This bar is only part of what makes the Sanitorium so popular. With an Alchemist on deck the Afterlife is a nightclub that has actual drinks. Everything from pop to wine. It is also hilariously expensive, and thus only the most rich of restless are able to pay the exhuberant fees for it's wares. For everyone else it is a gentleman's club. Cages with drones who dance forever, openly able to be manipulated, manhandled and even beaten by the clientele with musical accompaniment by passing Chaunters. The Afterlife occupies the courtyard inside the Sanitorium, protected by reinforced glass to defend against Malestroms.

Arden's Relics and Antiquities

When the Artificer's don't take hold of a situation, leave it to an Alchemist to take the reigns. Arden is a Master Alchemist and serves as Sanitorium's premiere forgemaster. Arden has made a killing in the tri-county area forging relicsteel and soulsteel arms, armors and crafting relics. He charges high prices for his goods (or souls), but Arden's quality is known throughout the area.

The Cage

Sometimes, the best thing restless need is something to fill their vindictive bellies. The Cage is exactly as it sounds, a large soulsteel cage where restless are put in and only comes out. A Gladiatorial arena, complete with bets, puts thralls vs thralls in the hopes of gaining citizenship (freewraith status) by Bander who according to the rules is the only one who can do so. None have done so, so far and all have eventually fell to Harrowing. Or worse.

College of Reapers

The College of Reapers is an informal institution run by Halphas. Wraiths are taught the nature of the Caul, it's utility and meaning, and once they learn the ropes they are armed with their own reaping tools. This of course is a front and is instead used to cultivate future Slavers who owe debts to the West Coast Sixers. Why let the next generation get a free ride when you can endebt them to you forever?

The Ark

The Ark, whose convent occupies an old surgury auditorium, is the gathering spot for the Heretic Cult of the Ark of Suffering. A buddhist-inspired cult, the cult believes that life is suffering and therefore, a wraith's passions have to be burned out, rather than reconciled. Cultists routinely kidnap wraiths, learn their passions through all manner of tricks, and then force the wraith to fulfill these Passions (Dark as well) forever. The pathos generated is then stolen by the cult to fuel their continued "good works". Their charges are bound to the Arkanists, who keep tab on their charges fetters and will frequently use them to find and return their charge to the Ark for continued tutelage. No Arkanist does this to themselves, as they believe they are servants preparing souls for Nirvana. Thus, a soul ready for Nirvana destroys their passions rather than reconciling them. Life is suffering.

The Wall

People get very strange vibes when they go to the Sanitorium. Even entering the grounds itself feels troubling, like someone is watching you. There is. The Sanitorium took a page out of Stygia's book and is surrounded by a wall of souls that keeps the grounds secure. Routinely more restless are added to the Wall which constantly gives a soft, agonizing wail to any nearby who can hear them. The Wall is also manned by several Spooks on Bander's payroll.
