shut. Could it be serious this time? Could this be the recipient of the much
talked about drunk text he sent from several dozen feet up a tree in the
viral video that's been making the rounds since Christmas? Has billionaire
financeer Alex Kora's prodigal brother landed himself an exotic princess?
Needless to say, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for a huge rock on Lady X's
finger, because if Zack knows what's good for him, he'll hurry up an 'seal
the deal' before she realizes exactly how far out of his league she is!

happened to be passing by when he caught sight of the very obviously drugged
up lottery winner lunging towards a young purple-haired woman who was passing
by local club 'The Crypt'. As you can see by our exclusive photos the newly
made millionaire rushed out of the club and sexually accosted the young lady
before rushing away as police came onto the scene.
The photos above the text show a wide-eyed (and slightly crazy-looking) Pete
grabbing Timara's left breast as she tries to pull away from him. A follow up
shot shows Pete escaping around a corner while Timara and an accompanying man

Thanks Frank. As you all know last months storm tested the city's
preparedness and emergency services plan. Landslides, flash floods and large
hail caused a wide variety of death and destruction throughout the city. Many
people wisely stayed home where it was safe. What about those people without
proper homes? I braved the harsh weather to bring you this report. As a
testament to the good nature of our city even the homeless forgotten dregs of
society were doing what they could to help those in need. In one illegal
squatters village in an Abandoned Apartment they opened their doors and
shared their meager subsistance supplies of food with the overflow of people
left homeless during the storm. I took the time to speak to some of the
people who were sheltering there though the local gangs refused to allow a
camera crew in. Here are some of the highlights.

Ben> "So Mildred, what has your experience been like taking shelter in such a
dangerous area?"
Mildred> "Surprising, just surprising Ben. Everyone's so hard bitten and
criminal but they have the most delightful muffins here. I've only heard one
murder but I'm told he was a rapist and had it coming. I think our justice
system could learn a thing from these poor dears. Some of them are good
Christian lads who are just misunderstood."

for shelter. What's it been like living around all these criminals?"
Chet> "Duude. Like totally hardcore. I picked up an X-Bone for like $50! It was

having any pictures taken or give her name. However she showed us around
explaining the way this Anarcho-Tribal Commune functioned. I have to agree

than money over the next two weeks, with the launch of its "Love Your Self"
promotional campaign.
From now until Valentine's Day, anyone visiting an O'Tolley's between 9am and
5pm could be selected to perform a "random act of Lovin'".
The deal is outlined in a Super Bowl ad from the company, which will air in the
US on Sunday but is already posted on its YouTube page:
The participants will be chosen "at randomized, predetermined times", according
to the company's website, and there will only be 100 winners at each

The American Planning Association announced the Gaslamp District in Prospect,
CA has earned the designation as one of the 10 Great Neighborhoods for 2014.
Each October during National Community Planning Month, APA's Great Places in
America program names 30 exemplary streets, neighborhoods and public spaces
that add value to communities and foster economic growth and jobs. APA's
Great Streets, Great Neighborhoods and Great Public Spaces feature unique and
authentic characteristics that have evolved from years of thoughtful and
deliberate planning by residents, community leaders and planners.
"Recognizing these special places highlights the role planning plays in adding
value to communities," said Lorraine Allen, FAICP, president of APA.
"Planners, working with others, help build better communities in a variety of
settings, from urban to rural; the result-- better neighborhoods, cities and
regions. We applaud these efforts and congratulate this year's designees."
Immediately south of the heart of Prospect's downtown is its Gaslamp District,
a downtown neighborhood developed in the second half of the 19th century as a
streetcar suburb of the original city. Designed in a compact,
pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use development pattern with a modified ward
structure and street grid, the Gaslamp District's short city blocks and mix
of residential and commercial establishments and parks make it one of
Prospect's most walkable neighborhoods.
Approximately 33 million business and recreational travelers come to Prospect
each year, the majority of whom visit the Gaslamp District to admire its
homes, architecture and 30-acre Bryant Park, which has been central to the

