She growls at the sight of the Black Spiral Dancer emerging from the room and tilts her head a little to one side, watching almost curiously as the words are howled. Then, she crouches lower, body tensing as she prepares to throw herself into battle. ~ Kill the Wyrm. Check last door, fight to the building center. ~ Then she snarls a challenge of her own and lunges toward the tainted werewolf.

xxxxxMultiple banes slip through the gauntlet in the front of the house, materializing with ichor-coated claws, sharkskin, and snarling maws full of razor-sharp teeth around Dragomir and Cait. They hiss and chitter to one another, circling the two wolves as more banes move into the room in the umbra, restlessly gathering nearby rather than materializing.

xxxxxIn the back, the lone Black Spiral Dancer finishes her screech of warning and slips a dagger from a sheath behind her back, snarling back at Puddle Jumper, Twilight's Glimmer and Battle Singer.

Dragomir snarls violently, shifting and growing swiftly in size and shape - taking a horrifying war form

Things happen fast. No sooner as Ryla opened the door on the left than a Black Spiral Dancer has come out into the hall from the last doorway. Battle Singer's hackles rise and with no immediate threat popping out to molest Twilight's Glimmer, the Fianna moves to attack the Dancer with a terrible snarl! She parries his first attack, holding Lleu at bay for about a second and then he is quick as a snake to dive in for another bite faster than she can bring that blade to bear! Battle Singer sinks his fangs into the tainted garou's flesh and he thrashes his huge head viciously, ripping flesh from her bones, causing her serious damage.

Even as the Black Spiral tries to retreat, the floor is painted with her blood. The Galliard pursues her into the room and relentless, Lleu lays into her with an even more terrible attack! Setting his paws upon her, Battle Singer closes his maw upon the Danger's throat and in a flash it's over, pulling her down and ripping the Minion of the Wyrm literally into pieces.

No dallying. As soon as their first foe is down, the huge Fiann wolf throws himself back onto his haunches to turn and leap back out into the hall and start for the gleaming Silver Fang who is beset by banes!

Dragomir extends his clawed hands outwards, taunting the banes to coming at him now. Teeth clench fiercely, and his body shimmers and turns to pure silver. As the bane makes their attack, the silver muscles of the Warrior only seem to swell and grow more enflamed with brutal intent. Enduring the attacks, and getting ready to unleash hell now.

A large brutal silver clawed hand is sent towards one of those warrior banes, and does nothing against the thick sharkskin armor. He growls slightly at that, and transforms brutally up into his Crinos form. Then he lunges forward to bite it instead, and still nothing. ~We will keep the banes distracted.~

Puddle Jumper advances slowly, methodically, as her pack mates charge the lone Black Spiral Dancer. She lunges in and nips at the Crinos's heels, fangs snapping shut on the foe's hindquarters as it flees, but failing to do real damage. Then she watches as her sister and Battle Singer move in to finish the fight. Instead of giving chase as well, she turns her attention to the hallway ahead, growling softly. ~ One Wyrm Howler dead. Good, Battle Singer. ~

xxxxxAs the Black Spiral Dancer flees back into a small, grungy office. She screams and lunges at the wall, as though intending to smash through it, before Battle Singer's claws and fangs stop her short of her goal. She dies painfully, slashing with her dagger every step of the way to no avail.

xxxxxThe three banes circle Eye of the Storm as the man turns to solid silver, lunging in to strike at him with claws and fangs. They land solid hits and do little, only to withstand his attacks in turn. An even match, one tough bastard against rage-filled monstrosities. The spirits in the umbra continue to stir and wake, gathering into the gym, chittering to one another in spirit speech, alerting of invaders, Gaians, prey. Blood.

xxxxxAs Battle Singer charges through the archway ahead, he emerges into a common space. A couch is set against one wall, a refrigerator beside it, TV across from it. Twin doors labeled with a bathroom symbol stands on one side of the room, opposite the double doors that likely lead to the main gym area. A dining room table dominates the center of the space, and a staircase leads below ground. Thumping footsteps can be heard below, muffled shouts, and an angry man's voice bellowing, the words too distorted to make out.

xxxxxA moment later, a man pokes his head up from the staircase, sees the Crinos shape above, and shouts, "Holy shit!" before leveling a shotgun.

