Message: 77/1 Posted Author Apocalypse Club Explosion Sun Jan 01 FennecFox

At the strike of midnight as people gather for a one moment of unity and

celebration. The spirit of goodwill, celebration and hope for the new year.
2016 strikes one final time. A massive explosion rips through the Apocolypse
club killing the party goers and one service dog. You thought you could
escape 2016? No. There is no escape. 2017 is heralded in blood and screams of
 the dying.

Fires rage and debrise damages nearby buildings burning down the home of Alisha

Lubeau and also minor damage to Kanikapila.

Message: 77/3 Posted Author Vandals at Mount Hope Cemetery Thu Jan 05 Dead Eye

Printed in the Daily Prospect, a small local newspaper, is the following story:

Vandals at Mount Hope Cemetery On the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2017, groundkeepers of Mount Hope Cemetery

discovered that three crypts, located in its oldest section, had been
desecrated by vandalism. Each of the crypts affected possessed a statuette of

and dragged nearly thirty feet before they were defaced and smashed. It is
unknown whether the incident is occult connected or whether it was an act of
maliciousness. The crime is believed to have had no witnesses. If you possess
any information about this event, it is asked that you please contact
Prospect P.D.'s "Tips-Hotline" at XXX-XXX-XXXX. No reward for information has

Message: 77/6 Posted Author Guerilla Art Installation? Tue Jan 31 Charlene

Julianne Valentine, Prospect News at Five. Dressed smartly in her
maroon sports jacket, she wraps up the news. "...And the case with the donut
thief turned out to be full of holes." She pauses for effect, then laughs
 before continuing.
"And finally, an interesting art installation has appeared, seemingly
overnight, on the beachfront." A still photo appears on screen of several
metallic figures, each approximately six feet tall, standing up to their
ankles in the surf, each with a flag draped around its shoulders.
        https://i.imgur.com/t3BJrLT.jpg
"Discovered this morning as low tide was coming in by beachcombers,
the metallic men had no signatures, manufacturing marks, or signs to indicate
why they are. In fact, the only visible difference between them are the
cloaks that seem to be made from countries that were occupied by the Soviet
 Union in the 1980's."
A live shot is shown now, with just the top of one of the heads of the
men poking above water, often hidden by waves, before it seemingly falls over
on camera. "With high tide in now, it will have to wait until later this
evening for recovery. The men will be dug out of the sand, cleaned, and moved
to a temporary installation for those interested in seeing them. And that's
the news. See you at ten for the late news. Good afternoon."

Walker, a Navy Veteran, said of the donation "It's really all I can afford to

deal about it, in case others will also donate, so here we are." The $3,000
will go a long way towards helping women in crisis. And the famed Raise "The

Message: 77/9 Posted Author Looking for love? Mon Mar 13 Zeppelin

Are you looking for love?

Do you feel like it's just out of your reach?

Do you wish that the people you went out with had more in common with you?

Well look no further. The alpha release of 1Luv (One Love) has been made and

shows a lot of success in it's development. It allows users to interface much
like Tindr, but with the idea of a real relationship as the outcome. This app
allows for the user to select any manner of ways they identify and any manner
of ways they wish their ideal match to identify. It will then take into
account who is around the user and give them matches. There is also a 'live'
version that will look at current situational matches.

You are currently binging House on Netflix? Type it in and it will show matches

who are currently set to binging House. You are at the art fair? Check in. It
will show who else is at the art fair.

Available now for all versions of smart phone.

1LUV - For when you don't have time to find your one love; let us do the work

 for you.

Message: 77/11 Posted Author Filler in the Local Newspaper Sat Apr 08 Ellie

Dramatic scenes this morning as a coffee-drinker collapsed, prompting much

kerfuffle from staff and customers alike. Luckily, local scientific
researcher Adora Goldhart was on hand to administer CPR until paramedics
arrived, actions which doctors and paramedics say almost certainly saved the
poor woman's life. A spokesman from Prospect Memorial hospital said "It is
only thanks to the quick thinking and care of this bystander that our patient
was able to survive. In cases such as this, the first few minutes are
critical, which is why it is so important for members of the public to be
 trained in these things."

It is believed that the patient suffered from a rare heart condition which,

exacerbated by stress and high caffeine intake, caused her heart to enter
random spasms. She is now making a promising recover in the Prospect Memorial
hospital. Neither the patient (who wishes to remain anonymous) nor Miss
Goldhart have made a statement at this time.