The City announces the completion of its negotiations with Developmental
Neogenetics Amalgamated to bring a division to Prospect. The building and
completion of the Research Park will be a boon to an often poor and run down
section of the Harbor District. Located at Harbor and Market in a space
currently occupied by a dilapidated greenhouse and condemned Chemist shop.
These two buildings and much of the block will be leveled to make room for a
state of the art research facility along with room for other medical science
companies to move in. When speaking with D.N.A. spokesman Arcturus Dent he
was asked about the people living in the block that will be displaced by this
he was quoted as saying:
"This opportunity cannot be passed up. There is plenty of housing in
the surrounding blocks and this will bring a massive number of jobs to the
area. All in all the construction will be a benefit to the people of

Two editions of Late Nights With Becky Smalls in a row have been cancelled by
the radio station. Miss Smalls, a local resident who's show reaches a
national audience, has not been seen or heard from since early monday
evening. A hurried press release by her PR team has stated that they have
been unable to contact Miss Smalls, and that until such a time as she can
return to hosting her show, the nightly slot will be replaced with re-runs.
Miss Smalls has in the past become well known for her eccentric behavior, and
many believe that she has suffered some serious nervous breakdown and
retreated from the public eye. However, with no contact from the woman, her
location and reason for such a withdrawl are unknown.

At noon on Monday Police raided a notorious whiskey and meth bar thought to be
connected to the criminal known as Carl Carlson on D St. and Harbor Dr. on an
anonymous tip. The raid netted at least $300,000 worth of methamphetamine,
weapons and drug equipment.
Police spokesman Charles Schuster commented "I wish more citizens did their
upstanding duty to help their Police find and root out these criminals.
Bravery like this shouldn't be hidden but rather rewarded. However we
understand the desire to avoid possible revenge attacks by these criminal

building on an empty street. Armed men in Uniforms and body armor storming
the entrance*
"However a riots not what they found. According to Sgt. Banks the head of the
Prospect PD SWAT Team who had this to say to Prospect News..."
* A grizzled man in his early forties with a high and tight hair cut, body
armor and a perpetual scowl addresses the camera he is caught mid-sentence. "
... Upon making entry my team found the place nearly deserted with no sign of

The camera snaps back to a closeup of Erzsebet's face. Erzsebet looks over at
the camera with tears standing in her eyes. The psychiatrist says with a
tremulous voice. "Becky is my friend...one of my only friends.."
The camera pans away to avoid showing Erzsebet's pained face and goes back to
the anchor in the newsroom. "We're in the midst of confirming some of our
information. The Prospect Police Department has confirmed that they have
checked the claims made by the girlfriend of Becky Smalls and have found no
evidence of foul play. Her Producer has confirmed that he has been in contact
with Miss Smalls and that she explained her unexpected absence. Rumor has it
that the good Doctor and Miss Smalls met at Teatro Di Sofferenza, a hot
bondage night club well known for its scandelous floor shows. We're waiting
to hear back from Miss Small's agent to confirm or deny the rumored

Scandaleaux was raided by police today in connection to a criminal
network operating a organ harvesting ring.

Bus of Hippies Arrives! Fri Mar 13 Free

Early in the predawn hours of March 13th, 2015, a painted and written
on 1970's RV filled with people trundled into Prospect. It apparently houses
a gran total of ten people in it, ranging in age from three to seventy. All
of them are undoubtably hippies, with dreads, worn clothing, loud music and
similar. They've been seen posted outside the Park with signs that say
'SMILE' and 'EVERY DOLLAR HELPS', and of course, 'ANYTHING GREEN HELPS,' in
addition to 'WILL WORK FOR HELP'. They've been playing music and making heart
symbols at passerbys with their hands, raising little bits of money to keep
going.
The apparent leader is a nineteen year old girl going by the name
'Free'.

Despite the insane rumors of foul play and the like, it would appear
the missing host of 'Late Night with Becky Smalls' is alive and well - and
touring the western seaboard. Having been spotted playing the tables at a
Vegas casino to dancing it up at L.A.'s premier dance club, this girl surely
knows how to party. In light of this recent development, her show has been
cancelled and is no longer in syndication. That's right, you heard it here

After an incredibly rough year and final fourth quarter reportings
released, the local Inis Fail Winery is going through a sale. Sources cite
that stiff competition, poor crop yielding, and mismanagement as likely
contributors to the overall downturn of this once family enterprise.

