Bergin calls back as he's almost to the door to his camper, "hang on...need clothes." He informs and disappears inside before emerging a few moments layer in a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt loosely tossed over his shoulders. The man's walking barefoot with his boots in one hand with a pair of socks stuffed down into them as he walks up to the others. "Sorry - had to get cleaned up," he looks to the others and smiles and nods a hello to those gathered.

The wind picks up -juuuuuust- a bit. Normally this would be considered nothing out of the ordinary but since Killi went on her fire-stomping, Dalibor started digging through the embers and stuff it's just the -wrong- time for a breeze. Those paranoid folks who are looking around as though waiting for something to jump out from the shadows might, -might- spy a trio of raccoons huddle-crawling across the top of one of the rows of cars heading towards the entrance to the Stacks. One's carrying a wrench, the next is carrying a can of coke. The last in the line turns his head to watch the folk in the yard and seems to chitter-laughs as though it knew something.

Dalibor stops, as ordered, about halfway to the shelter of the Stacks. But he does sway a little. Gaia, please let him get out of sight soon, so he can shift and heal without fear of potential Veil breaches. At least before he passes out and ruins his carefully crafted image as a bad ass.

Bryan squints at the raccoons and turns to look right at Zoe. His brow arches and he shakes his head. "Nope. You're out of here. Come on." He turns to head back. "You've been marked.. touched.. something. You aren't coming back here until a Black Fury comes and gives it the okay." He calls out "Dalibor, do what you gotta do, then get the fuck out of the Stacks." Then he POINTS at Bergin. His tone is even, he isn't in a particularly foul mood, but he's most definitely in Athro mode. "No one goes into the Stacks until you've told YOUR elder what the fuck kind of bullshit is going on in here. The place is dangerous. The fucking wyld-ass raccoons and spiders and all that other bullshit are marking people. We're done here until you get it squared away. Do you understand me? If you don't clear it up, I'll go to the council myself and it will probably result in a cleansing. I'll take my share of the blame because I allowed it to go on."

He takes a deep breath and turns toward Zoe and the others. "The two of you are Get. I know you're new and you're Cliaths, but he is your kinfolk, so do what you can to assist him. I'm going to go eat and probably get high as fuck and I'm dropping you.." He looks at Zoe. ".. off at home, or you're coming with me. I don't care which, but tonight, this party's over." Not one time does he raise his voice, even if there's a little cursing involved. He isn't MAD. He's maybe a little confused and most definitely fed up with whatever sort of mystery is going on here.

Marked? That's just the kind of news Zoe needs. Mumbling an apology, she rubs her face with a hand that's wet from the ice, the combs her fingers back through her hair, upsetting some of the spiking and causing her hair to stick up in weird ways. "Whatever's safest." Conceding to the Elder's decision and leaving the choice up to him in where she ends up.

Dalibor frowns. Well, this could have gone much better. Maybe he should have just left the labrys in the fire. But Fenrir can be a bit 'strong-willed'. He inhales sharply as Berg is picking a fight that he might not win. Yup, definitely a 'strong-willed' tribe. Not like the Nation doesn't have more than a few of those.

==Killigrew Takes Her Leave==

Killigrew pauses in her steps and turns, putting a hand on Bryan's shoulder and giving it a squeeze, pairing it with a look. Sidestepping to the right, she pulls her hands out of her pockets and performs a deep, formal bow towards Bergin. "With all respect, Cliath Godi Foe-Hammer, it is not my place to decide what is or is not a danger to myself. As kinfolk, I cannot know everything that those with sharper senses and greater Wisdom have understanding of. The world I see and experience is very small compared to that of the Garou. If an Athro, of any Tribe or aspect of Luna's beautiful faces determines that a place, thing, deed, or action are dangerous, then it is my place to ensure that my lineage is not ended through disobedience of such warnings. You have my deepest apologies, Son of Fenrir, but my duty now is to heed the warnings and await instruction from Alecto, known as Howls-at-High-Moon, Elder of the Black Furies and Truthcatcher." All said while bent at the waist. When she finishes, Zoe straightens and turns, eyes cast towards the ground, moving to take the lead once more towards the way out of the 'yard.

