Blackthorn keeps her distance from the fire, it's not that it can hurt her any more than anything else might be able to, but at one point it was the biggest danger to her, other than man. She sits far enough away to feel comfortable, but close enough to listen. After all, it is interesting to see what others think of spirits. If one were to look closely, even after a few minutes, small roots start sprouting from her 'feet' and burrowing in to the ground.

Magnus comes padding on in, as is his usual thing to do, pack territory patrol, caern for updates, rinse repeat...attack the wyrm in there somewhere. As he catches Ratsputin's scent (let's face it, he's a hairless BG, he probably stinks ;p), the Godi Get meanders towards it, snout to the ground to sniff in Rats' general direction. As he sees the others gathered, he gives a light aroo of hello.

Robert waves his hand over and through the fire. "Just be careful that the pop quiz isn't the rough kind of 'middle of a shitstorm, what do I do' type."

Journey nods, "I get it, didn't know if you had a specific area you worked." He shrugs, looking back to the fire in front of him and the flat cooking stone set into the coals, heating up and nods as Magnus comes in. "Hello."

Magnus starts to grow taller as he shifts from his lupus form into his neo-Viking blonde homid form. He stands tall as he strokes his braided beard and says, "Shaderunner-rhya." He bows his head in reverence and then looks over at the others with a nod of his head, not wishing to interrupt just yet.

Robert gives the new wolf a friendly wave as he shifts upwards. Just chilling, looking around as if with new eyes.

Journey nods, looking over, "Well, I'm afraid I need to get back home, Be Well, everyone." He rises, and snaps the fire poking stick in half feeding it to the flames.

Robert gives Journey a wave as well on his way out, looking up a the blond guy. "Welp, missed your chance to pick the brain of the Elder. Now you're stuck with Kin and Kami."

Magnus bows his head as Journey gets up and takes off. Looking to Robert, Magnus says, "I am Magnus Nilsen, Rited Bloodied-Spirit-Walker, Godi of te Get of Fenris, hailing from te Sept of te Midnight Sun in Scandinavia, but me home is here now, Alpha of Baldur's Blade pack and current Get Tribal leader." He bows his head and gives Robert a big grin at his comment, "Eh, I've had plenty of opportunities to meet with Shaderunner-rhya, and Fenris' Fate has it, shall have many more. Besides, kinfolk are sacred, so it is all good." He blinks at the sound of that last bit though, "Kami? I nae know what that is though."

Robert motions toward Blackthorn. "Spirit wrapped in flesh, formed by the hand of Gaia. A little more.. balanced.. than Triatic formed, such as Formori." and he does rise to his feet as the introduction is start. "Robert Daw, Steward of Sunhome, mystic and Kin to the Mokole Membe." And watches for the reaction.

Paul bows his head to Journey as he leaves, "Be safe out there, Sir." He looks to Magnus then at his introduction and smiles, dipping his head to the big man. "I'm Paul Barakat, kin to those who walk the dark sands of Khem, the Children of Bast, forgemaster of Sunhome and called the Animal Whisperer."

For as smart as the Get Theurge is, he's lead a fairly sheltered life tucked away in the arctics of Scandinavia. Sure, he is highly trained in the ways of the spirit world, but he's still never heard of the kami, so the explanation makes him looked impressed. He glances over to Blackthorn with an expression of, 'ask questions later' plastered onto his face. "Gaia truly is amazing in all te myriad of forms she utilizes to mend te balance." His voice is fairly sing-songy in its tone. "So many fera and fera kinfolk. This is wonderful. Me home sept was a bit too cold for most of yer kind, for most Garou even other than those with ties to te cold." He grins at that and says, "Well, not sure if this is yer first time in te Caern proper or if ye've been here a long time, but welcome. I try to be sociable, but din have much by way of time these days. Packs to run with, spirits to tend to, and wyrm to rip to shreds."

Robert gives the man a wide grin. "Oh, it's just the occasional trip. I've been learning how to deal with spirits with a little more... finesse. There are a few places where the Spirits are a little.. more mellow. Easier to converse with and interact with. This is one such spot. It also has the added benefit of having backup if I get in over my head."

The large Kami, having planted herself, decides to stay a while. At times Blackthorn is motionless, looking very much like the living carving that she once was, but every so often, the eyes will shift, or the head turn slightly, as if to follow the conversation.

Paul smiles to Magnus, "We been around a while now, even helped out protecting out in the Bawn before, but don't get out here as often as we should. Besides Sunhome Bobby's a vet 'n works at the zoo a lot, 'n I'm manager of the Smoke 'n Barley. A pleasure to meet you, Sir."

Magnus looks impressed at Robert too, "Ah, sorry, I tend to forget that others do nae know te Get terms of Godi...but I too am a Theurge, or spirit walker." Blackthorn may or may not get the feeling that Magnus feels somewhat like a spirit animal as he has a fairly good spirit heritage. "I'd be interested to understand yer perspective on te local spirits iffn ye were willing to share at some point. I've been trying to learn about as many of te active ones as possible to understand who all as dealings that kin help te Sept. Whatever me pack kin do to help, we'd try." Magnus looks back over to Blackthorn for a bit longer and then looks back to Paul "Smoke 'n Barley, I've heard of that shop. I din make it out to te city all that often, but I should at some point come visit te store."