Eye of the Storm roars, lunging forward in building frustration with the difficulty of wounding the Banes. A silver clawed hand reaches out rather brutally and snatches one of the shark skinned banes with vicious intent and clamps down his silver jaws into the chest cavity and rips it in half. Clearly, not about to let this dance last any longer than he has to. ~Puddle Jumper, update me.~

Battle Singer is either unaware of the man with the shotgun or too focused and blasting straight through to aid the silvery Eye of the Storm! Like a freight train he runs through the common room, leaping over the couch easily rather than running around it. The huge dire wolf makes it through without being shot thanks to Twilight's Glimmer and bursts out into the main gym. The floor doesn't prove too slick and in a breath the Galliard attempts to distract one of the banes that are trying to maul his pack alpha!

A snarl and a snap of the massive jaws manages to catch some of the bane's sharkskin and puncture it though the grip isn't good enough to try and thrash it. The next instant Battle Singer has lost his grip on the foul spirit!

Puddle Jumper lopes into the central room of the gym and growls at the sight of the man with the shotgun, before charging down the staircase to land on top of the man with a sickening crunch, jaws closing about his throat and head. He falls with a half scream and then the Child of Gaia straightens, ears perking as she looks about herself. ~ Basement hallway. Barracks. Closed door. Three strong men. Two guns. What is fighting you? The fight is here.~

xxxxxAs the first shark-skinned bane is torn in half by Dragomir, the other two charge in and slam their claws into the silver werewolf again. They howl and shriek and then begin to back away before him, hissing and snarling. Banes continue to move about in the umbra, visible only to Dragomir, several more warriors slinking, loping, slithering into the building's reflection and moving past the main room, toward the back area.

xxxxxJust after Puddle Jumper's report, an eerie howling begins, distant, echoing eerily through the building as if from a great distance. The sound is warbling and continuous, seeming to distort the very air around the pack, adding a surreal, dreamlike quality to the night.

Twilight's Glimmer hurries after Puddle Jumper, racing down the stairs. Once she makes it, she takes in the scene, sees the low hanging fruit of the hurt Strongman, and CHOMPS down on him, ripping him up further, so as to be sure he stays DOWN!

Puddle Jumper as their ranking Ahroun has command of the battle. Lleu has interpreted her comment through the pack link to indicate her desire for them to regroup to deal with whatever she has found downstairs. Therefore Battle Singer starts to fall back and head into the common room with little doubt a blazing silver Crinos Elder can handle two visible banes! Even so Battle Singer bites at one of them in passing and manages to inflict a little damage.

The next thing he knows the Fianna dire wolf is having to dodge a nasty blow in turn that could have hurt him badly! The Galliard is nimble enough to escape unscathed! ~ Banes! I am coming! ~

Eye of the Storm storms forward, keeping an eye on Ain't Dead yet to make sure she is holding her own and hasn't been wounded too badly in the battle. When he spins his head around, and notices Battle Singer there he growls at him ~There are more banes heading towards you Puddle Jumper. Battle Singer, back to your post!~ He leaps towards another Bane, throwing down his jaws down over the bane's 'throat' and growls to rip it out with brutal intensity. A vicious and brutal manner - like he intends to move down to join Wazi as well.

The claws rake together, and Eye of the Storm moves towards yet another Bane, blurring his silver claws forward and tearing and shredding at the Bane's armored hide as best he can. A brutal growl follows, the silver surging through his system and the half-moon high overhead has him racing the edge.

Puddle Jumper stands and endures as three massive men charge her, swinging claws and pipes. She shrugs the blows off, snarls as shots ring out and bullets slam into her hide, but she is unhurt. ~ Yes. ~ she confirms in reply to the pack link. ~ Two dead, one dying. Two guns left. Sister, kill left gunman. ~ Even as this is communicated, she is moving with brutal efficiency, tearing through the strongmen, ripping throats free and raking her claws through flesh and ignoring both their screams and the eerie howls echoing through the building.

xxxxxThe howl continues unrelenting, echoing and warbling more loudly through the basement, though still distant and muffled. Even as two of the strongmen die the third staggers back and stumbles forward again, shrieking in rage as his wounds begin to close up.

xxxxxOn the staircase behind Twilight's Glimmer, another shark-skinned bane materializes between her and Lleutrim, dropping toward her exposed back.

