To connect, telnet to game.cityofhopemush.net port 8888. (That's 216.136.9.8)

We also have a Facebook group and a Discord server

Mush Clients

For those unfamiliar to telnet, you need a mush client to connect. For those with Windows computers, we recommend:

There are other clients out there, but these two are used most often.

Once you have found the right client for your computer, you will can setup an address book with the game address listed above. Clients usually have settings where you can input your character name and password so you can select it and log in that way.

If you have any issues with logging in, please join the discord server and usually there are people that could help walk you through it.

Logging In

You can log in as a Guest (type connect guest guest at login) and then chat with other players on our Public and Newbie channels. Once you decide on a name that is available, log out and log in again with that new character name ( create Mayze password ) This will create your new character with that password. Only you will know that password. Any time after that, you will log in with connect Name password - where the Name is your chosen character name and the password is what you set as the password.

Lost Password

Note: If you lose your password, either WhoopingCrane or HoneyBadger can reset it. We need to verify that it is you. We prefer to send an email to the email you set when you accepted terms for playing on this game (only staff can ever see that email). Alternatively, a DM on discord could work if we can verify it is you.