Message: 77/19 Posted Author Fright at the Cirque De Kole Thu Jun 15 Nieci

Visitors of the Cirque de Kole were treated to quite a fright last evening
when one of their attractions seemingly malfunctioned. Like something out of
a horror movie itself, the Haunted House attraction came to life when covered
in darkness around 10pm last evening.
"It was horrible. One minute we were wandering through the hall of corpses
and the next? It was so dark and heavy. It was like you couldn't even
breathe, you know?" Lisa Keller, a frequent guest of the attraction explained.
Workers scrambled to try and get as many guests to the emergency exits and
safety as they could. While the power failure only managed to last a few
minutes, it was long enough to leave some lasting repercussions among some of
 the guests.
There was only one injury sustained during the event. The young woman was
escorted to the hospital for further examination and released early this
morning. Claims of a phantom attacker in a red devil suit have been
circulating among a small group of visitors which has led to the detainment
of one of the attraction workers.
So far, no charges have been pressed. The attraction is temporarily closed
down pending further inspection of the power grid and should be up and
running again within a few days.

Message: 77/25 Posted Author Latino Sub 30 And Life on Prospect Sat Aug 26 Arianna

During the last week the Prospect Union-Tribune has run a series of
articles about life on Prospect streets. In depth investigative journalism
with some analysis that tell a story with emotion and some doses of witty
snark, peppered with a fair few quotes. It's not front page breaking news,
but interesting filler inside for the readers interested in deeper local
 coverage.
The first article starts out talking about the Latino Sub 30 gang, who
they are and some basic history. One that has suffered a series of setbacks
and lost a lot of territory and membership in recent times. But who also have
been making a show of going more legit, helping youth and taking up a cause
in ending brown-on-brown violence. Littered with quotes from people in the
affected neighborhood the story emerges that the going legit appears to be a
facade erected in desperation and cynicism. Including a quote attributed to
an unnamed gang member wondering what it means to be legit when the cops are
 all on the take.
The next article follows up by going in to depth with the neighborhood,
peppered with quotes from residents about the gang and how it affects their
lives. Both the gang operating there and how that false image of being
helpful to the community undermines trust and puts them in a position of
 being squeezed from two directions.
Following that is an article talking about the difficulty of life on
the streets for those mired in grinding poverty. The cynicism and desperation
created by having to struggle for basic necessities and for having everything
stacked against you if you try for a better life. Especially with the image
of downtown Prospect nearby, wealth and prosperity in view as a constant
reminder that others have it better. Which leads to the appeal of gangs, or
 having no alternative.
Which leads to an analysis of how the desperation and the cynicism and
stress of life that is difficult where the whole system is stacked against
you leads to distrust in the institutions of society, including those who
make and enforce the laws and those who most benefit from them. How it leaves
people not invested in obeying the laws, assuming they're all there for
oppressive purposes. Even well-meaning health and safety laws can be used
against people, and then flouted in turn. It may lead to relatively harmless
things like sex work or the thrill of street racing, but it also leads to
more serious crime when people don't have other options.

The byline is simply: Arianna (OOC: Please assume these are written by someone witty/snarky and an excellent

 (Perception&Expression 4) writer.)

A sudden thunderstorm brought powerful winds and intense rain to Prospect
 Saturday afternoon.

"All of a sudden you couldn't even see the parking lot because the wind and the

rain were pure white just coming down," said Dela Barrett, who was at Fashion
Valley Mall when the storm hit. "Everything in the front was flying around.
 Trees were falling."

Fallen trees crushed cars, damaged buildings and blocked roads. "Everything was just going sideways. I saw some of the dead branches starting

to blow off and the next thing I know, the whole tree is going over," Dan
 Barber said.

NBC 7 meteorologist Daniel Mirclap said the sideways winds were caused by a

An article in Sunday's edition of the Prospect Union-Tribune, prominent in the

 community section:

