Rowen was made, then broken so long ago she really does not remember the when, or why. The where she remembers, it was a dark and stormy night, really It was, and she needed a cab. She never made it to that cab, instead she met a man, a most remarkable man in a bowler hat with the coolest accent and a love of good books. She never made it home, never made it back to her life another lost soul in New York. She was remade, then transplanted into a new life, she was his light for a long time, and he named her Rowen Bright when things were good, and cursed her as Black Betty when things were bad.
