Stephen would have taken a break from recent adventures in the Abyss to park his butt in the central meadow around the fire pit, where a SMALL fire is crackling away. The Wendigo seems to be, for the moment, just taking it easy and allowing his attention to be mesmerized by the flames, soaking in the peacefulness of the edge of the caern.

Cindy wanders hits way after her once over by the Warder. She is pondering her ruined shoes, pouting. Then she stops. "Oh. Hi. Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."

Stephen jolts a little at the sound of a voice, attesting to how kinda out of it he was. He turns to look with a raised brow and gives Cindy a slow once over, then slowly shakes his head, "You were not interrupting. I do not recognize you, however, and if that is my failing, I apologize. Who might you be? And are you looking for someone in particular?"

Cindy bows low. "I am new. Just finished getting my approval from the Warder." Once does talking she stands straight again. "Cindy. Glass Walker kinfolk."

Stephen ohhhs softly and actually smiles a little at that, guesturing to the rest of the fire ring in a bit of an invitation for her to sit if she'd like to, "Welcome to the caern, Cindy. I'm afraid I only know a couple of Glass Walkers, but I'm sure we can make sure they get word you are here...last I checked, they had built an Arcology downtown which is likely where most of them are. I am Stephen, rited Broken Fang, Adren Theurge of the Wendigo, born on four legs. Have you had a chance to meet anyone, well, other than the Warder, yet?"

Cindy bowns again. "An honor to meet you, rhya." She smiles at the invitation and walks over to find a way to sit next tothe fire. "Not yet. I'm very new here."

Stephen smiles a little more and murmurs, "Please, take it easy. I am...not as hard nosed about the honorifics as others. One can tell when another is addressing you with respect, without making them insert words in their speech." He ponders the newness for a moment, and nods, "So what do you do, Miss Cindy? What skills do you have? I might be able to make some suggestions for people you should speak to..."

Cindy has a hard time sitting but the fire in a dignified way in a short skirt. Eventually she gets there. Your question draws a blush and she looks around. "WEll out here I'm not sure what I can do. I have a business degree," she proudly continues. "I'm looking for ... opportunities. I was so eager to get out on my own I left some of the details out."

Stephen waggles his hand at the comment and shakes his head, "Oh, you dont have to be able to do something out HERE. Kinfolk are our shield between ourselves and humans. You own the businesses and do the work we cannot do ourselves, and would scare off the mundanes we would need to get to do it. So, a business degree. Do you already have a job in Prospect or did you want to check in with us furry butts before looking?"

Cindy puts a hand over her mouth. She laughs at 'furry butts' but tries to look like she isn't. "Um, that second thing." SHe giggles.

Stephen grins for a moment and winks, "I am lupus and I have only been out here among the masses for about three years, so sometimes the words I use are a little off. I have spent MOST of my time here studying Rites and spirits and not so much exploring the scar, so if I seem to not understand something you mention, it is most definitely on me." Again, he pauses, "So it sounds like we definitely need to get you in touch with Hushe...er, Brooke. Rited Hushed Blaze. She is an Elder of the Glasswalkers and very, very approachable. I am Wendigo and she has been as helpful to me at times as one of her own tribe."

Cindy repeats the name. "Got it. Yes. I need to present myself to her. Glad to hear she's nice. So so you spend most of your time out here?" she asks with wide eyes and an earnest expression.

Stephen thinks for a moment and reaches into his shirt to pull out the cellphone he has on a chain around his neck, "Do you have one of these? I can give you her number." At the question, he tilts his head a little, "I would say a lot of my time. I have a pregnant mate now, so some of my time is spent at home so she does not always have to come out here to see me."

Cindy giggles at the question. "I do. I wasn't sure if they were allowed here so I didn't bring it. BUt I have some paper if you could writ it down. That would be great, thanks you. And congratulations! What is your mates name?"

Stephen nods and can take a moment to do that, smiling as he hands it over, "Her name is Daciana. Im sure you'll get a chance to meet her sooner or later. The doctor has said she is pregnant with triplets, so she has already said she feels like a beached whale and wont be moving around much..."

Cindy pails a bit and a hand goes to her own stomach. "Wow! Um ... wow." Smooth talker here. "Congratulations. That's going to be a lot of work. But al ot of joy too."

Stephen chuckles softly, "I have been warned, yes. It will be me first child as well as hers, so I am sure we are heading for disaster, but we will see how bad it gets." He tilts his head, "Have you had any children of your own?"

Cindy giggles and shakes her head. Again her hand moves to her belly. "Oh no. Not me. But, you know. I've got plenty of time and stuff."

Stephen hehs softly and nods, "You do, you do. There is enough crazy stuff going on here that I am sure you wont be bored anytime soon. Once you talk to Brooke, let me know where you settle so I know if I should be throwing some business your way, yes?"

Cindy looks a little alarmed by that. "Wow. Good toknow. I mean ... what sort of stuff? Anythign I should look out for?"

Stephen mmms, "Oh, nothing frightening I dont think. Just oddness. Last week there was a public party at one of the local restaurants for Alice in Wonderland. I understand that a lot of people showed up in costume and played the part most of the night."

Cindy breaths a sigh of relief. "Oh. I thought I saw something about a first responder fund raiser. Was that it?"

Stephen mmms and shakes his head, "I dont...think...so? Prospect is a big city. I am sure there are multiple parties going on at any one time. Either way, there seems to be always something to do even if nothing is going on here. If I am not here or at home, I will be at the Kinfolk House Clearing chopping wood and clearing up around there."

Cindy grins quickly. "That place I found!" She sits up, chest out and smile proud. "I was there and told I needed to get checked out. Which was painless." She giggles. "I was born into the only other sept I've ever lived at so I didn't know what to expect."

Stephen nods slowly, "This is my first sept as well. I was born into a wolf pack out on Reservation territory. After my first change, the tribe sent me here to learn how to be a better homid. It has been...surprsingly challenging."

Cindy giggles a little. "Well if I can help wit THAT just let me know." She grins warmly. "How to be human I do know."

Stephen grins, "I am working on it. Lately it seems that pop culture is what keeps tripping me up. I have not grown up with cartoons and television and movies like most homids, so almost all of the referecnes...how do they say? Fly right over my head.

Cindy sits and thinks a little. She grins and pats your leg. "Once I find a place to live how about a movie night? You and Dacinia."

Stephen laughs and nods, "I'll see if she's up to paying someone a visit when that comes around. Just let us know? She might be far enough along she doesnt wanna go anywhere, and I would not blame her.

Cindy winces. "Oh right. Do you guys live out here? in the woods? Or somewhere closer to the city? I could bring something to you."

Stephen mmms, "Daciana has a stone cabin set out in the forest a ways from here. We dont allow any actua construction anywhere near the Caern. Cannot risk damaging a special place of Gaia like that. I'll talk to her and then we can send you a text and work something out?"

Cindy nods. "Sure. I mean just an idea. If you guys want. I'm trying to find someplace in the city." She points at herself. "Glasswalker."

Stephen chuckles and nods, "Of course, of course." With that said, he groans and slowly rises to his feet, "I hate to just leave you alone, but speaking of, I need to get back to check on her. Send Brooke a text when you get oout of here, and Im certain she will get back with you quickly. She's usually very good about timely responses."

Cindy stands up and offers you her hand. "Of courese. An honor meeting you."
