The Camarilla Hifumi is a quiet little Tremere that does what everyone else says. She doesn't offer opinions or attempt to direct conversations. She's just there and taking up space most of the time. This appears to be more out of habit than personality as she seems to have no problem talking outside of official boundaries. Maybe instead of habit the right word is learned behavior. The Clan Tremere Hifumi doesn't know Thaumaturgy and even if she wanted to learn it, it would fail. How does she know? Because it has been tried. A lot. She's not good at it. She was kind of cast aside and forgotten, which left her time to build her own portfolio of skills. That she's now in prospect is the result of her sire and the other Tremere in her old chantry being tired of looking at her. Hopefully, she can avoid the topic of Thaumaturgy at this chantry.
