OOC INFORMATION PROVIDED BY STAFF

The Camarilla sphere on CoH has often been criticized as 'wine and cheese parties (yawn) with occasional drama over stupid crap (yawn)'. Obviously this is subjective and debatable, but I can at least understand where those opinions are coming from. Part of this is probably how hunting for blood has always been handwaved. OTOH, requiring checks literally every night would be overkill (you can't time-skip over quiet times like in a tabletop chronicle). Thus, I've put together a system for staff to do a set of rolls once a month, with the following house rules in mind:

xxxxx* Currently only used if a PC declares doing extra hunting to increase their blood supply (+rules dailies).

xxxxx* In addition to Perception + Herd (as in canon), several alternate styles of hunting are accepted (stolen from another game that ran for a few months back in 2016), picking the best pool for each PC:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Ambush (Stamina + Stealth)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Assault (Strength + Brawl or Melee or Athletics)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Scam (Manipulation + Subterfuge)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Stalk (Wits + Stealth)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Seduce (Appearance + Subterfuge)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Trap (Wits + Streetwise)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Dominate 1+ (Manipulation + Intimidation)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Presence 2+ (Charisma + Intimidation)

Note: Even if it would ICly fit your personality better to use a smaller pool, the rolls still use your largest one for simplicity.

xxxxx* Canon bonus for Fame is included. Canon penalty for looking inhuman is omitted for simplicity.

xxxxx* Difficulty is 4 to 6 based on how much sub-domain the clan has been granted. Details based on specific locations are omitted for simplicity. (Yes, everyone has access to the rack, but if you hunt there /all/ the time then the kine may start to remember you.)

xxxxx* If a roll is botched, then that specific PC inadvertently committed an IC Masq breach, which someone then needs to clean up.

xxxxx* Otherwise, if one or more rolls are failed, then a NPC in the clan with the most failures (ties broken to spread it around, or randomly) inadvertently committed an IC Masq breach.

Example: A test run of the system got three failures (2 Caitiff / 1 Tremere) and zero botches, so if it had been the real thing, then it would have been interpreted as some Caitiff NPC dropping the ball somewhere.

Any questions or concerns can be brought to staff via +request. Speak to your Primogen if any issues come up with this for your clan. If you don't receive a query from staff early in the month, then your clan's feeding succeeded without incident.