As Battle Singer is moving to the stairs to head down and help, a bane materializes right before his face! The Galliard attacks it twice in quick succession but not only does it no harm, he doesn't phase it in the least as it leaps at Ryla for a sneak attack on his pack mate! His snarl is too late to warn her! He sees Twilight's Glimmer hurt and then begin to struggle against rage welling up. That fires up Battle Singer to /throw/ himself against the bane in an attempt to knock it out of his bloody way! Only the huge dire wolf isn't enough and finds himself thwarted as the bane holds fast and prevents the Garou from bursting past! ~ RYLA! ~

Puddle Jumper gives her head a toss and shifts her weight a little, growling as she endures more bullets and claw strikes. She glances back as a bane drops on her sister and snarls at it as her own claws turn to silver. ~ Banes arriving. Sister is hurt. Gun dead. Good, Ryla. Do not Rage. Wyrm is pulling on Rage, here. Sister, be calm. ~ That said, the Ahroun eyes the Ragabash a moment, warily, even as she moves to shrug another claw strike from the frenzied fomor.

~ I do not like this. They are not fighting seriously. Trap, maybe. ~

xxxxxAbove, the final warrior bane battles Dragomir and is finally torn asunder by the silver elder, spitting and growling as it dies, fangs biting uselessly at his metal body. No more banes materialize in the room as Ain't Dead Yet rejoins the elder, though many wyrm spirits linger in the shadow, watching in the night.

xxxxxThe howl continues unabated, adding the eerie, distorting element to the battle as the werewolves slog through their enemies. The bane in the stairwell materializes, landing in a crouch just behind Twilight's Glimmer and slashing at her with serrated claws, drawing blood. Then, Battle Singer is attempting to shove it aside and it squares its stance on all fours, shoving back against him with a noise like a choking cat.

xxxxxRage begins to tug at each of the werewolves' hearts and minds, surging and growing and fighting against their sense of self control. The remaining gunman empties the clip of his assault rifle on the two werewolves in the basement, bullets pinging and zipping harmlessly off Twilight's Glimmer and Puddle Jumpers' hides and all around them, pocking into the crude cement walls of the basement level and destroying bedding.

Twilight's Glimmer goes after her next target, biting right into him and ripping and shredding. But as she does, she is attacked! And worse - it is pulling at that very easy going nature of the Ragabash, and not only making her angry - but spilling over into a level she has never experienced before - losing control!

Eye of the Storm seems to have had just about enough of these banes. He blurs forward, and in a flurry of attacks he bites, and starts clawing and ripping away at the bane over and over again, until there is simply nothing left but shreds of the Wyrm.

Twilight's Glimmer is holding off the thrall of the wyrm as long as she can, taking the fight to the hurt gunman in front of her. She bites into him, ripping and shredding, and then it hits! The rage taking over, despite her pack's best efforts! She snarls and loses it as she takes this guy apart into little bits - WAY over doing it.

Puddle Jumper shifts her attention from the gunmen, Twilight's Glimmer, and the bane fighting Battle Singer on the stairway. She gives a frustrated growl and turns and lunges for the bane, tearing into it with impossible, augmented strength and tearing it in half with a single, bloody strike. Then she is standing back so that Battle Singer can rush to her frenzied pack mate. ~ What is happening in the Shadow, Eye of the Storm? Only one gun remains here- SISTER NO! ~ The Ahroun twists, snarling, to face toward Twilight's Glimmer in sudden alarm.

xxxxxAs the bane dies and Twilight's Glimmer tears into the already dead gunman from before, the disorienting noise of the howl continues with only a brief pause for the singer to take a breath. Then it reverberates through the basement once more, even as all else begins to go quiet except for the sound of the gunman's ammunition clip clicking into place and the pack's movements. The remaining gunman is shaking visibly as he eyes the three werewolves in the room, "Look," he shouts nervously, "I-I-I don't wanna be here! Honest!"

