Streetwise 3: You've heard about the O'shannon family in Chula Vista. You don't know much about their hierarchy, or if they have any kind of leadership. But they certainly seem to be taking orders from somebody.

Streetwise 5: It's not a myth anymore. Almost all of the cartel presence in Chula Vista has been pushed out by the O'shannon family of the Irish mob, and that family is headed up by Lyra herself. She's been exceptionally visible to people at this level of knowing, likely to make some kind of point.

Legitimate Business: Lyra is the owner of the Lady of the Lakes in Chula Vista. An upscale Celtic pub in the Lakes district, and the Lucky Shamrock card room in the Downtown district.

Resonance, Magick and Taint: Something about Lyra's magick feels... Off. She possesses an extremely potent Entropic resonance, which may be offputting to some- and cause for concern for others. She carries an extremely potent wyrm taint, which is sure to warrant questioning.

Strict Paradigm: I do not practice or condone purple paradigm approaches to Mage. I hold myself to strict guidelines, and certain things are out of the bounds of said paradigm. I will not magic away all problems, because I am not able to. Not always. Herbs and reagents are necessary, and galdr can only accomplish so much. Worry not for 'lolfixing' from me. THIS DOES NOT MEAN: That Lyra will not have daily preparations, or prepare for a situation she expects may be dangerous. Lyra has been through a great deal of shit and KNOWS a great deal of shit. Of course she's going to take precautions. What this DOES mean is: Conflict will not be whisked away with a magic wand. Mage is still Mage. Lyra's paradigm is Celtic Traditional Witchcraft, in the style of Arthurian Legends and Celtic myth. The voice can manifest quick effects, as can gesture and will. Extended ritual is required for more involved, or impressive effects. Typically herbal mixtures, or ritualistic traditions., though the circumstances can vary.

What the Heck's Nephandic Taint?: This flaw does not lend any inherent bad vibes, nor does it mandate that a character be/behave evilly. It gives NO inclination to behavior and does not mean that the character with it is entirely selfish and wicked. It SOLELY effects the resonanc of the Mage's magick, coloring it qlippothic. The MAGIC feels horrible. But the person doesn't need to have evil motives too.

Disclaimer: Roleplay with Lyra carries some risks with it. One of these risks sits firmly in the reality that this character is not a nice person. You could say, a bitch. Anything Lyra says in character does NOT reflect OOC opinions. If I have a problem with you, I'll tell you. IC belongs in IC and nowhere else. Wyrm adjacent, Wyrm RPers can apply.