It's raining Jacksons - the celebrity style. Prospect has opened her
arms to the wonderful Tricia Jackson of Talarian fame. She was recently
spotted dancing it up at Club Eden, which proudly boasts none other than

New construction has begun at the Montserrat Recreation Center on F Street and
Ash.
The center is scheduled to be finished in June, said Hugo Wilkins, president of
Kenneth Wilkins Construction Inc., which has been selected to work on it.
The center will contain a 5,000-square-foot library, exercise facilities,
meeting rooms and a commercial-grade kitchen.
Money for the project is being provided by the Village Green Foundation, which
has raised $6.5 million of its $8.7 million goal.
"Although we are moving forward, we are not quite done with fundraising," said
executive director Eloise Lyons. "What we have done is secure some interim
financing that will allow us to go forward so that we do not experience cost
escalations. We want to finish the fundraising at the same time the building
is being done."

This just in. Last night the local legend Babylon was raided by police
after a call from security at a neighboring business called in about the
noise. Apparently the serial trespassers have been getting sloppy. The police
department claims that undercover police officers discovered evidence of drug
trafficking, prostitution, and racketeering in addition to violation of state
liquor laws and a variety of city ordinances, not to mention trespassing.
Several witnesses claim that the Police made an unlawful search, that
the club was there with the owner of the property's permission (who they
claim is an avid raver himself), and that the excessive force used by the
police during the raid against largely unarmed civilians breached their civil
rights. Here's what one witness had to say,
Witness: "Hey man! This is Bulls***! We're here legit! They got no cause to

Carnegie Theatre Re-Opening Tue May 05 Brice

The Carnegie Theatre will be re-opening to the public. The theatre,
which has had a history of delivering the performing arts to the public, has
been in a state of suspension over the last few months. Mr. Brice Godelieve,
Co-Owner to the Theatre, has returned from an extended business trip. In a
brief interview, he informed the press that Mz. Mirela Leopold was also on
some important business, and that unfortunately, she couldn't be here to tend
to the theatre. Brice quoted, "The show must go on," before informing us that
he intends to have a few events in the near future to attempt to bring in
possible talent as well as those who may just want to have a good time in
celebrating art.
The Carnegie Theatre will be open to the public for those interested in
applying to perform. Mr. Godelieve states, "Those who enjoy performing, be
they professional or amateur, are welcome here. We'll need to fill the seats
so bring your friends."
Mr. Godelieve also indicated that he hopes local comedians may come by
as well.
"There's an art in making people laugh. These days, I feel that it is a
necessary thing."
He ended our interview in stating that he hopes people with ideas come
to him as well. There will be some job opportunities for those who seek it.

Tommy Biz from the Celebrity Gossip desk here. It looks like there's a
new dance club in town and it emphasizes discretion. Several high profile
stars were scene entering the new club located just off the highway, but
attempts for the press to make it past the door were all diverted by
security. This reporter was told that he was neither 'pretty enough, nor
famous enough to gain entry'. Our intern Jessica Statholme on the other hand
was (pretty enough at least), and this is her account of what goes on inside.
"Ok, here's the down low. It's called 'Secrets'. There's no cameras allowed,
none, nada, zip, zero. They even took my cellphone which drove my bosses
nuts. The security was nice enough but *very* thorough in their pat down.
Once inside though, I'll say this, it's dark. There's a not a lot of color
except maybe the dresses. It feels like an old black and white movie, except
the dresses kind of 'pop' you know? I think the walls are black and the floor
mostly white and it's not too crowded yet, but that will likely change as
word spreads. The people on the dance floor were pretty visible and I could
see, Chris and Tom easy enough despite the darkness. The bar looked top notch
with all the top shelf stuff, even the hard to get stuff. There's a VIP area
on a raised platform, but it's weird, there are all these lit screened off
areas and you can only see peoples shadows. Most of the A-listers seemed to
gravitate to those areas eventually, and that's where I lost sight of them.
Oh! And the music was hard rock, kind of an interesting choice. I would have
thought more pop or club music, but no.. Oh, and I got to talk with a
celebrity about why they came to this place. They said, 'with all the
paparazzi out there, it's nice to find a place that you don't have to worry
about being caught on camera. It really lets you relax'. That said.. just
between you and me, that sounded kind of rehearsed and I wouldn't be
surprised if they were paid to-"