A Quiet Evening

Bergin calls back as he's almost to the door to his camper, "hang on...need clothes." He informs and disappears inside before emerging a few moments layer in a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt loosely tossed over his shoulders. The man's walking barefoot with his boots in one hand with a pair of socks stuffed down into them as he walks up to the others. "Sorry - had to get cleaned up," he looks to the others and smiles and nods a hello to those gathered. "The Stacks? Nah...I don't want to freak them out until they know me a little better first..."

Detlef takes a sip of the mead that he has just been given, "Thank you for the drink as well. And I did meed Bergin last evening. thank you for ensuring that. He smiles just a little in a relaxed manner, "There is something special in the stacks?"

Dalibor wraps his arm around Zoe again. "Just wanted to make sure you know the local Fenrir." He pauses. "The Stacks are... different. I wouldn't recommend going in there without backup. And I'd bring some supplies. The path out is not always the same as the path in."

"What he means to say," Zoe starts, leaning against Dal when his arm loops around her shoulders again. "Is that it's a grand adventure and everyone should go in at least once." This is followed by a goodly drink from the bottle of berry booze that Branton made for the gatherings. "Definitely needs good wire cutters, though."

Detlef smiles a little more broadly, after a deep drink of his mead, "An adventure.. and alien paths.. " he looks like this is interesting to him "Well.. I am a Trailbreaker.. and Exploring is something I love to do."

Evonna has made her way back here, after taking a run around in the Forest earlier. She walks up having just heard grand adventure. "Not just a place to see, but a grand adventure? My interests are raise."

Bergin takes a seat around the fire, long enough for him to brush off his feet and pull on his socks while talking to the group, "So...uh...let me warn ya before they try and convince ya to wander into the place. The Stacks are like -full- of Wyld energy. I swear it's like someone didn't like all these old cars piled up and decided to personally try and balance the scale or something. So...things happen in there. Things are -found- in there that don't make sense."

With socks on, he steps into his boots as he becomes less and less naked. "But...they're an -excellent- place for curious Kinfolk to get themselves into trouble and Cliath to learn a thing or three about the world and...*thock*...themselves." The final boot slinks into place with an audible pop and he stands to pull together his shirt.

Dalibor raises an eyebrow. "I need to go back there some more, apparently. All I found was a bomber full of bombs." He frowns. "Did we ever confirm that the bombs were truly decomissioned?"

Evonna is enjoying the conversation, and sniffs in the direction of Dalibor. "Family?" She does not sniff any pure breed from him, so she looks between him, and Bergin for some explanation of the new guy to her. She offers her introduction, "I am Evonna Kummerow, rited Blood Thorn, Cliath Forsetti of the Fenrir, daughter of Henrich Kummerow, rited Bathes in Blood, Ahroun, son of Elder Godi, Helga Kummerow, rited Vision of Northern Lights. I assume my brother here already spoke?"

Killigrew nods towards Evonna when she joins in the gathering around the bonfire. "Mm, so far I've found an effigy to the Rat King, a funky mossy area that tried to eat me, that bomber - and no, we haven't. And a giant tree made of metal with nasty guardian spiders that turn things they touch into metal." When the introduction begins, she quiets, taking another drink from the bottle of berry flavored swirly booze Branton made a couple weeks ago.

"That's probably a really bad idea," Bryan says as he comes around the corner, lugging an entire axel in one arm, muscles straining, sure, but .. it's an ENTIRE axel, and he's in homid, so you can take that to mean what you will. "It's WYLD in there. It's dangerous. If I was into stepping on other people's toes, I'd set it on fire and watch it burn and dance in the ashes." But he isn't, so there's that. "Not enough light back there."

Detlef looks over at his sister and grins a little to her, clearly the adventure bug is one they share. "We may have to do a little exploring soon.. " he looks to Bergin though and offers "With your permission at least."

