Conrad Macek/Introduction

Long ago, in the wastes of Siberia rested the demesne of the Audron Veles ap Varich; known amongst the lessers as the Midnight Warden of the North Wind. He was a powerful dream lord, the brother of three and to each of them they ruled one of the winds as well as a vestige of time. Each hated the other, but would not exist without the other three.

Of his siblings and House Varich as a whole he has come to despise the Pattern. While it is a necessity whether he likes it or not, the road of life and destiny is futile and if anything be it the fae, humanity, twinkies, anything is to be granted salvation from what the doomsayers speak then the Pattern must be broken and a new one put in its place. Chaos over stagnation, his place amongst the Unseelie is unshakable. The Pattern will fall before he becomes it's slave.

As a recent immigrant from Arcadia, much of the world is still new to him though he has come to terms with much. The House of Sun and Shadow are recent entrants into the Autumn World and only time will tell if this second life the Pattern has given him will give him the freedom he seeks or the doom that comes to blind subservience.
