Retired - Jonathon did twenty years in the United States Army. He retired a Captain, and has worked all over the world. He has participated in some of the bloodiest and open conflict, and some of the most secret. He did eight years as a Cavalry Scout, and then another twelve as an Army Ranger. He became an Officer early on in the Rangers.
Nightmares - He has lived through numerous conflicts and wars...including the First one. He has nightmares about all of them.
Penitent - He has things to make up for, and he wants to.
Angel - He is a fallen angel. In the beginning, he was the one who mastered photosynthesis, and also aided in developing the natural ecosystem of plants. During the War, he used nature to fight against the Host. He is seen as one of the primary masters of the Lore of Wild (Paragon 5).
Garden - He is working on developing a vast urban garden for the inhabitants of the city to enjoy, bringing green to the grey. He works with urban youths and the homeless, and anyone interested in the project.
Local - He was born and raised in Prospect, but was gone a long, long time.
Memory - Jonathon remembers almost the entirety of the War, and before. Sometimes, his mortal memories quarrel with his angelic ones, and he has trouble dealing.
Reconciler - He doesn't want God's forgiveness, but he does feel the natural world needs to be restored. Perhaps mankind can learn the need of the Green. If not...they can be shown.
Eminence - During the War, he rose to be a great General of the Iron Legion. He proudly led his forces of Devourer, Malefactor, mortal and animal against the Host. Not once did those under his command commit atrocities, nor waver in their duty.
Nephilim - During the war he fell in love with a mortal woman, and they begat Nephilim. He railed against the decision to exterminate them, but in the end was forced to follow along.
Drinking - He tries to deal with his bad memories by drowning them in alcohol. He's not always wasted, but he generally had more then a few drinks throughout the day. If there's something important happening, he can sober up for a bit...but he -won't- be happy about it.