Bergin nods, "We've been introduced," he finishes buttoning up his flannel and turns his attention to the man carrying the axel. "ya got that?" he asks and takes a step towards Bryan incase he needs some kind of assistance. Figuring that the guy was able to get the huge hunk of metal all the way here from the stacks suggests that he's fine with it but there's still a point of offering to help. "Oh...you wanna go - you go. I'm not going to stand in the way of anyone who wants to learn something. Just remember that stuff happens and that you should be on your guard and not -everything- is trying to kill ya. There are lessons to be learned."

Dalibor nods and bows his head to Evonna. "Yes indeed on both counts. Dalibor Gataric, rited Burns-the-Night. Cliath Modi Fenrir and son of the Godi Andrej 'Cleaves the Sky' Gataric." His accent is very Eastern European.

Evonna grins to Bryan, "Strong feelings about this, and you are Elder here." She looks to Detlef and speaks in German to him a moment.

"Bryan's only been in once." Zoe says, contented to stay leaning against Dal, drinking from the bottle. "That was when we found the bomber, chock full of supposedly decommissioned bombs. Good times." She says, glancing at the fire, and digging the altoids tin out to fetch another joint.

"Got it." Bryan sets down the axel carefully and leans over to peer at it more carefully. "Probably MOST of the stuff is harmless, until a Cliath wanders in there on a full moon and something goes after him and he frenzies and hurts someone." He FROWNS at the axel and makes a little grumbly sound. "Wrong one. I'll put it back here in a bit." Right now, it's a fucking chair. He turns around and sits on it. "It reminds me a LOT of my time in the Umbra and maybe it's just some sort of weird Garou version of PTSD, but I don't like it in there at all. I just can't tell you if it's personal or if it's intuition."

Detlef nods once to Evonna, He offers her a drink of his fruity mead drink, then back to the others to listen to what they are talking about. Clearly trying to glean information from them.

Bergin offers a brief account of what's been discovered back there so far, "Well, there's the Rat king...and that's a cool place. Those little buggers -love- pizza. Kinda like the coons love coke, but I digress. Then there was the bomber that probably -shouldn't- be in a scrapyard in Southern California, a automotive verision of Stonehenge and a particularly -in.....teresting- metal tree."

Foe-Hammer smiles and looks over to Bryan to ask, "You want something to drink?" It's a simple, considerate offer extended to the highest rank in the group first. If he's thirsty the Get theurge will fetch him something but before he moves he turns to the others to ask the same question before heading to the cooler on wheels.

Evonna takes the offered drink, and takes a long sip. "Gute. Should get more." She looks over to Bryan. "Sounds like you have had many battles, now they haunt. May future be brighter."

Stuff Gets Wierd

Killigrew double takes to the fire, tensing up against Dalibor's side. Tugging away, she leans down to get a better look, then jerks back, kicking the wood of the fire over and starting to try and stomp out the flames. The soles of her shoes heat up, skate shoes have thin soles, and are sure to be ruined, but she seems determined to randomly murder the fire by trampling it to do death.

Dalibor says, “The Stacks are very strongly touched by Wyld. Go in there twice, follow the same route, and apparently you will find two different things." Tough for him to comment, as he's only been in there once himself. "Basically, it is incredibly random." He tilts his head as Zoe 'freaks' out for no apparent reason. He feels the hair on the back of his neck rise. He looks around as he wraps the Kin more closely in his arm, gently pulling her away from the fire before she burns herself. "Zoe?”

Detlef furrows his brow and looks to Killigrew "What.. are you doing Zoe?" he looks at her oddly "Do not hurt yourself."

Bergin looks from Killi, to the fire, and then back. "Uh..." he only saw the last bit of her fire-stompin as he was fetching drinks but seems a bit confused by what he's seeing. His eyes do a quick scan of the yard and then looking up to the sky to see if something might have set her off but...nothing; at least not physically.

