Unicorn's Rest is a Seelie held Commoner Mew in the forest of Southern Prospect, at the edge of the County of Lion’s Reach. It is Held and overseen by [[Thoreau]] Baumgarten, a Wilder Ghille Dhu, and [[Felicite]] Teshi, a Wilder Possum Pooka. There is a distinct adherence to a rather arboreal way of life; the Mew itself consisting of structures built on and around the trees rather than ground-level walls and castle. The majority of the Mew lies up in the heavy branches of the oldest tree in the Grove, a fitting location for its Holders' Kiths.<br><br>The Guardians of the Mew are welcoming to all sorts, Kithain and acknowledged Kinain alike, please no Prodigals, so long as they adhere to the Escheat and do no harm to the forest and creatures of the Dreaming; especially not the adolescent black Unicorn that gives the Mew its name .<br>

Unicorn's Rest is a Seelie held Commoner Mew in the forest of Southern Prospect, at the edge of the County of Lion’s Reach. It is Held and overseen by Thoreau Baumgarten, a Wilder Ghille Dhu, and Felicite Teshi, a Wilder Possum Pooka. Unicorn's Rest was formally established in the spring of 2020, when two Commoner Kithain (Thoreau and Felicite) Oathed to and revived the Balefire after the previous Holder, the self-declared 'Baroness Silverflame', left the County of Lion's Reach. Its new name was chosen after a contingent of student Wilders from the Covey-Fychell College befriended a small, black, Unicorn that had chosen to make the forest around the Mew its newest stomping (and chomping, given the way it was devouring its way through the local flora) grounds.

What passes as a Court at Unicorn's Rest. This is where the Holder and Guardian see guests and hold 'court' over any important matters that might arise.

Treetops

The Bar and gathering place for the Mew. Lots of seating, bountiful refreshments, a warm and welcoming Balefire, and a beautiful view of the forest below can be found here.
