A jaffling appears before Andy, likely in some completely inappropriate time or fashion. The gremlin-like creature is about two feet tall, and dressed like.. a leprechaun. Except, he's carrying a butcher knife and a cigar. He walks across the surface top, to make sure he's eye-to-eye with Andy before it belches and says, "You the shmuck known as Lucky Bastard?.. I got a message for you. Calls Down The Rain has heard tale of one of your cubs. Lleutrim Donnachaidh." The spirit waves his phantom cigar and plums smoke from his thin elvish lips before he continues, "You should bring him to the Sept of the Wakened Wood to meet with the Elder Fiann. Don't dally he says, and don't bring anyone who doesn't drink either."

Andy is just.. trying... to.. eat... a goddamn.. Andy just looks annoyed and stops with the munching .. on his apple, you sick bastards. He tosses it in the trash and makes grumbly sounds. "I'll go get him. Goddammit. These applesa re going to.. fucking.. go.. bad... fuck.." He mutters, calling out to Lucie that he's going to go take a cub to his death and then lupuses out the door to Lleutrim - wherever he is. "C'mon. Elder wants you." He'll wait like.. three seconds for Lleutrim and whoever might be with him, and then takes off at a good pace.

Johanna was meeting with Lleutrim, getting to know him better and planning a patrol soon together with some of the new Cliaths when Andy showed up. She looks between them, and figures why the heck not? Tagging along with a Cub when the Den Father comes calling and an Elder wants to see him? What could go wrong?

Lleutrim had just heard Johanna's howl and turned to greet her. Barely a word exchanged when Andy showed up. So Lleu hid his cabin key, slipped into Lupus and came along at once. He's already pissed off enough Elders and knows better than to dally when the Denfather shows up. Now, if only Lleu had seen the little Scottish Leprechaun!

The 'young' Galliard runs alongside, still bothered about his need to make things right with Lights-the-Darkness and Weathers-the-Storm, yet watchful and wondering what is going on. Lleu's in big doo-doo, isn't he?

Sergei shows up with Andy, walking along quietly and looking rather serious as he takes in the situation.

Johanna shifts to lupus as well to follow along. She is only a Fostern, but she knows something is up. The Den Father would not just come by for no reason. She chuffs to Sergei in recognition of the wolf of higher rank being there as well, but otherwise remains quiet and brings up the back of this line.

On the other side of the moon-bridge, is the beautiful Sept of the Wakened Wood. The massive redwood trees seem to reach higher than the clouds when one steps out, and the Caern's center is filled with music and dancing - with far less clothing and the scent of booze and spirits in the air. When the visitors come through, they are greeted with smiles and clanging mugs of booze, welcomed with hugs and kisses and encouraged to take up mugs of their own and join in the dance. The fire in the center burns brightly in the middle, hot and bright - as though an elemental was dancing within it.

A broad smiling Scottsman spreads his arms out wide at the sight of Andy to welcome the warrior. "Greetings and welcome to the Sept of the Wakened Wood. I am Duncan Macintosh, known to the Council as Calls Down The Rain. I am the Elder Caller of the Wyld, Child of Stag, Songster and Storyteller. I am the Alpha of the Knights of Avalon, and your host for the evening. Come, feast.. drink.. shag.. and be merry!" he laughs deeply.

The Scottsman gives a look around and asks, "Where be the lad, and who are these wonderful folks you've brought with you?" the man speaks in a thick Scottish brogue which the Storyteller will not be attempting to articulate in any form beyond the power of the player's imaginations.

Andy had HEARD about this place. Might have even BEEN to this place in his bachelor days. He accepts hugs and mugs and .. no, not drugs. That's BAD, Andy. He dips his head politely to Calls Down the Rain. "I'm Andy Davis, Rited Lucky Bastard, Homid Athro Ragabash, born on two legs, mated to Lucie of the Get of Fenris tribe, father to Allie and Einar and soon to be .. hell, maybe a couple more. This.." He motions toward Lleutrim. ".. is our new cub." Andy sips while he has a chance before work takes over again.

Sergei did take an offered mug, to do mother russia proud and when its his turn he introduces himself "Sergei Ivanov of human name. Among the Nation I am Howling-Wind, son of Bloody-Snow, son of Blood-on-the-Wind. Wolf-born Ahroun of Great Wendigo's people at the Sept of the Siberian Wilds. I am now a member of the Sept of Enduring Spirit and the Pack Terminal Velocity in service to Merlin and the Nation as an Adren."