Robert nods, smiling. "Ah, my skills may be somewhat limited. Only barely past the Gauntlet, not much further. The amazing variety in the region just there does keep me occupied. My closest are the spirits of Sunlight that dance around our desert abode. Though.. some of the water ones nearer the island like me too."

Paul nods to Magnus, "And I just learned how to interact with the spirit more'n Jasper. We can't pass through into it yet but I'm aware of stuff happening around, especially at Sunhome and Tefnut's Rest. The spirits of Sunhome are mostly of Fire and Sunlight and those at the oasis are more of peace and tranquility. You're welcome out there anytime."

Magnus nods, "Still, anyone interested in te well-being of te spirits is an ally. This is their home as much as it is ours, or te rest of te humankind." He definitely gives the air of being set apart from humanity. At the mention of desert, he shakes his head, "We had deserts where I came from back home, but nae like here. Our deserts were cold, yers are hot." He chuckles at that. "Still, harsh, unforgiving, and untamed, me kind of place regardless of te temperatures." He winks at that one, "Island? Sunhome and Tefnut's Rest?"

Robert motions toward the direction of the ocean. "The Island, very.. Wyld. Don't go swimming under it without backup. Cypha, the water dragon guardian, can get you around. I heard a rumor that it had been a Caern itself once. Sunhome was built by one of my people. we... inherited it. The people responded well to us, especially when Paul showed us his skill with the Solar Forge. Tefnut's is an Oasis, under protection of Sunhome. And a place of meditation and relaxation."

Paul nods to what Robert says, "Mister George of the Striders takes care of it, 'n he or Mister Journey would show you around if you asked I'm sure. Sunhome is a Gaian sanctuary for all of the Mother, 'n so is Tefnut's Rest. You eh... studying all the spirits around... that's a mighty big job."

Magnus looks towards the direction of the motioning, "Ah, may be part of te marine court. Will look into it. Cypha? I have nae heard that name." He pulls out a little piece of paper and starts scribbling away. Yup, neeeeeerrrdddd! Just don't tell the other Get or he may get beaten up. Then again, he's Get, he'll be beaten up no matter what. It's their shtick. "Ah, I will speak with Shaderunner-rhya then and have him show me te way." Another note is made. To Paul, "Aye, a big task indeed, but one someone should be doing, so I took it upon meself to do."

Robert nods, thinking. "She can usually be found near the he water. Just... be prepared. Her other form is... large."

Paul nods to Magnus, "It'll be worth reading for sure, and studying." His eyes are bright as he thinks about it. Nothing like the accumulation of knowledge to get a Bubasti's attention and get their curiousity up. He glances to Robert and back, and grins. "Oh yeah /way/ bigger. And if you see a raccoon, don't try to hurt her. That'll probably be Bronwyn. She's a being of the Wyld itself."

“Temperment? What does she look like in her regular form then? She would be big enough to carry a whole pack on her back?" Yup, taking notes. Looking back over his shoulder towards Blackthorn, he whispers to Paul and Robert, "So, does she speak and move much or does she normally just rest there? How does she get around?" Because, she's planted and all. At the mention of reading it, he nods, "I kin arrange a copy to be made for ye and dropped off at te Smoke 'n Barley." (Let's assume he gets it fairly quickly...as Magnus can be eager to find allies). "Bronwyn? Now, is this on 'Te Island' or in Sunhome or Tefnut's Rest?"

Robert thinks a moment. "Cypha's a cute redhead with lots and lots of freckles in human form. Dragon form.. shimmering blue scales, about the size of a 747 .. last I saw."

Paul glances over to Blackthorne, "She can speak, but just does so when she wants to. If she has something to say. And she can move, even in that form. But she has different forms."

Paul smiles then and chuckles, "Bronwyn is wherever Bronwyn wants to be at the time but she lives under the Island. She shows up as a raccoon, a lot of times coming out of Mister Journey's bag. Even when he didn't know she was in there. She's hard to explain but is amazing."

Magnus takes down notes and then looks at Blackthorn as she goes as still as a tree. To Paul he chuckles, "Another interesting thing to ask Shaderunner-rhya about then. I look forward to te trip. Perhaps Shaderunner-rhya can time it to when ye two are out there already as well. Having local guides is always more interesting." Magnus forgets to ask, "Oh, is there a special name for 'Te Island' or is it just 'Te Island?"

Paul says, "Mister Journey knows just about everybody in this area, and even in the other Realms around here. He can easily get a message to ous through Jasper. He's my spirit guide. A Wyld touched coyote. Robert can give you our numbers and all, or you can get a message to me easily at Smoke. When you come to Smoke bring a good appetite. We got some of the best meat in the area, and the Blessed Ones like you never have to pay. You can make a lot of contacts there too." He nods at Robert's answer. "Sometimes I heard people call it George's Island but mostly it's just The Island.""

Magnus bows his head and finishes up his notes. He folds the journal and places it back in his pocket before tucking the pen away too. "Well then, I'll see about contacting ye. Personally, I din have a phone, never needed one. Just howl to get te word out that I'm looking for someone, but perhaps one of te Glass Walkers or kinfolk kin make te connection for us, or Shaderunner-rhya even." He bows his head again. "I will be in touch. Very much looking forward to it, but unfortunately, duty calls for now." He bows one last time and then backs away.
