I am the son of Ahroun Dances-with-Falcons, Silver Fang and Grand Elder of the great Sept of the City's Watchfire of New York. Grand-son of Theurge Gaia's Great Claw, Silver Fang and Elder of the Sept of the City's Watchfire. Great grand-son of Ragabash Father-of-Hundreds, Silver Fang and Grand Elder of the Sept of the City's Watchfire. Direct descendent of the unbroken line of great founding Elders of the Sept of the City's Watchfire, heir to the birthright Burden of the Delphian Oracles, and scion of the royal line of the Clan of the Crescent Moon." xxxxxHe always had visions - both awake and in his dreams (well... nightmares). He thought he just had an active imagination... but his parents knew better. His father was an Alpha of his pack and Sept Leader, his mother a beautiful Kinfolk of some mystical power herself - she in turn the child of an Alpha of another pack. His blood was pure. Leadership material from the start... and he grew up trained in all that he might need in the hopes that he'd have his First Change. And so he did, finding himself born under a Theurge moon, his oracular abilities blooming - as was his connection to the many riddles that it brought him. He was always connected to his lupine side, for while homid, he felt a deep connection to both Gaia and Luna that most homid did not. As if the spirit of the wolf were alive in him from the start. Perhaps that is why he felt a bit different than the other homids. Perhaps that is why he left his Sept to try a new start further south, away from the urban jungles of New York... xxxxxHe fostered with cousins in a pack in Georgia, building his life there. Along the way he befriended a Kinfolk of his own age. She hadn't had a First Change, so was destined to be betrothed to someone else in the tribe. He was a few years older and was graduating from grad school with a Masters in Parapsychology (certainly not a high-earning degree, but one so appropriate to his /real/ purpose) as she was graduating from college - and before either could be arranged to another, the two planned to depart for another Sept. The plan was for him to go first, heading for Prospect, California where he would set up a place for her to join. Only... she never came... And so he found his own path.