Rebirth of Opportunity

California has a prison problem. Reports have shown the California
penal system is one of the most expensive in the world, two of the driving
factors being correction officers salaries and the recidivism rate. The
recidivism rate for the U.S. in general is high by world standards, and
California has had serious problems with that for a variety of reasons
previously covered including overcrowding and draconian treatment of parole
 violations.
Even progress on recidivism in the last several years, lowering the
rate from 65 to 45, has been largely a records game by pushing parole
violators into local jails instead of back to state prison where the end
result is still basically the same number of people spending the same time in
prison with similar expense. As much as this government failure can be quite
frustrating, there are bright spots in private organizations stepping forward
to help out, from local groups to national organizations. Local organizations
have the most direct impact on individual lives and the local community.
Prospect Opportunity Program (POP) is a new answer for our community,
as envisioned by Nicolai Jaegar, one of Prospect's prominent criminal defense
attorneys who seems to think there's more to helping people than the legal
representation. Offering employment opportunity to those who have served
their time, with a variety of job opportunities in an auto service center and
a recycling center. Beyond simply employment, POP offers a GED program and a
variety of life skills and career development classes and even therapy. All
participants also have a social worker to support transition to public life.
Not only employment is difficult to come by after prison, but housing as
well, and POP also offers that to their participants. All in all POP is
offering a comprehensive program to help people transition from prison back
to society and make good. For some, a second chance. For many, surely to be
the first real chance to succeed.
Currently finishing construction at Comet and Harbor, POP will be
offering full auto service and a car wash for the community, as well as a
recycling center, where your business means directly supporting a good cause.
With the grand opening coming soon, POP is also providing plenty of good job
opportunities for anyone looking as they work to fill positions such as
teachers and counselors and cooks. Their site
 http://coh.spork.com/index.php?title=Prospect7s_Opportunity_Program provides
plenty more details, and the opportunity for questions and donations too.

donations, auto work, etc should @mail Nicolai.)

Message: 77/44 Posted Author The Hedare Family Making Waves in Thu Nov 09 Prospect Daily News

For a few weeks now the Zaha Hadid designed super yacht The Queen of
the Night has made its berth here in Prospect. At first the ship enthusiasts
were quick to come and take pictures of the 10th largest yachts in the world.
At first it was thought that the ship would be passing by, with us having no
clue to which member of the family was on board. However, the Prospect
International Airport has had the family jet, an Airbus CJ380, land and the
plane has been hangered. This leads us to speculate if the Hedare Group, a
Panamanian banking group, is making its landfall to the United States of
 America.
This group, with its Banco Privat as the crown jewel, has been
implicated in money laundering, tax evasion and other such activities through
the Panama Papers as well as the newer Paradise Papers. Though the
allegations of multitudes of wrong doings and the suspicions of money
laundering for the drug trafficking and asset launderings the group has never
been put on the Specially Designated Narcotics Traffickers, or the so called
"Clinton List" of 1995, that targets those associated with trafficking or
 asset laundering or similar activities.
Does the country, or the city need another corrupt bank making life
easier for the shadier business people of the city and the country,
especially a bank such that is rumored to be in bed or in league with the
 South American drug cartels?
Prospect Daily News reached out to Banco Privat in Panama and their
spokesman Carlos Avendaqo told us that "The Hedare Group is over half a
century old, respected banking organization in Panama. The banks hold
numerous customers from consumers to nations as customers and through this
holds respect on the global financial market. While many leaks and
implications of wrongdoings have been raised against many Panamanian
financial groups the Hedare Group has always been proven innocent in court.
The accusations the Daily News has made are just another slanderous attack on
a banking powerhouse in these times when conservative values are attacked in
the United States of America as well across the globe."
While the allegations against the group have never been proven in
court, the fact remains that Panamanian banks as well as other so called
"paradise banks" are heavily involved in tax havens and evasion. Similarly,
through the leaks we've learnt that many criminal organizations hide their
ill-gotten gains through these banks. Even more alarming is that while the
Clinton List or The Kingpin Act would allow companies to be banned from the
US markets even without proof this is extremely rarely done. While the
Democratic Party has made some headway into asset laundering the new changes
the Trump Administration has made guarantee that we will be seeing more and
more big business using their personhood to skirt laws and take advantage of
the current wave of egoism leading to the even more diminishing power of the
 people.

An article in Sunday's edition of the Prospect Union-Tribune, prominent in the

 community section:

