Freehold Information

The freehold itself is found in the tall black tower that stands in the middle of a vast green meadow. It is said that the Watchtower was built over a volcanic opening and that within the basement, odd lava-steam-powered engines can be found that offer power to the tower and other contraptions.

Defenders

Ebonwatchtower-guardian.jpg

These huge black red-eyed hounds have come into being as defenders of the Watchtower. Despite resembling enormous dogs, they act very little like household pets; the hounds are completely silent and rarely tolerate 'doggie' behavior such as attention in the form of petting or treats. They have a job to do, and nothing deters them from dangers to the watchtower itself or a threat to its inhabitants. The hounds are known to go across the rath to the tavern adjacent where they keep a blazing red eye upon things, making sure no one who shouldn't stumble through the rath manages to do so. While they operate independently the majority of the time, they have been seen to take direct orders (of admittedly simple commands) from Ethan himself.

Attendants

Ebonwatchtower-attendents.png

An example of the various clockwork and earth golems that attend those around the Watchtower. Occasionally referred to as "clanks", as their metal-and-stone bodies do not move silently about, however they do not speak. They are known to clean, fetch, and even attend however they can. They all seem to run upon some sort of steam engine operating off the lava beneath the freehold, they travel as far as the stables but go no further and have yet to frequent the Autumn World via the rath.

Freehold Units

The units affiliated with the Ebon Watchtower are currently unknown.
