'River of Hate', his second book, spent 21 weeks at #2. The third, 'Face of the Damned', debuted at #2 and climbed to #1 in two weeks. His most recent, 'This Old House' debuted at #3 and went to #1 the next week. It's still there. He claims that everything in his books is loosely based on real life events in his small hometown, population 461, Newburg, Missouri.
