xxxxxI am Busiris. I have had mortal names. I have one now. My memories of my previous lives are hard to grasp, bare figments of my imagination that dance away when I try to remember them. The only thing I remember of my past was that I was a Watchman. Not a watcher. I stood guard, and brought swift and merciless justice upon those who trespassed against Ma'at. I remember Horus. I remember the Spell of Life, the perfected version, where we were remade anew.
xxxxxI am James McGregor. I fish for a living. My accent is that of the home that my body remembers. I was weak in life. I lacked drive. I went into the family business of fishing back home, and through lack of care, I was caught by the net and dragged under. I managed to get myself free only to suck in my first lungful of water, where the current then drove me far, far away from any sort of help.
xxxxxWe were offered a second chance, both of us. We took it. We have the drive that we once lacked, and the life that we no longer had. Two became one. It was not a pleasant experience. We left our home, because we could not remain there, and we came to this place now. We have enough money for a fishing vessel, and with some vestige for our Second Life, we called it the Pride of Loch Lomond. We feed those who have no-one else to feed them. We follow the Path of Ma'at, to bring goodness to those that deserve it, and justice to those who do not.