A new indie studio b?Guerrilla Viewb didn't make such a great introduction to
Prospect last weekend. At a shot that suppose to take place at popular
restaurant b?Joe's Pizza and Beer b? went astray. The actors had take their
places and the cameras hidden across the restaurant the scene was ready to
go, the only problem was that no one had bothered to make sure the extras
weren't in on it. In fact the director/star Cynthia Mark had wanted such a
authenticate reaction that she had told none of the crew that public wasn't
informed that they were shooting. The result was tragically predictable once
the prop guns and low budget special effects were introduced, there was a
flurry of calls to the police. Once everything was settled the city has
suspended the film license for the small company and possible fines, pending
any further investigation.

As day three of the Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks in, coverage
from the Tellus Enterprises press conference starts to trickle onto the
internet, complete with live coverage on sites like Twitch and Twitter from
prominent gaming personalities. While a few of the announcements were very
much expected, like the much-awaited reveal of actual gameplay footage from
upcoming RPG 'Warlock: the Delusion Bloodpacts' based on Black Dog Game
Studio's popular Warlock: the Delusion line and co-developed with Perestroika
Games. Other announcements, however, showed up entirely new IPs never so much
as hinted at before.
One reveal that drew a great deal of commentary on the internet was
that of upcoming third person brawler 'Tentapocalypse', described by some of
the internet comments as the bastard child of Splatoon and Bayonetta, though
the level of violence involved seemed to be more reminiscent of games like
Mortal Kombat or God of War. The game stars Japanese college freshman Mikuru
Yagami, a troubled youth blessed with magic tentacle powers by the Lords of
Hell and tasked with bringing about the end times. Though the anime-based
artstyle is almost cutesy at first, the gameplay shown is almost excessively
violent (par for the course for a Tellus title), including sexual violence.
There was mention of a 'Desecration System(tm)', allowing Mikuru to break her
foes and bend them to her will, as well as incubating clones in them as a
somewhat controversial take on extra lives.
Tentapocalypse quickly received praise for its stunning graphics, fluid
gameplay and its strong female protagonist, though detractors complained
about the level of gore and the sexual content. Tellus PR reps defended their
'design philosophy', pointing out that it doesn't go that far beyond what's
been readily available in anime for decades at this point. The game is
scheduled for release in February of 2016, and is expected to receive an 11+
rating in Japan, 17+ in most of the world, and an outright ban in Australia
and Germany.

In what appears to have been a violent gang war, the entire Mayan Legion's
Cartel leadership, along with several low ranking guards, have been
completely wiped out. The scene was graphic, men impaled to walls with pipes,
limbs torn off, even bite marks. One man was decapitated, his head hanging by
a hook from the ceiling. The Mayan Legion was known for its' hit and run
tactics against police, and for their brazen gun point banditry on highways
near Prospect. One theory is that they were becoming a growing threat to
larger cartels and that they were removed from competition. While police
suspect that it was a rival gang responsible for the carnage, there are no

Reggie Cruz, recently accused of Vehicular Manslaughter and Reckless
endangerment was found dead in his prison cell early this morning. Cause of
death was listed as internal bleeding and asphyxia. It is currently unknown
as to Mr. Cruz' medical history. A complete toxicology and autopsy report
will soon be forthcoming. Reggie's family is demanding justice and Prospect
Corrections is being blamed by people in the Cruz camp. Cruz was responsible
for the death of activist Eva Zaitzev on Sunday evening.
Camera switches to an interview with Reggie's emotional widow. "I mean sure he
had his problems," the bereaved woman sobs. "But he didnt mean it! He was a
nice guy when he wanted to be. I love him so much!"