Battle Singer lifts up his head and lets forth a howl that for a moment deafens any hint of the other's howl in the distance. The Galliard's deep throated voice lifts high, reverberating off of the walls as Lleu brings forth the Anthem of War to rally his pack against their foes! It's a howl to make any Fianna proud, and maybe Ahroun's as well!

As soon as his howl dies down, Battle Singer sees that Puddle Jumper has brought down the bane! He leaps down the stairs towards Twilight's Glimmer and evokes a wonder, directing the resulting spray at his frenzying pack mate! Cool calm washes over her to bring Twilight's Glimmer back to her senses.

A very different sound come from Eye of the Storm. One no one here has heard him make before - fury, violent - brutal - destructive anger, unleashed. But it is not the sound of frenzy, nor loss of control by any stretch of the imagination. Instead it is like the hiss of a steam engine having finally come to temperature. He comes racing forward at a speed that is frankly horrifying. One silver clawed hand reaches out, snatching the gunman's head off its shoulders and flinging it free of his body and into the wall with the force of a bullet.

He does not even slow down, right past them - into the door and through it. A claw brutally wrenches into the first bane, and then another. Tearing it to shreds before the second is over. Then another claw to the second bane, and a bite - but somehow this one is resisting the furious Warrior, preventing him from reaching the chanter before. He's had enough of these banes - if he has to tear each and every one of them apart, he will.

Too much is going on! Puddle Jumper beats down Twilight's Glimmer, Eye of the Storm thunders past like some gleaming Garou Hero-God, and Battle Singer is getting one hell of a sight picture with a lot going on in it. It takes the Galliard precious seconds to string it into the mind link, ~ Eye of the Storm'rhya! We must withdraw! The complex is a huge warren of tunnels and there are /many/ more banes, /many/ more Black Spiral Dancers coming! At least twenty of them and we have a pack mate down! I think we need to moon bridge the hell out of here while we can! ~ It's sure not the information he wants to be conveying. Damn, it's almost like the battle in the Legendary Realm all over again except that this is in /Prospect/.

Battle Singer leaps over, protective of Twilight's Glimmer and snarls a warning at Puddle Jumper lest she be under the influence of the Wyrm.

For her part, Puddle Jumper watches on as Twilight's Glimmer loses herself to frenzy. The Ahroun snarls, the sound more surprised and horrified than angry. <<NO!>> the wolf snarls as she charges her sister, massive, silver-clawed hands clenching into fists. Even as her pack mates charge ahead or use Gifts to gather information and fight for their lives, Puddle Jumper slams into her sister, smashing her with fists until she drops, unconscious and bleeding, to breed form. Only then does Wazi stop, huffing, snarling with near frenzy of her own. ~ The Wyrm does not have her now. Healing her. What is ahead, Alpha? ~

xxxxxWhen Dragomir charges through the door ahead, he finds a bedroom with two more monstrous, twisted shapes waiting for him. They aren't as fast as he is, and one collapses under the silver monster's fangs and claws before it even seems to know what's hit it. The other snarls and stands strong against him, preventing him with sheer bulk from charging into a tunnel dug into the wall, spiraling away, deeper into the earth. The howling continues, reverberating weirdly through the building and tunnel alike as the sound of claws clicking and scraping through earth begins, low hissing and snarling growing closer at hand.

Twilight's Glimmer fluidly shifts back to a human.

As Twilight's Glimmer heads toward the gunman, to stop him by taking the gun away, she sees Wazi coming after her, and tries to side step and nearly does! But then Wazi is on top of her, punching her down and OUT! She reverts back to her much smaller homid form, a pile of messy hair and pale skin on the floor.

He's had enough of these banes - if he has to tear each and every one of them apart, he will.

Eye of the Storm hears Puddle Jumper's question and growls over the pack link, showing them the image of the all banes in the umbra around them. ~Stay together!~ For a moment he snarls.. ready to press on, to fight on - to charge in, any cost. But he is not alone anymore. For twenty long years he fought on his own, battled without regard or concern for the safety of himself. But now, he must be level-headed, he must be willing to make the call. If he died here, that would be fine. He could accept a great battle, a good death. He would make them pay long before they bested him. Fuck. ~Retreat. Get out. Everyone, out. Now!~