Evonna raises her brow, watching the kin. "Did the fire hurt you? You stomp much at it." She is unsure what to make of this.

One last toe-stomp as she's moved away. It's not like she's -sober-. Zoe wriggles against the hold on her, trying to slip it. "There's something -in it-." She totally saw something, and it needs to be snuffed.

Bryan is a little slow on the uptake tonight, for whatever reason. He missed the thing abuot the drink and something with the fire...? He looks up from where he sits on the axel sort of just.. perplexed, blinking

Dalibor squeezes Zoe. "It's ok, Zoe. I can do this without getting burned." And then he heads over to the fire and starts sorting through the firepits coals by hand, looking for anything that shouldn't be there.

Bergin hands out drinks as Dalibor investigates the fire and Killi seems to have freaked...out...or something. "So...you gonna be ok Fury?" he asks, invoking the woman's tribe to see if that might get her attention during this momentary lapse in...something. Evonna looks to her brother, speaking in German again. There is concern in her voice.

"Zoe? What the fuck just happened?" Bryan stands, but he doesn't seem like he's in that big of a hurry. She's been drinking. He can fix it if he needs to, or if it's something else.. or.. like.. who knows what. He's still a little confused. Evonna says in German, "Could the Wyld they speak of have infected further? This does not make sense."

Detlef says in German, "Im not sure.. I thought I picked up on something. But I cant be sure what. It might just have been the flames dancing."

Dalibor tilts his head, blinking. Huh. He's not sure what he was expecting, but this isn't it. He looks at where everybody is located. Spotting a empty patch of dirt beside the firepit. "Everybody stand back. And Berg, could you grab me a bottle of water, please?" He takes a deep breath and reaches into the bed of coals. This is a really, really dumb idea. He grabs something and immediately grimaces. Is that a sizzling you can hear? He pulls his hand out of the fire and drops something, as quickly as possible, onto the flat patch of dirt. He is looking a little pale after that stunt. He might be essentially fire proof, but whatever he pulled out of the fire wasn't fire... and it hurt.

"I don't know, I just saw... something." Zoe's not even sounding all that certain herself, really. The human brain is wired to see things in the shapes of other things. And it has been an especially trying day. Backing up, she stuffs one hand in her pocket, the other occupied by the bottle of red swirly stuff while she watches Dalibor pull something out of the ashes.

Bryan looks a little bit of everywhere. He becomes a little more alert, standing a little straighter, moving over toward Zoe, because she's the kinfolk. He doesn't block her view, but he is most definitely in front of her, ready for... what the fuck ever to happen. He does NOT look happy.

Bergin is confused but takes a few long-stepped strides over to the cooler to fetch the man some water and all but leaps back - thinking that he's somehow hurt himself.

Detlef answers Evonna briefly in German, then looks back to the others, curious more than concerned right now."

Dalibor takes the offered bottle of water with his left hand and removes the cap with his teeth, spitting it out. And then slowly and carefully pours the cold water over his right hand, which is curled up. He closes his eyes and grinds his teeth together as he gets very, very pale - as a little steam rises of his right hand. After the bottle is emptied, he stands there grimacing for a few moments. "I... I will be back in a few moments." And he starts walking unsteadily back towards the Stacks. He needs to be out of potential public view for this next part.

Evonna stands to the side, but a step in front of her brother. Ever the protector she is of her bigger younger brother. She watches Dalibor and blinks. "Should someone follow him?"

Wierder Stuff Happens

Killigrew puts a hand on Bryan's shoulder, peering out from around the Coggie. There's a glance tot he stacks and the raccoons and the kin frowns. "That's not good. Last time I saw them, one of the spiders tried to follow us out of the Stacks and they killed it." she says, glancing to the others, then moving to go follow Dalibor, pausing to grab a big two handed scoop of ice out of the cooler on the way.

Bryan shakes his head, physically taking hold of Killigrew's hand and drawing her assertively toward Evonna. "Do. Not. Move." Bryan is in Big Boy Undies mode and he calls out to Dalibor. "Stop where you are, Dalibor. There's shit happening." He STOMPS in that direction, calling out in a series of chitters and squeaks to the raccoons, as if it was his native language.