When I met with author Brandon Jenkins, he was cozily tucking into a
meal at the Jolly Dragon, a medieval inn, very authentic, in the midst of a
city where technology and modernization abound. Both the author and the inn
were a breath of fresh air. I, myself, enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie and have
since returned for the delicious food served by the friendly wait staff at
the Jolly Dragon.
Wearing one of his vampire shirts he's been rumored to be seen in, his
tall, six foot five inch frame was anything but sparkling. However, there is
a distinct dimness in the Jolly Dragon. Perhaps one should visit there and
judge for yourself if the man, who recently had a close brush with death, is
indeed a man or an infamous vampire. This reporter reserves judgment.
Having worked everything from construction to landscaping, even doing a
bout as a fry cook at a popular fast food restaurant, Brandon Jenkins fell
into his fame, one could arguably say by accident, one would be wrong. A
close friend submitted his manuscript in his stead. The talent was so
obviously there, the publisher saw the promise of it and we eventually got
the first book by Brandon Jenkins, Tides of Blood. Since then he has released
several other best sellers, River of Hate, Face of the Damned and This Old
House. At Christmas, we expect a new book, yet the title has not been
announced as of this printing.
His research for the novel included spending a large bulk of time in an
Alaskan outpost, secluded from the general populous, hunting his own food,
melting snow for a water source and learning to adapt to how the solitude
must feel, had he been completely alone. Another interesting tidbit, is our
beloved author does not fly. He much prefers to keep his feet firmly on the
ground, he is quoted as saying.
When asked of his favorite foods and how he kept in shape, he expressed
a liking for Beer, lard and Mega M&M's, in that order. In order to keep his
form in the shape it is in, he enjoys running and spending time at the gym.
Writing relaxes him and he enjoys long road trips and the beach in his spare
time. He quoted Lech Walesa, 'I'm lazy, but it's the lazy person who invented
the wheel and the bicycle, because they got tired of walking around and
carrying things.'
In short, he comes across as a wise talented and insightful man and
vampire or not, his next release is greatly anticipated.

Law Enforcement Raid on Argent Int Tue Sep 29 FennecFox

Just after Noon on Tuesday a special task force comprised of local and state
Law Enforcement raided the Argent Institute. Reports are sketchy and our
sources inside the department report serious injuries sustained on the part
of officers. During a press conference later that day Police Spokesman Burt

"This is in connection to the slaughter at one of the local bars here in town.
The brave men and women of the Prospect Police Department, with the support
of state resources, and the assistance of local citizens have made our city a
bit safer. We cannot discuss our current findings as this is part of an

The Dive seems to be working its way back to business this week. The boards
and police tape have started coming down, a noticeable change since the
business was closed after the events of September 14 (+bbread 12/351).
Despite the fresh coat of paint on the outside, the business remains 'Closed
For Construction' and more than a few have watched cleaning and construction
crews navigating in and out of the small structure, perhaps a small hint at
just how bad the past events left the building's interior in.

two openings for bartenders at the dive, which is making the transition from

UC Prospect wins wild one on last Sat Oct 10 Archer

The UC Prospect Miners won a close fought game today on the last play in the
4th quarter when true freshman and top recruit Archer Marshall scrambled and
evaded several tackles before heaving a throw to the end zone for a touch
down. Archer came in late in the 4th quarter when starting quarterback Tanner
Tolliver came out with a leg injury.
Down 5 after a late game touchdown by Sacramento State, the Miners got the ball
back on their own 25 with a little more than 3 minutes to play after a
touchback. On the very first play from scrimmage, Tolliver dropped back to
pass and was sacked for an 11 yard loss and injured his leg on the play.
Archer came in and then orchestrated a 7 play, 86 yard drive to win the game
on the final play. Based strongly on his ability to avoid the sack, extend
the play and scramble from the pocket, Archer went 6 of 6 for 56 yards and
added another 30 yards on the ground.
While Archer was not available for comment after the game, the coaches praised
his poise and determination, saying they knew he had it in him and didn't
have many concerns putting him in, despite his abysmal performance in week 1.
This performance has been widely scrutinized and many are hopeful that it is
a sign of good things to come from the standout recruit out of Los Angeles.

