It was a hard, brutal life, and he was twenty when he received his freedom at the end of the Civil War. He ended up going out west and working a job in the cut while the railroads were being built to cross the United States. Embrace He was Embraced in 1871, by an Assamite who was in America taking contracts to hunt down some of the Sabbat who dwelled in the New World. He was a brutal killer for decades, before he found grace and became a Christian. There were a few others within the Clan, and they mainly had to keep their beliefs quiet. He worked more as a scout after that, instead of as a killer. Schism When the Ancient awoke and began slaughtering all female Assamites, or Assamites who did not walk the Path of Blood, or who had any religion other then in Haqim, Azariah left the Clan. He was acknowledged as a member of the Camarilla, along with numerous other Assamites. He was Acknowledged in 1998, in Kansas City. Humane Though he is a skilled killer who has had a very hard life, he is a changed Kindred. He is now a very warm and loving man.
