Idiot Sire: Cheree was a tourist who was Embraced by a guy named César González who did a lot of stupid things like Embracing random tourists. Less than 24 hours after her Embrace, her Sire flipped his Jeep over a cliff and burned to (final) death in the crash. He did a lot of stupid things like that, too, and no one who knew César González much liked him, and those did know him might either dislike Cheree for her connection to him, or pity her.
UC Prospect: Cheree finished up sophomore year in the BFA Contemporary Dance program at UC Prospect, went on a trip to Mexico with her family, and then never returned. There was a brief scandal around the murdered parents and missing daughter until the news networks got distracted by some other, bigger story. (Fame 1)