Fire at Eden Sun Oct 25 Carlos

At 10:28pm on Saturday, a fire broke out in the bar area of the dance
club "Eden". The investigation is still on-going, but the police have
declared it to be an accident. Related to Eden's rowdy clientele, and an
ill-advised experiment in flaming shots by the bartender. Fire fighters
rushed to the scene, though the Eden's sprinkler system had put out the fire
and the building had been evacuated by the time the authorities arrived.
No loss of life has been reported, though 3 people were treated on the
scene for burns before being released. The extent of damage has been reported
as fire damage to the bar, as well as a loss of one barstool and a small
amount of inventory.
The owners of Eden have stated that they are deeply troubled by the
accident, and have reached out the families of the victims with an offer to
pay their medical bills in full. They also want to reassure their clientele
that safety is their foremost concern, and they will take every step possible
to ensure an accident like this does not happen again.

UC Halloween Party Ends In Shootin Sun Nov 01 Carlos

Festivities at the Kappa Beta Theta house at the UC campus were interrupted
Halloween night when gun shots broke out at the party. Campus police made it
to the scene almost immediately, and were able to save one student who
received a potentially fatal head wound. No shooter or gun has been found,
though the police are keeping an eye out for a number of possible suspects,
including a white male dressed as Moby Dick, a Latino male dressed as a baby,
a white female dressed as a waffle iron, and an Asian female dressed as a fox
in a kimono. If you have any information on any of these people, please

Fundraiser Event - New Venue Sun Nov 01 Vesta

New Transitions is holding a fundraising event aboard the Tailwind, docked just
off the Harbor. This benefit will be to raise money and awareness on human
trafficking.
The event will be held on Thursday, November 5 at 8 CST (6 PST game time) The
event will take place early evening and into the night.
The theme is The 80's. Dressing up is not required, but there will be prizes
awarded for those who wish to dress up. There will also be a Karaoke area.
Classic Arcade video games will be set up. There will be a short
presentation, then a local wine tasting.
So dig out those leg warmers and your crimping iron, make your hair as big as
you can and put on your velour jackets and Reeboks and come out to have a
great time.

Groundbreaking Suicide Research Tue Nov 03 Erzsebet

A groundbreaking study has helped researchers learn more about ways to treat
people experiencing suicidal thoughts at the Klaussenburg Psychiatric
Hospital in Prospect California as well as Prospect Memorial. Nearly 20,000
patients were able to participate in a trial that drew from other successful
interventions for depression and suicide. One of the treatments being tested
was developed with the help of other patients.
A large practical trial, led by Dr. Erzsebet Klaussenburg, along with
researchers from Group Health Cooperative and the University of Prospect,
Health Partners Medical Group in Los Angeles, and Kaiser Permanente of
Colorado tested treatments intended to reach large groups of adult patients
who have serious thoughts of suicide. Patients at risk were identified and
followed through medical records.
The research team tested two treatment programs: The first program, a care
management approach, drew on two previous efforts, a collaborative care for
depression strategy plus an approach developed at the Klaussenburg
Psychiatric Hospital. The second program was an online skills training method
called, ?Now Matters Now,? which was designed to help people manage painful
emotions and stressful situations.
To determine the impact of the two prevention strategies, these patients were
compared to another group of patients receiving care-as-usual. Researchers
tracked all patients for 18 months and monitored the amount of time before a
first suicide attempt. The five-year study was designed to enroll 19,500
patients. In addition to its large scope and the significant problem that it
addressed, this study was ground breaking because the study design and
intervention programs were developed in collaboration with people with ?lived
experience,? those who had experienced suicidal thoughts and/or survived
suicide attempts themselves (Whitecroft et al, 2015).
Although it was found that the care management approach was vastly more
effective than the online method one commonality was brought to the fore.
Those who admitted suicidal thoughts were far more likely to attempt within
the following year than those suffering from chronic depression who did not
admit. This flies in the face of previous convention in which it was believed
that those who really mean to kill themselves will generally not speak of it.
If someone expresses a desire to end their life, it should not be taken
lightly. They probably mean it. "A cry for help is a cry for attention, but
if untreated it will become the final whimper before rejecting the agony of a
cruel world." (Klaussenburg, 2013)

World Tour Postponed Thu Nov 12 Esme

Seasons of the Witch was supposed to kick off its World Tour in Los Angeles on
December 21st. A tragic car accident has left lead guitarist Ace Langdon
dead. Members of the band including front woman Esme LeFevre were unavailable
for comment. The funeral for Ace Langdon, a native of Prospect is scheduled
for this weekend but will be a private affair.

