Domains
The prince holds Domain over his entire city. He then has the option of parceling out areas of control to be held by the Kindred of his choice. While the prince still holds ultimate authority, these smaller areas are a combination of fiefdom and controlled hunting preserve for the vampires lucky enough to receive them. Of course, these Kindred are also responsible for enforcing the city's laws within their domains, so domain comes with responsibility as well as authority.
As the Domain of a city is under the Prince's authority, the clans of the Praxis will be awarded control over various territories. Each clan who is granted a territory within the city must guard it carefully for fear that the Prince will award it to another, rival, clan. Though individual Havens may be located outside a clan's territory, the region is mostly a designation of where that clan feeds and where others may not.
Prospect is part of the Imperial Praxis of Greater Prospect, also including Carlsbad and Idyllwild. For an explanation of imperial domains, see pages 3-4 of this document.