As they come to the strange wood over the moon bridge, the large grey wolf with ruddy sides is alert and curious. Silvery grey eyes take in the immense wood as well as the merry making. Lleu hangs back a little at first, letting those of higher rank to proceed him. It's all a little strange to him. The Fianna blooded wolf sniffs the air and the ground near to him until Lleu hears his name. His shifts back to his human form, glances to Johanna, then comes forward a few steps. "I'm Lleutrim Robert Donnachaidh, Cub, born on two legs beneath the Gibbous moon." No thick Scottish brogue for him and a short introduction. If he's handed something to drink, he'll accept it if the others of his group are doing so. "Pleased to meet you, Calls Down the Wind-rhya, sir."

Johanna shifts back to homid, and is surprised with all the merriment, but not totally unexpected. She accepts the offerings and adds in her own, "I am Johanna Isla Cooper, rite named Starchaser, born on two legs beneath the Half Moon, Fostern of the Stargazers. Daughter of Seeks-the Stars, granddaughter of Calls-Down-The Stars-To-Judge, great granddaughter of Stardancer. Packed with Aster Iustum, children of Peregrine. Mated to Khol Cooper of the Stargazers." She does not say too much more for now.

The Scottsman nods deeply and smiles broad, "Welcome to you all, please come.. enjoy the celebration of the White Hart." He notices Lleutrim about to reach for a mug, and he reaches over and intercepts and takes it from him. "Excellent Cub, you know your introduction. Your Sept has done fine work in preparing you." He looks between them, then towards Andy, "Does he have a Fiann mentor assigned to him?" A gesture is made towards Andy to sit on one of the stumps by the fire. Then a look is given towards Sergei and he nods, "Welcome to the Sept of the Wakened Wood Howling Wind. What is your assessment of this cub's strength? Will he survive Stag's tests, and become a great warrior do you think?"

A bit of a suspicious look is given towards Johanna but a nod none the less. "Welcome Starchaser. It is quite unusual for one of your Tribe to visit this Sept. The White Hart is welcoming and elusive as always, may the Spirits flow from our cups and our bellies swell with fine feast together." He turns finally to reach out and grasps hold of Lleutrim's shoulder, "Welcome cub. You will meet others about to embark on the same journey as you. You will recognize them, because they too will be sober and horny as shit - because during the fostering, you are not allowed to taste booze or shag so much as your own hand until you complete your Rite of Passage!" he laughs and takes a swig of his mug. "Now sit with me, we have much to discuss my boy. Tell me what you know of the Fianna so far. Impress me."

"He doesn't," Andy states, taking a seat. "I've introduced him to Connor, but Connor does what Connors do, Elder. He has several teachers, though, ranging from Kinfolk to Elders. He hasn't been ignored." He does take a seat, though, sipping his drink.

Sergei nods in agreement with the Den Father "There are two Cliath Fianna on my patrol lists that I was considering introducing him to since his Eldest in our sept is so busy. Neither are of his Auspice though and If I know even one thing to be true it is that Fianna take a talesinger's training very very seriously."

Johanna is keeping respectful, as it does seem odd for a Stargazer to be here. "Thank you." She listens to the others and this issue. She says, "Perhaps there are other talesinger's within the Sept that should be helping him as well? Even if they are not Fianna. To be sure he gets that training." She does not know of too many of them, but certainly there is some since the Moots happen every month.

The cup is taken from his hand. Lleu stands very still, watching, listening. He's not tense but he is real quiet. The 'sober and horny as shit' part almost makes him laugh! No, he suppresses it and stays focused, "Fostering?" Donnachaidh moves to take a seat where he's told to do so, wearing a USMC T-shirt, blue jeans and combat boots. "I'm familiar with the tales of the historical Fianna, Fhèinne in the Scottish Gaelic, who were led by Fionn mac Cumhaill, formerly lead by his father Cumhall. As for among the Nation, I have been told they are a passionate people who love music, drinking, fighting, and romance. Tied to the old Druidic beliefs in the Fae folk, originating with the ancient Gauls of Europe and the Gaelic peoples of the British Isles, especially Ireland, Scotland, and Wales." Lleu turns his head and gives a nod to Johanna, "Hushed-Blaze-rhya is a Galliard. I need to spend more time learning from her, aye." He looks to Sergei with curiosity.

Lleutrim then eyes the cèilidh on going in the woods around them and adds low, "I should have worn my kilt."