<A television advert airs between 7pm and 10pm nightly on the majority of
prominent, high-traffic channels, both local and national. In it, a woman
speaks into a camera as she walks down a street with festive decorations
behind her, as they casually meander into a run down area that still seems to
be fighting for the holiday spirit; an old soup kitchen with tattered banners
heralding the arrival of the season, with hanging lights that only half light
up, old and broken, but still bold against the enchroaching dark of the
evening. From inside, ever so quietly heard beyond her soft voice and genuine
plea, the sounds of Bing Crosby or Andy Williams on low quality speakers is
played, with no voices seeming eager to join in.>
A simple, but profound opportunity is offered to you this holiday season. A
season that, during which, the suicide rate of veterans in our nation nearly
triples, crushing them under the pressures of loneliness and the selective
forgetfulness that has family and stranger alike sweep them, and others,
under the rug like dirt. The opportunity that I speak of is a simple
investment in donation to a cause that seeks to recognize these fallen
warriors for what they really are; they are those that have sacrificed
everything for the freedom and safety of all.
In short, we're asking for help for those that volunteered to help you without
ever needing to be asked.
I am Doctor Eden Cohen, a veteran, one whom has served alongside these once
vibrant and brave individuals, their light now slowly fading into the
obscurity of mental illness and physical surrender, helpless to dig
themselves out of the graves they are simply left to lie in. Please don't let
them go dark, don't allow them to disappear.
Garden of Eden Veteran's Wellness Center is a project in the first stages of
development; a place where help is afforded to veterans old and new at no
cost, where they are provided with the care they desperately need, and
clearly deserve. From medical treatment for ailments and wounds that will not
properly heal on their own, to psychiatric assistance meant to do the same,
legal aid and addiction recovery, and a place where they might speak with
others enduring the same struggles that they have endured, day in and day out
-- socialize in a way that they cannot in the civilian world, find the order
that they have lost since dismissal from service, find a new purpose in our
placement programs and employment initiatives, and much more.

Magadon's Christmas Donations Sun Dec 13 Clay

There is a quiet press release in the local media from the Magadon facility in
town. Each Christmas, the labs raise some money for charity, which this year
they are donating to the local Society For Veteran's Recovery. As well as an
undisclosed sum, it is revealed that the labs will be trialing certain
cutting-edge techniques to treat the war-injuries many of those veterans
suffer from. There's publicity surrounding this, but word filters out to the
local homeless community.

the first time in half a decade beginning December 14th, in order to provide
a better customer experience and the expansion of several sections of the

Shootout at the Desert Tue Dec 15 Channel 54

Good evening.
Today's new story: A bar and grill at the Highway 42 became last night the
scenario of violence and death. We have our reporter, Amanda Pearson at the
local. It's with you, Amanda.
(The scene changes to a view of the bar entrance, where a woman in a issued
tailleur holds a mic. Behind her there are a quite destroyed saloon, riddled
with bullet holes. Firefighters are recovering their hoses and preparing to
leave. Burnt husks of bikes and even a car or two are also visible).
Thank you. The scenes here are of untold destruction. When people think of
biker bars and their culture, we are taken to newly fanged TV shows or
classic Gonzo writing journalism. Truth be told, the ones that style
themselves the 'one percenters' are moslty criminals. Behind me is the HQ of
a couple motorcycle clubs that proudly carry the diamond patch of the
percenters. Sadly, the life of crime usually takes them to an early grave.
The police is keeping most information, due to the ongoing investigation, but
witnesses tell us about four of five dead bikers, gunned down at the parking
lot, and that the barrage of automatic fire lasted for at least a few
minutes. A deal gone sour? Turf takeover? Enmity between rival clubs? Only
time will uncover the truth of what happened here. This is Amanda Pearson,
