Ed/Overview

A young physicist who formally worked at CERN until a disgracing event, Ed is now a professor at UC Prospect, teaching undergrad physics.

Ed has a doctorate in theoretical physics, and dresses and speaks in a unique, complex manner, though never beyond reason... almost never. They are non-binary, and tend towards feminine clothes; they have pierced ears. More on their wardrobe and design choices can be found here, though it is far from complete. They are never seen without a parasol. Their approach is often preceded by the sound of heels, because they clearly need to be even taller.

Ed is an Etherite, and has developed magical tools and tricks that help them find other mages and nodes more easily, though they are far from foolproof or easy to use. They understand clearly that they are not done, though, not until physics is complete AND accepted. They are never comfortable standing still, and can often be found scrawling notes and equations on a chalkboard, in notebooks, or even on their hands. They usually use fountain pens or pencils.
