This is a (not necessarily exhaustive) list of backgrounds that provide your PC with one or more NPCs who can help them in some way.
Contents
General
- Allies: One NPC per dot, or fewer but more powerful NPCs
- Contacts: One major NPC per dot, plus some minor NPCs (need not be detailed in advance)
- Mentor: The more dots, the more powerful they are
- Retainers/Followers: One NPC per dot
