Focus
Personally-constructed core of strengthened lenses and a laser installed into an energy projector device made of aluminum and acylonitrile butadiene styrene, approximately the size and shape of the Zorg ZF-1.
Effect
Switch weapon to correct core, and fire weapon to shoot a plasma ball that deals (Successes + 1) fire (aggravated) damage to target, assuming a hit with a Dexterity + Energy Weapons check as any other projectile weapon.
Difficulty
Base difficulty: 7, 8 with witnesses. Always used with unique and specialty focus for a -2 modifier. An additional -1 if used where it is not vulgar.
Theory
By pulling the trigger, light is sent bouncing inside the core, creating Etheric friction which superheats space, and thus the air in the weapon's chamber, creating and shooting plasma down the barrel to the target.