Evonna steps over in front of Zoe, protecting her while Bryan does his thing. She may not know what the freakin' hell is happening, but she knows when an Elder makes it clear it is time to protect the kinfolk.

The last of the coons, upon hearing Bryan, chitter-squeak at it, pauses. It's like you called your dad by his -full- name after he caught you doing something. The small furry creature turns and tilts his head a bit and points a paw at Killi, chitters something, and then continues with the others towards the Stacks.

Detlef shrugs to Evonna at a bit of a loss himself. He seems inclined to let those that know him lead the way on that. He will follow once the others have decided. Curiosity wont let him do otherwise.

Pulled towards Evonna and Detlef, the ice she was grabbing gets scattered. Killi knows better than to protest, though, sidling behind Evonna and Detlef, then backing up so they have plenty of room if things get hairy. "Bryan?" This followed by a worried look towards where Dal went.

"No one goes into the Stacks until you've told YOUR elder what the fuck kind of bullshit is going on in here. The place is dangerous. Not one time does he raise his voice, even if there's a little cursing involved. He isn't MAD. He's maybe a little confused and most definitely fed up with whatever sort of mystery is going on here.

Dalibor raises his good left hand. "Please... wait a minute? I think... this is meant... for Zoe." And with that he scurries out of sight. Dalibor heads back to the stacks.

Evonna just puts her arm across her chest, fist clenched, and nods to Bryan, heeding the words of the Elder.

Dalibor emerges from the stacks.

Marked? That's just the kind of news Zoe needs. Mumbling an apology, she rubs her face with a hand that's wet from the ice, the combs her fingers back through her hair, upsetting some of the spiking and causing her hair to stick up in weird ways. Bergin Asks Questions

Bergin was watching the Coons as they leave and then turns his attention to Bryan as he speaks, "Are -these- your lands, Chases-The-Wind-Rhya?" The lumberjack of a shaman's voice is calm and respectful but something's touched on a note that's got him asking questions now. "Are -you- the guardian of this Yard?"

Detlef moves over a little closer to Evonna, listening to each of the things said. He speaks to Evonna quietly so as not to interupt the rest of the people talking

After several minutes, Dal returns from the Stacks - slowly flexing his right hand. And he doesn't look quite so deathly pale. He's not doing great, but at least he's not in any danger of passing out. He slowly makes his way to the group. "I think this was meant for you, Zoe. You spotted it first and... it screams Black Fury to me." He looks around the gathering. "And that's all of one person currently here." He retrieves what he pulled from the fire - a metal item, about the size of his index finger. What looks like a pendant of a snake wrapped around a small labrys. (imgur.com/p4TgCM3)

Bryan pauses, because he's worried about Dalibor, but then ALSO Bergin's words. He reaches Zoe's side and starts to say something to her, then turns slowly toward Bergin. "No, Foe-Hammer. I am not. But I AM an Athro of this Sept. If you are willingly putting the members of your Tribe and kinfolk of another tribe in danger, then that's on you. Those of your tribe are welcome to stay if they choose, but I am taking the kinfolk out and if you choose not to speak to YOUR elder, then I will do so, and in addition, I will speak to the elder council. Imagine if I had to tell Alecto that you were bitching about territory when you're putting HER kinfolk at risk." Yeah, he might be a little bit pissy now, but he ain't gonna freak out or anything. He turns to Zoe. "Come on. We'll talk about it on the way." When dalibor comes back, he eyeballs the pendant and shakes his head. "She isn't touching it right now, Dalibor. Who knows what th epurpose is. Keep it safe. Give it to her Tribe to deal with." He takes a breath and turns to Zoe, holding out a hand to indicate she should go ahead of him.

Evonna shakes her head, replying to Detlef in German. She isn't going to get into the middle of this dispute right now. Not enough information.

