Childhood
Hong was born a Tiger in the wilds of China. He ran with his family for years, hunting and killing and mating and living. It was a good life, for the most part. Then the poachers came. They killed his parents and his mate, and in the horror he went through his First Change, becoming Khan. He killed the poachers, and eventually made his way to Hong Kong.

A Changed Life
In Hong Kong the confused kit was discovered by a local Hengeyokai Court, and he was taken in. He learned there how to pass as a human, and unlike many of his kind he found he quite enjoyed it. He took well to human life, and discovered a surprising gift for cooking and a love for food. He was one of the cooks for the Imperial Court before he began to get a serious wanderlust. He left China behind...and headed west.
