One kind word can warm three winter months.

~ Japanese Proverb

Raffaella Inés Suárez

  • Homid Tall, leggy, exotic and, in a word, breathtaking, Raffaella is a Columbian beauty whose style and grace rarely fail to draw the eye. Bright green eyes and lustrous hair, coupled with her olive hue clearly announce her South American heritage, while her somewhat aloof, yet still very feminine manner both entices while simultaneously daring all but the most confident of men to approach her. Typically sheathed in colourful designer fashions, favouring Dolce & Gabbana, accented with occasional pieces of designer jewelry favouring native motifs and exceptional, colourful gems. There is about her an almost feral, primal mien. While she looks little like the Yanomamo ancestors of her kind, long and sleek as she is, there is nevertheless an undeniable link between her and the Balam kind to those with the eyes to see them.
  • Sokto Long-limbed, feral and unmistakably feline with curving claws feline eyes and facial features, coupled with a light pattern of Jaguar fur, yet she remains eerily, unnervingly recognizable to any who may have met her.
  • Crinos Nightmare blending of human and jungle cat, seek yet immensely powerful, standing on hind legs, posture aggressive and her mien savage. Invokes Delirium in onlookers, albeit at -1 Difficulty. Her fur in this form is night-black.
  • Chatro Massive, primeval sabre-toothed Jaguar, the very sight of her in this form invokes the full Delirium on her victims. Raffaella's chosen war form, seeing her adopt this dark-furred yet still marked war form is often the last thing her victims will ever glimpse before the coming of the long night.
  • Feline Indistinguishable from a wild Jaguar of the great Amazon Rainforest, where they are the seldom-glimpsed Apex Predators of all they survey, there is nothing cute or pettable about her, indeed Raphaella is likely to invoke superstitious terror in members of the traditional Central and South American cultures, but there is nothing obviously supernatural about her.

Conversation Starters

  • Beauty As mentioned above, Raffaella is a rare beauty, sure to turn heads wherever she goes. Some, of course, will disqualify them from her attentions, whether because they are intimidated or react with adolescent passive-agressiveness to her presence, but perhaps you're the sort to be genuinely unaffected by such emotions — Or the sort to view such a lovely young woman as a challenge to be met?
  • Exotic Grace Whether at the beach, or even a rooftop pool in a scandalous bikini, dancing a one of the city's upscale nightclubs in a flirty little black dress, or shopping at one of the city's upscale boutiques, there is an undeniable presence about Raffaella that is difficult to ignore. Even animals feel it, large dogs often bristling and growling in her presence, while smaller purse mutts often wetting themselves and burrowing deep to escape her attention. In short, she calls to one's baser instincts according to type. Which sort are you?
  • Mysterious A stunning young Latin woman in Southern California may not be a unique occurrence, but once of obvious wealth and sophistication, yet unaccompanied by family or sugar-daddy and in no way recognizable as famous, whether as a model, actress or worthless socialite. Perhaps this inspires idle curiosity, or identifies her as a potential target or victim accordingly?

History

  • Columbian While she speaks excellent, educated English, Raffaella is a native Columbiana, and it shows in her accent as well as her mannerisms, including the natural pearl rosary she wears on one wrist, the bright colours, albeit sophisticated European designs she favours in her clothing and the hint of a spicy Latina temper which lurks close to the surface beneath a coy manner and flirty smile.
  • Secrets All women have secrets of course, particularly exceptionally beautiful ones. Raffaella is certainly no exceptions and, indeed, can be quite easily engaged bp the prospect of learning those of others. Curiosity, after all...
  • Jungle Rhythms Seeing her dance, or seemingly alone on the beach, or out of the city in generous, or feeling unobserved, Raffaella quickly sheds her veneer of respectable, civilized behaviour and quickly adopts a feral, far less self-conscious mien. To those who might understand what they are observing, she becomes a true free spirit while, somehow, becoming very, very dangerous indeed.

Residence

  • Mission Arms Apartments Considering her tastes, both for luxury and privacy, as well as a certain affinity for heights, it is perhaps not surprising that Milena has chosen a ninth-floor penthouse, number 904 as her residence while in the area. Since acquiring the place she has, of course, had it redecorated so suit her preferences, favouring authentic South American art, be it modern Columbian paintings or sculptures to more traditional, and rather valuable pieces of Inca, Olmec, Mayan and occasionally Aztez objets d'art, forming an impressively selective and tasteful, if modest collection, the sort that is rarely found outside of such pieces' continent of origin.

Gallery

  • Raffaella Inés Suárez is of course a beautiful young woman in the absolute prime of her life. While not particularly self-obsessed, she has a certain feminine vanity about her and delights in seeing herself in well-framed and skillfully shot candid scenes or portraiture. Below are a couple of examples of her favourite photographer's artwork.

Soundtrack

Joy Division — She's Lost Control

Confusion in her eyes that says it all.
She's lost control.
And she's clinging to the nearest passer by,
She's lost control.
And she gave away the secrets of her past,
And said I've lost control again,
And of a voice that told her when and where to act,
She said I've lost control again.

Blondie — Rush Rush

Rush rush to the yeyo...

Icky Thump — The White Stripes

White Americans, what, nothin' better to do?
Why don't you kick yourself out? You're an immigrant too
Who's usin' who? What should we do?
Well you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too

Mandinka — Sinead O'Connor

And they say, "See how the glass is raised?"
I told them "drink something new"
I don't know no shame
I feel no pain
I can't
