STREETWISE:
(1) A female biker who used to work the Emergency Room at Prospect General Hospital. Now heals both the physical and the mechanical, as she also has considerable skill in repairing vehicles, especially motorcycles. Also a reputable artist for those who like something exotic painted onto their fuel tanks.
(2) Roxy used to run with a motorcycle gang called the Devil's Legion. They left her behind after travelling east, though they regularly return to California. Having been with them for a couple of years, her criminal record has steadily grown.
(3) Her career at the Hospital came to an end after she was found to be skimming a few drugs from the pharmacy for personal use. There are rumors that she was under investigation for a murder charge, but the charges have been dropped.
(4) Not entirely dropped, Detective Copeland has put the murder investigation against her on hold after she performed some sort of favor for him. Unable to leave the city, Roxy is tied to the Detective until her debt is considered as paid.
(5) Detective Copeland's wife was critically ill until Roxy visited her. Less than 24 hours later the woman was walking around without a problem. No doctor could perform that sort of miracle. The leader of the Devil's Legion is rumored to be a powerful Sorcerer with a focus on Summoning, Binding & Warding, calling forth the Demons and Devils that give the gang their name.

HISTORY:
There was a time Roxy's future looked set in stone. A happy family, a good student, a university degree in medicine and a lucrative job at Prospect's General Hospital. She always had a bit of a wild side, driving motorcycles, partying throughout the night, even mild drug use, and so when the hospital work became too stressful she started stealing a few of the pharmacy drugs for herself. Just to take the edge off. Not as smart as she thought, it wasn't long before she was caught and her license was revoked. So began a soon to be long criminal record.
With her future in tatters, Roxy partied harder and soon found herself caught up with a motorcycle gang. They used her abilities as a doctor, while teaching her how to defend herself and taking her down a troublesome path. Drink, drugs, rock and roll, fighting and patching up the wounds. That criminal record continued to grow.
After a few strange nights, the police raided the gangs hangout and they were all pulled in for questioning. There had been a murder and a witness had given a description similar to Roxy's, so most of the gang was released while she stayed. After brokering a deal with the chief detective on the case, the claim against her was dropped and she was released, but was unable to leave Prospect while the investigation continued.
2019.12.08: Now stuck in the city as the gang continues riding around the country, Roxy has started looking for somewhere new to set down some roots. After finding Styx & Stones, a local biker bar and pool hall, she decided to spread her name around as a doctor for hire, no questions asked, no police involvement.
2019.12.09: Dawson, the proprietor, took her up on the offer, and she now has a small future working to heal up injured bikers. Hearing about her offer, multiple fixers have also been in contact, her name is spreading around the shadier side of the city faster than she expected.
2019.12.10: One of those fixers was a man called Ransom, a strange but very interesting man who offered her the world; a new, private surgery, the ability to perform cosmetic alterations, fully stocked and perfectly clean. His payment? Secrets. While the offer is tempting, Roxy can't help but think there's something more to this deal that she just isn't seeing.
2019.12.12: After a boring day, Roxy decided she'd try her hand at something new, as she was stuck in California for the forseeable future. Having always enjoyed being active, she picked up a Kung Fu outfit and headed to the Mitsunohana Dojo to try and improve her self defense skills. They started her with breakfalls and a little acrobatics, which she's failing horribly at. This could take a while...
2019.12.14: Hearing about a missing biker gang, the state of their hideout gave Roxy memories of the way her own gang used to operate. Deciding to investigate, she had the strangest night, finding bodies hanging upside down in a barn, a creature of nightmares, and some very aggressive animals. Feeling in danger, she fled back to her favorite biker bar, Styx & Stones, to regroup and assess what to do next.
2019.12.15: Having stayed at the Styx for the night, sleeping on the office couch, Roxy awoke to find an overworked woman called Bobbi. The pair immediately hit it off and Roxy has decided to take her mind off things by helping Bobbi at her garage to cover the Christmas rush. Roxy doesn't even want payment for it.
2019.12.16: Practice makes perfect and while Roxy is far from it, a few visits to the dojo is really showing in her abilities. The jumps and rolls are getting better (Athletics: 1, Acrobatics: 1) and the Kung Fu style is really starting to take form (Martial Arts Hard & Soft Styles: 1). Now getting a taste for the art, Roxy can't wait to go again!
2019.12.17: Having agreed to work for Bobbi, Roxy visited and they both went to work on the bikes waiting in the garage. Their friendship continued to blossom, with each person sharing information about themselves and even revealing some secrets. Hearing about Bobbi being stalked, Roxy stayed over with her Desert Eagle in hand, acting as bodyguard should something weird happen overnight, while Bobbi offered to look into Roxy's murder charge and investigate the case to find the real murderer. By the time the night was over, Roxy decided she had made a real friend.
... to be continued.