Calls Down The Rain nods his head and says to Andy, "For now then, if you approve.. I will be his tribal mentor. There is much he will need to know of our tribe before he is allowed to walk amongst us." The man turns to look over Lleutrim and says, "Good, I am pleased you know some of our history. It is important that you understand the Threes. Our Tribe values Family, Passion and Ancestry in all things. We prize the Old Ways, as these traditions teach us of the Father's will for us. You will need to know the three faces of Stag, not only in spirit but also in yourself. We each have three faces.. The White Hart, Cernunnos and the Horned One. To truly be Fianna, you must know these truths about yourself and embrace them. Stag teaches us many things, these traditions teach us of the Triads, Virtues, the Fae, Perfection, Physical Deformity and Life. Once you learn the 12 great sagas of our tribe, you will understand these lessons and they will carry you throughout your years."

CDtR motions towards Sergei and Johanna and says, "He would do well to learn from the Galliards of your Sept while he prepares. At the moment we have about a half dozen others who are getting ready for the Rite of Passage as well. I wish to extend you the invitation for your cub to join them and prove himself. We do not normally allow those outside of our Sept to join, but I have heard great things of your Sept and its deeds. If you believe this cub is ready that is." he looks towards Andy to confirm as much.

Andy grins, ear to ear, over his cup as he listens. When attention turns back to him, though, he nods. "I'm alright with it. It's early, it's SOON, but he's got a pretty good handle on his Rage. His mouth needs some work, from what I hear, but I think that him learning with a group is a good way to go."

Sergei nods in agreement with Andy "I have seen him fight minions of the wyrm both alone and with others. My assesment concurs with our Den Father, the only way forward is through."

Johanna nods as well, even though her experience is limited.

The Fianna blooded Cub is being pretty quiet at the moment. Lleu listens to what Calls Down the Rain has to say and he gives a faint nod when he's spoken to, at various points. "Yes, sir, Calls-Down-the-Rain-rhya." Mostly though he's keeping his mouth shut unless he's directly asked a question. Lleu does turn his head slightly to see what Andy's reply might be though Lleu doesn't react to the truths given. Then to Sergie and Johanna ere his attention returns to CDtR.

CDtR nods his head, taking a big swig of his mead and grins over the brim of his mug. "Good to hear." he offers to Sergei when he attests for the cub's physical prowess. He turns his gaze back to look towards Lleutrim once more, and studies him over, "Ya have a honey kinfolk waiting for you to man up so she can shag you down yet?" he dances his Scottish eyebrows with a grin before he turns to look back towards Andy. He considers for a moment and says, "A bit lippy is he?.. Well, there is a good use for a Fianna tongue anytime. The next time he over expresses himself, have him tell one of the great Fianna sagas in long form on the spot. I'm sure after he's spoken straight for twenty minutes, he'll have much less to say on the topic of dispute." He chuckles and reaches over to give Lleutrim a good pat on the back.

"Stag will demand you be tested in particular ways my boy. You must be pure to receive his blessing.. no drink and no pleasure until you see his face. You must know the sagas of our Tribe, and be ready to recite them on demand. You must be strong, and your strength will be tested. You must make a sacrifice worthy. Last, you must be able to pass into the Otherworld and greet Stag face to face. Then, and only then will you be accepted and welcomed to walk amongst us. Do you understand?"

Andy just nods, glancing over at Lleutrim to see his take on things

Sergei has said his bit to present the Trainee for testing, and now waits to see how it goes.

Lleutrim looks to Calls Down the Rain and gives a faint nod to the question of a kinfolk lassie, "I do." Ugh, twenty minute recitals of Sagas he hasn't even learned yet. And no, they don't want to hear the Norse ones. He takes the back thumping in good order as you'd expect of a Marine. "I haven't bedded a gal in about three years. That part won't be any different from usual." Maybe a little sarcasm there but Lleu nods. "I'll learn them. I understand, Calls Down the Rain-rhya." Questions he has will wait.

Johanna watches Lleutrim to see what he thinks and bites her tongue so as not to smirk at his honesty.

"Three years?! Did you get gelded or something?" the man blurts out without so much as remorse before he looks towards Andy and Sergei, then to Johanna and says, "I'm surprised he didn't rampage half the local population during his First Change. The lad must be on the brink. Should probably tie him down during his moons or something - he's probably going half-blind every time a way-lass walks in the room. Shit." He turns to look back towards Lleutrim and shakes his head, "I'm sorry lad, that's right awful. We'll be sure your lass is prepared to greet you once you complete your trials. Nothing quite like a good tussle after you kick in the Wyrm's teeth. Give you a hard-on like a redwood tree. Trust me, your wee-lass will be singing your praises." He winks and then he motions, "Enough of all that.. be miserable, it's good for the spirit. Encourage your friends here to drink and be merry. This celebration is for you lad. I have matters to attend, but you are all welcome to stay and enjoy the festivities."

Ugh, it's hard keeping your promises!
