Leopolo Familia Kumpania

Life in Europe was not easy for many during WWII. The Jews were not the only ones rounded up for the camps by Hitler. So were the Gypsies when they were discovered. The Leopolo Familia was almost wiped out except for a few generations who found a savior in Rakash who took them in, cared for them, and eventually brought them over to America. They have flourished in their way here, drawing in others through marriage and adoption into the familia, their numbers growing year by year.

The familia make their homes wherever they might be, traveling in caravan along the highways and byways of the U.S.A. They spend anywhere's from days to months in certain areas, peddling their wares and expertise in certain areas to the locals that might accept their somewhat temporary residency. No matter the date and current outlooks on things, there still remains those whispers and rumors about the naughty Gypsies that leave many wary of them.

Recently, the head of the familia, Rakash, has gone missing. During this time, it is Mirela who leads the familia with the backing of the Elders. Oddly, they seem to have a generous backing in the form of Alaster, a gaje.

Camp Information

Gaining access to land on the southern edge of town, the Leopolo Kumpania has set up their caravan along with others of similar backgrounds whether they travel with a Kumpania or on their own. Outsiders are often welcome to the Central Circle, but must be invited further within. Know that just as most might be wary of the Rom, that they are in turn, just as wary of you gaje.