Prospect's New "Royal Cajun Cabaret" Features Grand Opening

Burlesque has quite a fascinating history. The word has been in use
since the 17th century and derives from the Italian "burlesco", which comes
from "burla" which means joke or mockery. Sometimes also called "travesty" or
"extravaganza", these were pastiche and parody shows in the 17th and 18th
century. Popular in Victorian London, they typically parodied well-known
opera and plays such as Shakespeare's, usually rewriting the lyrics of
popular music. Which now makes me want to interview Weird Al.
Burlesque first came to New York in the 1840s, popularised in 1868 by
Lydia Thompson's troupe, the British Blondes, with the show "Ixion", a
mythological spoof. Their shows focused on attractive, under-dressed playing
patriarch roles, even sexual aggressors, which pushed boundaries and set off
the prudish outrage that fueled popularity and demand. I mean, women wearing
tights, it was so very scandalous.
The first notable sighting of the striptease with elaborate costumes
that we're more familiar with now was at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The
striptease style came into its own in the 1920s and 30s, until censorship and
clampdowns in the 1950s. It's been seeing a resurgence since the 1990s, which
 some call Neo-burlesque.
Since this is news, not a history lesson (I swear!), we get to the part
where Prospect is jumping into the trend. Tonight marks the grand opening of
the Royal Cajun Cabaret, a Bayou Burlesque & Revue. Transplanted directly
from glamorous 1940s Bourbon Street to Comet and Fourth. When you enter,
you'll wonder which city you're in. While burlesque is the feature, this
delightful blend of theater stage and nightclub looks like an evening under
the stars with a view into vintage New Orleans. Magicians on Jackson Square,
singers on Bourbon Street, burlesque in the bayou, and time will tell what
 else.

In the early morning of December 9th 2017 the DEA and Sheriff's office
conducted a no-knock search on a suspected stash house in the Prospect
 County.
In the ensuing firefight four DEA Special Weapons and Tactics' agents
were killed as were eight suspected soldiers of one of the Tijuana Cartels.
DEA conducted the raid in front of the raging fires to find a so-called
"stash house", a house full of drugs, but soon found out that the house was
in fact a holding area for kidnap victims. Unfortunately, the cartel was able
to execute the victims, 9, before the brave officers were able to conduct a
rescue. On the premises the Sheriff's cadaver dogs were able to find a mass
grave holding the remains of an unknown number of dead. So far the sources
tell that at least 30 remains have been found, but many remains are so badly
decomposed and destroyed that the full number may remain a mystery.

Message: 77/51 Posted Author Bourbon & Bedlam Grand Opening Tue Dec 19 Arianna

A prominent article in the Union Tribune's society section.

Bourbon Street Incites Holiday Bedlam

In yet another case of New Orleans' Bourbon Street extending itself
into Prospect, the piano bar and lounge Bourbon and Bedlam opens this
Thursday, the twenty-first. If you're looking for a way to relax and have a
good time before the holiday itself, the grand opening event promises to be
 quite an affair.
Starting in the afternoon the adjoining Vieux Carre will be offering
sample dishes. After dark we're promised a holiday light show and reciting
the "Cajun Night Before Christmas" story. For the rest of the night, seasonal
songs and magic shows and New Orleans style jazz and blues are promised.
The most prominent feature is a carousel bar. High-backed stools sit
around a bar that's slowly turning, with talented mixologists Phillipe and
Adrien at work inside creating cocktails including their signature Vieux
Carre or showing off how they get over the bar for a shift change. And when
you want to gather with some friends around a table, there's several of those
with comfortable chairs in the lounge area. Those in mood for another style
of socializing have billiards as an option, among other games. In all cases
there's New Orleans style food from the Vieux Carre kitchen.
The stage promises to host live music as a regular feature. Vieux Carre
has already demonstrated the ability to pull in some delightful surprises,
and the ownership is known to have good contacts, so it's sure to be worth
 checking out regularly.
Bourbon and Bedlam also has something to offer art and history
afficionados. Built as an homage to The Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone,
a popular and historic hotel in the French Quarter with a history going back
more than a century. The carousel itself debuted in 1949 and has been popular
since. Bourbon and Bedlam itself features artwork not just on the walls but
the bar stools themselves that deserves appreciation.

Late Tuesday evening, and into Wednesday morning the weather pattern in
Prospect has begun to fluctuate very oddly. Prospect is known for having a
more arid atmosphere, dry heat and not a place that tends to feel the effects
of Winter like other parts of the country. Pressure has begun to drop rapidly
in the area, and the cold weather is starting to pull in from the North.
Meterologists have begun talking about this storm - about how
remarkable and completely unexpected it is. Radar systems are showing vortex
like winds forming off the West coast with a trajectory path towards Prospect
in the next few days. Large thick clouds have begun forming in the area,
creating a thick overcast sky, making it significantly darker than normal
during the day, and pitch black in the evening.
Winds currently are at about 15-20 mph, coming off the coast and
bringing a good deal more moisture than normal.

Screen focuses on a man standing on the coast with dark cloud behind him. He's

wearing a windbreaker and the sight of the ocean roars behind him. Large
waves cresting against the rocks, and the wind howls so fiercely it's
difficult for him to communicate. Another reporter is heard in the
background, presumably from a safe location asking the reporter what he's
 seeing.