Best to be quiet and compliant. Zoe starts to reach, not for the pendant, but to touch Dalibor's elbow, giving him a worried look. "It should be cleansed, I suspect." she says softly, nodding to him before backing up and turning to go, shooting the brother and sister of Fenrir an apologetic look as she moves to let Bryan bring up the rear. Makes sense, with the perceived danger behind her as she moves out of the Scrapyard, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

Bergin glances around, gesturing around the yard. "Who is at risk? What has happened other than she...uh...stomped the fire to death after she said she saw something? Ironsides-Rhya knows full well that the stacks are touched by the Wyld. Almost everyone who has put two -feet- back there knows that. But you are -well- within your rights as senior member of the Sept to escort the Kinfolk of another tribe where you -think- she is safest." Mr. Flannel shirt turns to Killi and asks her one of his questions, "Unless she -doesn't- think that she's in danger here." Because questions always lead to more questions, "Otherwise, it wouldn't be escourting her at all...would it?"

Killigrew Takes Her Leave

Evonna looks to Zoe before she will leave, "Do let Truthcatcher know I would like to meet her?"

Bryan's brow rises just the teensiest bit when Bergin questions him. His head tilts ever so slightly to one side and he's pretty clearly sizing Bergin up. Oh, he could take him. ABsolutely. No question about it, with his eyes closed, with one foot tied behind his head. One good smack and he'd be regenning teeth. And it wouldn't be because he was mad either. Because he isn't mad. Not even a little bit. He'd do it just because Bergin deserved a whack in the face for making Bryan being the Grown up. He lets Zoe speak for herself, then turns to head out behind Zoe, pretty clearly keeping himself between her and EVERYTHING else.

Well it would be just fitting that the red head trouble maker would be coming in just about now would it. Erin comes in kinda bouncing though as she nears and things look pretty tense she pauses and looks around. She did hear Zoe and her brow raises. She looks confused and looks from one face to the other as if oh shit what happend. She does seem to wait though as she stands back not getting any closer for now. The rocking starts and so does the chewing on her lip. She looks to Bryan and blinks then looks to Bergin her face screams WTF but at least her mouth has learn not to say it.----- Erin

Bryan also points at Erin and shakes his head. "Not a good idea to be here tonight, miss Erin." But she isn't Garou kin and he isn't going ORDER her around.

"As...you...wish." Bergin's three words are spoken softly, slowly...almost deliberately and he takes a step back from Bryan and the kinfolk as they seem to be leaving the yard.

Zoe's step falters with those three words and she sucks in a breath, then dips around the boundary of the 'yard and out of sight.

Of course Erin would ask the stupid question to Bryan as she looks at him "How come, what happend?" she looks to Bergin and then back to Zoe and Bryan "Is everyone ok?" what he isn't awww.

Bryan follows Zoe, shaking his head a little.

Erin looks behind her to the people that just left then looks to those that are left as if wondering if someone is going to explain or not.

Bergin turns to Dalibor once Bryan and Killigrew leaves and asks, "Are you injured badly?" The bearded healer pulls back one of the sleeves of his flannel should the tribesmen need his touch.

Evonna asks, "Cleansing need done? I do not know it yet, but want to learn?"

Erin throws her hands up in the air and turns around and just walks away grumbling under her breath and shaking her head.

Bergin turns to Evonna and offers, quickly, "I can teach you. It's something everyone should learn. But how about we do it in the morning. Sound good to you?" The flannel-wearing theurge seems a bit drained by the interaction with the senior Sept member but there are some things that just set a Get off.

Dalibor shakes his head. "No... I'm fine. Mostly. I just need a little more time to finish healing, but it can wait. The serious damage is cleared."

Bergin nods and then turns to the the others, "Excuse me - I gotta call Aldric."

Evonna nods to Bergin.

Bergin leaves the yard and heads into the shop.

Dalibor sighs. "It is not usually this crazy here. Our crazy is usually much less painful."

Evonna will take her brother now, and head to the forest for tonight. "Hope so. We shall see."
