- Dyson owns and operates The Sideshow. There is active recruitment for performers (fire breathers, contortionists, knife jugglers) of many stripes. In addition to this he's always looking for more mundane help around the club such as waitstaff, security, cooks. Interested? Stop on by and maybe get a job. Artwork is also displayed here for local artists with only a small house commission for sales! Only thing is that he doesn't hire banality 8+.
- So when the Sidhe soul named Leras took over Dyson's body with his chrysalis he decided that the shell's family was not worth his time and left. Want to play a mortal (or "mortal") family member? Maybe someone else that knew him before and now gets to experience the after?
Fae RP Hooks!
- Dyson is Count of Prospect, otherwise known as the County of Lion's Reach. He holds the title with his wife, Countess Ionae. There is little secret that there are numerous plans for the County by the pair. Do you have plans in the County that would be shared? Are you new to Prospect and need to be introduced? Are you interested in the Court?
- Astral Seas is the name of Dyson's personal fief, held with his fellow Fiona and wife, Countess Ionae. Within it they hold the castle of Lion's Reach. Lion's Reach is the County Seat and their influence is great in the area. Very little transpires here without becoming eventually known to them and it is common knowledge that the land is intimately tied to them. The noble is the land and the land is the noble. This could not be more true than at Lion's Reach, for even quarrels between the pair cause the castle to tremble.
- The Sideshow, Fae Version:
- The Sideshow is also part of Dyson's fief and potential glamour-battery (via stream of potential Dreamers as well as freehold), ran with his fellow Fiona, Countess Ionae. It is highly suspected that a lot of what goes on there is simply to draw in glamour. He's pretty much hit any angle that he could, after all.
- The Faerie Market currently has its doors open. Traders have already been brought in! Are you a crafter or otherwise potential shop owner? Are you an adventurer that wants to seek dreamstuff for the crafters present? Opportunities abound!
- The Land of the Burning Sun:
- Did you come from the Kingdom of the Burning Sun? In specific, the Austin, TX area? Or maybe you were just passing through? Dyson had a not-so-stellar reputation in the area.
- Dyson was a shoe-in for this House. With his Fomorian blood (Fae version not Wyrm one), and additional 'quirks' there, it was expected that he would be joining them and doing very great things. He did not, instead enduring a vicious Fior to join House Fiona. Maybe your character knows about the scandal? Maybe they're Balor -- he is approached by them from time to time with claims of brotherhood. This never quite ends well, but one interesting fact of note: it is well established that he does not turn over/out any House Balor that he meets. Otherwise his faithfulness to his House is unquestionable. He tends to work twice as hard for his shortcoming after all.
- Elisia is a very not-nice Sidhe that Dyson has been linked with in the past. Theirs is a dark and twisted story and due to the fact that Elisia is wanted by various Seelie nobles she tends to pop in and out of places. She always, always makes an impression though and always leaves a trail of victims. Rumor has it that Dyson is still in contact with her, though when questioned he can never pinpoint a location. He'd turn her over, right? He says he would and various Gwydion say he is being honest. Want to know her or have had dealings in the past? Be one of her victims?
- Dyson is trying to organize the county, in particular communication so that things can zip from one fief to the next and everyone can be in the know. Want to be part of that? Make things happen? This is going to be a branching area, as he wants to get other things in order as well for things to move optimally.