"Stan, I can't hear you very well. The winds here are picking up dramatically.

Some 50-60mph at this point and the temperature is dropping quickly. As you
can see behind me, the coasts are already starting to flood and the governor
has submitting warnings for a State of Emergency. Power outages all across
the state are being reported, and this is just the beginning." - the man
desperately tries to report into a headset while using his hand to block his
face. The feed cuts out, and the screen shifts back to the original announcer.

The young man in a suit waits a moment for confirmation and then adds, "It

seems we lost our connection. As you can see folks, this storm now being
called Titan is only just starting to pick up. Just a few years back we had a
similar storm in this area, and meteorologists are predicting that the impact
of this storm will be at least equal too, if not even more severe than last
time. All airlines have been grounded in the area, and numerous reports of
coastal flooding is coming in. Driving conditions are dangerous at best.
Please remain indoors if at all possible, and pay particular attention to

"Stan, what kind of damage are we talking about?" - the pretty young blonde

to help boost ratings and ask pre-generated questions.

"Tiffany, we're talking about unprecedented amounts of damage. We have reports

than that. Storm-force winds on the coast, and flooding has already done
serious damage. People are scared, and looting and hysteria has to be a

"What about an evacuation order?.. " the woman asks in response.

PROSPECT, California (NEWS CENTER) - Don't underestimate Titan! The crippling

snowstorm is decreasing visibility and wreaking havoc across California. Snow
is now falling at a rate of two inches or more per hour with damaging winds
causing low visibility and dangerous travel conditions.

We will continue to see the worst of the storm through 8 p.m. Sunday.

"Blizzard conditions are expected and travel is prohibited. I still expect

about a foot and a half of snow for most towns, but the jackpot area will be
over the Northern end of Prospect where over 18 inches will fall. Rain will
be a player along sections of the coast, especially Downwest, where amounts
will be less between eight to twelve inches," said Gunther Todd.

According to the National Weather Services, snow will become heavy Saturday

afternoon with snowfall rates of one to three inches per hour possible and
 blizzard conditions along the coast.

Hundreds of thousands of people are without power due to the storm. According

to Central California Power, 347,451 customers are without power between San
Fransico and Los Angeles. Almost all of Prospect area, is relying on
generator power at this point - and multiple reports of failing and damaged
generators are leaving Prospect residents in the dark and cold today.

RELATED: Unprecedented nor'Wester?! Will likely drop more than three feet of

 snow statewide.

Blizzard warnings have been issued for the state. Governor Brown has issued an

evacuation order for residents able. This has left people stranded in cars,

Palatial estates and buildings with massive windows to take in the
gorgeous prospect coastline were never built to deal with snow storms. While
power outages have plagued the city during this storm it quickly becomes
systemic in the wealthy neighborhoods. People who would just switch to backup
generators are finding their equipment failing and even the replacements
quickly die. Artistic skylights break under the weight of the falling snow
letting in the elements. The wealthy and affluent of Prospect find themselves
under siege by both weather and equipment failure. Those that didn't escape
the city early find themselves unable to flee the growing cold.
That is when the desperate madness sets in. Men and women used to
flying lobsters in from the East Coast on a whim find themselves without
kitchen staff and food supplies unsuited to any emergency. One brave EMT
reports finding a bank executive hunched over a fire made from a broken
paintings gnawing feverishly on the bones of his prize winning poodle. The
full extent of carnage won't be known till full access can be restored to
these parts of the city but it doesn't look good for Prospect's High Society.

-Spirit- For those more sensitive to spiritual matters there is now a
titanic roving hunger haunting the city. More felt than seen as the umbral
snow storm makes it invisible. The signs of its passing are clear. Spirits of
Man hanging upside down like a Jedi on Hoth with their hearts ripped out.
Swathes of red snow where things have died and been dragged off. In the Umbra
there is a louder howl to the wind that could just be weather or some
 terrible great beast.

long, to blunt trauma from hail, and other various broken bones and internal
injuries from being caught on the wrong side of some of the rioting
population. Doctors, nurses, EMT, first responders, and many others in
emergency services are being called in at all hours to try to deal with the
rush and others are encouraged to come in or bring anyone they find injured
 to Prospect Memorial Hospital.

