| Rocky is one of the few mystical bygones that live happily among humans.
He was one of a litter sent to various places for safe keeping around the world.
He ended up at Moonhaven Winery & Stables where he works as a guard dog.
There are attempts underway to repopulate his species because of the valuable nature of his species ability to "eat" paradox.
Hell-hounds are perhaps one of the most valuable living things on earth to a Mage and receiving one to take care of was a big responsibility.
Having grown up on the isolated farm around humans Rocky doesn't mind them at all. Even the tiny ones that cry all the time.
He follows a philosophy that he heard one of the humans talking about called Dogism and has made up Rocky's Rules to live by.
He has formed close bonds with some of the humans at the farm as well as a large group of regular dogs who he acts as the leader of patrolling the grounds and keeping all the Animals safe. He can make himself look more like a regular dog by transforming his armored flesh into fur. With just a little bit of effort he looks like any other black German Shepard, well, maybe a little bit larger but he still passes for normal... until he talks.
He's a good companion, a loyal friend, and a unholy terror to trespassers. It's a dog's life for him and he's enjoying it more every day.
Rocky can't do a lot of work around the farm because of his lack of hands so he spends a lot of time taking care of the kids while the people who can work the farm and take care of the animals are out doing all the hard labor. He's gotten to be good with kids and really enjoys his time with them.
