- While Kiko has every intention of getting to know the local, American shifters, she belongs to the Hengeyokai Beast Courts. (As they do not use Hengeyokai rules, this is pure flavor).
- Kiko is the lead in the very popular J-Rock group, Love Kill Love. In Asia they are incredibly popular, with their strange mix of metal and J-Pop. They are beginning to gain traction among people in America who are interested in Japanese music or culture.