Message: 77/64 Posted Author Equipment Failure at Prospect Memo Tue Dec 26 Local News

The mega-storm, Titan, is not the only unforeseen problem to trouble the city

of Prospect. Prospect Memorial Hospital, the largest health center in the
area, has recently reported a rash of equipment failures during the height of
the crisis, causing their staff to scramble for solutions during an already
trying time. Although the hospital has stated it is doing its best to triage
the unprecedented influx of injured coming through its doors, an increase in
the mortality rate has been unavoidable. One ER doctor, who wishes to remain
anonymous, has stated "Everything we have is a piece of (excrement). I've
seen more machines fail in the past three days than in the whole year. I
don't know if it's the power surges caused by the constantly breaking
generators or just plain bad luck, but it's been a real struggle to keep some
 of the patients alive."

Chaplains at the hospital have also conceded that many of those being treated

are apparently losing their will to fight, with record numbers passing during
the night. "It's like the storm has just taken everything out of them.
Instead of getting better here, I've seen men and women just fade away
overnight." Several sources have claimed that resources at the hospital are
nearing depletion, with ventilators, defibrillators and other crucial pieces
of equipment breaking down at the most inconvenient of times. Hospital
administrators are assuring the public that despite these new challenges the
hospital remains open and is the closest center for urgent care, with
everyone doing their best to rise to the occasion.

Message: 77/65 Posted Author Action News: Stormquakes Thu Dec 28 Dragomir

<<Action News Team 6 has been out braving this unprecedented weather, bringing

us live footage and ground reports throughout the evening.>>

Footage switches from anchorwoman Tiffany to a man so bundled up it's hard to

tell he's even human, wind whistling against the mike while the correspondent
and his camera man shelter in the recess of a doorway. There's a long pause
of communication delay before Tom nods his hooded head, speaking loudly to be
heard over the wind and flying snow.

"Thanks, Tiffany! I'm standing here tonight outside the Canary Street Mission

where volunteers have been coming together to provide food and heat to
Prospects needy this Christmas eve! It's crowded here tonight but employees
have kept their doors open and neighboring businesses have joined with them
to give charity where it's needed, taking people and pets off the dangerous
 streets."

"Thanks Tom! What's the attitude like there at the Mission?"

"As you can see through the windows behind me, it may be crowded but people are

smiling, soaking in the Christmas spirit and the sense of a community coming
together to take care of its own. It's really amazing, Tiffany, with so much
misery brought on by this catastrophic weather, the human spirit really can't
 be beat! It's-"

Tom cuts off and stumbles, the camera jerking to the side suddenly. "What the-"

Tom says, and again cuts off as another violent jerk knocks the camera man
 off his feet.

"Tom? Tom! What's going on there?" asks Tiffany with alarm on her lovely

 features.

"I think.. I think it's an earthqua-" Tom is cut off once more as the screen

begins to violently shake, the snow on the sidewalk jumping as a visible
crack forms in the sidewalk in front of the lens. Cars half buried in snow
drifts start to slide on the icy streets as the ground heaves and rolls like
water, blackened streetlights shaking and falling with crashes, shattering
windshields and smashing down onto the ground.

"Oh my god! Oh my go-!!" comes the voices of both the unseen Tom and his

cameraman before the jumping and bouncing camera's view is cut off in an
avalanche of black and grey backed by staticy crumbling sounds and muffled
screams, turning abruptly to the colored bars of an interrupted signal.

Footage then switches back to the Newsroom where anchors are clinging to the

news desk as tremors shake the studio, lights flickering and the camera
swaying. Tiffany, ever the professional news anchor, maintains composure
despite wide eyes and paling skin tone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you can still hear this, STAY INDOORS! Do NOT stand

in your doorways, find a sturdy desk or table and get under it right away!
Get under a desk or a ta-"

For twelve agonizing minutes during the already terrible storm, Prospect is

rocked by waves of quakes with Downtown given a shaky fright, while the
Harbor area in the worst of the storm's path takes the brunt of the
unexpected earthquake. Streets crack, cars are thrown like toys, water mains,
gas mains, and sewers erupt and crumble. Dozens of homes and businesses
sustain damage, while three fairly tall, mid-class apartment buildings within
the Harbor district crumble, littering the streets with rubble and glass.

News channel 6's signal is lost for almost an hour while repairs are hastily

made to restore it. Unfortunately, the Action News Team doesn't return.
Tiffany's professional demeanor is put to the test as she begins reading
pages of breaking news rapidly put in front of her with reports of casualties
and damage zones as they come in to the news center. With the storm driving
people into their homes to escape the weather, snow and ice trapping them
 within, casualty numbers are... high.
