His allegiance is suspect, as he never gives up the name of his employer. However fingers could easily point to the Count of Emerald Dale given that by Roger's word the Journeyman serve the County on their mission. When the crew discovered that the cannons supplied by Emerald Dale were sabotaged, Tabin believed it to be Roger's work. Conn discerned however, through Backwards Glance, that Roger was not involved in the sabotage. Whether he was in on it, or knew of it however, remains to be known.
