| Hailey Jade Osborne was born on January 15, 2002 and died on June 1, 2020. Sort of. For a stretch of four or five days she wished she had, at one point she even begged to though she probably doesn't remember it. Hailey was a native of Prospect, CA where in life she was a semi-pro skater locally and a passionate street artist with a penchant for civil rights. Graffiti. She was a graffiti artist. Known for intricately detailed murals that flowed from a spray can like the classics did from a brush, she spent six months in juvie for her passion at the age of fourteen because she refused community service. That was when her parents left her in the care of her grandparents after telling her that she was a lost cause and a fucking embarrassment at best. She was pretty sure that came from their PR guy.

| Shiori: Shiori is the Toreador Primogen and one of the first friendly faces that Hailey saw upon being rescued by the Camarilla. Hailey's education has been mostly entrusted to her until someone steps up to take responsibility for her and the Imperator decides her fate. Hailey sees her as kind and gentle, capable of softening some very harsh truths.

| Amelie: Amelie, the Imperial Herald and Keeper of Prospect's Elysium. She was also among one of the first friendly faces that Hailey saw upon being rescued. Amelie has expressed interest in taking Hailey under her care should no Toreador express interest. Hailey would describe her as motherly, though she wouldn't admit to it right now.

| Paige: Paige, the Sheriff. The bad cop. Blunt. Like highkey blunt. Hailey isn't sure what to make of her, though her friend Opal absolutely adores her. With that in mind Paige must not be all bad but Hailey is still wary of her.

| Opal: Opal! Probably one of the most wholesomely optimistic people Hailey has ever met. Pretty, too. She says she's not much older (as a Cainite) than Hailey, but she really seems to have taken to the vampire thing and have her shit together.

| Oleksiy: Oleksiy, Scourge and the first voice of blunt reason who laid down the law for her. Hailey refers to him, perhaps affectionately, as "G-Man".

| Amos: Amos, Paige's Deputy. The good cop and Opal's adoptive Grand-Sire. Has a healthy amount of good will with Hailey, whatever good will from a fledgeling Toreador is worth anyway.

- Street Artist: The streets of Prospect are no stranger to Hailey's brand of art. Her clever use of contrasting colors create vivid scenes that seem to pop from their concrete facades. It's difficult to believe some of them came from a paint can. Aside from one tag early on all of her murals have been a commentary on the current state of society. Many were painted over but in later years some private property owners have begun to leave them; usually persons with an interest in the cause or idea behind the mural, or lovers of art who liken HailZ as Prospect's up-and-coming Banksy. She's been told she has to abandon her old life, but there's that one mural that HailZ hasn't gotten to finish...
- Fledgeling Toreador: She's so new she would still be under warranty if Cainites came with one. Embraced by nomads and left to die in the sun after four or five days of "fun" Hailey was saved and left for the Camarilla to find. Currently she is under house arrest at the Hotel Coral Essex where the Sheriff can keep an eye on her at least until the Imperator is informed. Her education has been entrusted to the Primogen of her clan and she cannot leave the hotel grounds without an escort.
- Skateboarder: A semi-pro, or at least she was. Hailey was a well-known figure in the local skate scene having won some Fame in local and regional tournaments. She was famous for her laser flip because many of her peers believed her too lightweight to pull it off. Officially? She disappeared two weeks before her first nationally televised tournament and her apartment cleaned out by movers. Rivals throw shade saying she chickened out and couldn't hang. Her fans? Well, they think she didn't want to become a sellout ... and recently there are rumors that sometimes you can catch a blue haired skater at the Hotel Coral Essex.
- Activist: Mostly through her art, but Hailey had been active at several civil rights events. Most notably walking (or in her case skating) in Prospect's annual Pride Day parade where she's professed her sexuality to be "open and fluid." She also supported several Black Lives Matter events and is in general what her father called a "liberal pain in the ass".
