Ashe is an Economist, working for the philanthropic Shao Foundation. She moved to Prospect from Reno, and has been an IT Tech and Personal Trainer.
She married Shao Meixiu in 2025. Mei is a philanthropist, and her Mentor in the Society of Ether.
Ashe has seen a few things, been around a few blocks, and learned not to get upset over the small stuff.
Ashe is entirely her own invention at this point. She's in that part of life where maintenance makes you choose the parts of yourself you value enough to keep up.
If she were a fancy lass, she'd be an autodidact. As it is, she's just unqualified. She doesn't have any degree, much less the doctorate expected of an Economist not sleeping with their boss.
Ashe may be a little deeper under her playful snark.
Ashe believes that magic should not be hostage to culture. If magic cannot free a mage from the tyranny of other people, what good is it?
She leaves Spirits to the Dreamspeakers, and she's no uber hackerkid, but she knows her way around the Digital Web and Video Game wizardry.
Ashe is learning Hypereconomics, and starting to get magic-as-investment.
She may be a bore, and a boor, killing conversations left and right, but she's not a stick-in-the-mud. Ashe moves fast, breaking up her own drama to make room for something new.
