We are now seeking PCs to fill the position of staffing the Institute.

Looking for Agents, Agents in Training, as well as:

  • Mage Sphere - For field work, resource preservation, & more. Technocrats See Note below.
  • Scholars- Knowledge experts on each particular sphere. These secrets are carefully kept and shared only with the appropriate agents and the High Council.
  • High Council - At the moment staffed by NPCs but opportunities in PrP will arise for PCs to lead. Active players only.
  • Hunters - A hunter specializes in only ONE sphere of said hunting at the start.
  • Internal Conflict Groups - You don't like the current leadership, or the current rituals, the inhumane methods of the Institute. You want to change it from inside, but you must be very careful who you talk to. This concept will be used in ongoing PrP.
  • Keepers - The keepers of secrets are the most loyal PCs one could create; they must not leak out any secrets outside of the Institute as they are the closest to the truth. Keepers participate and create Rituals for attaining this truth. They also choose who to share it with, and have more flexibility in enlightenment. The concepts that Keepers may be are: Tradition Mage; Shamans, Sorcerers, Vampires on paths of greater knowledge (or well hidden paths of humanity), Fera spheres seeking to understand Gaia, Wyrm, creation & Destruction, as well as Wraith, and Mummy. There will be internal conflicts and arguments between various Keepers, but ultimately the initial job of the Keepers was to work together, in hopes to figure out the great truth of how all Supernatural fits together in this great Puzzle of Existence.
  • Wraiths - the best agents are dead. Insert Mummy & more.
  • Architects, Engineers, Healers - Creators who will manipulate matter; perform experiments; as well as attend to medical needs and evaluation of the Institute members & enemies.
  • Possessed - It is rumored within the Institute that at one point a Demon held dominion over it. This had been dealt with, albeit the Institute was therein influenced and continues to be influenced by demonic presence. Inquire with Keeper role to know more.

Note: The Institute is an organization older than its name. It has only recently went under the name of Institute due to changes in leadership. Internal conflicts can often be War-like. While the Players will survive this war, plenty of NPCs will not. All PCs are urged to have NPC attachments, friends, colleges, and enemies. The Institute has not always been Library-like or represented a knowledge database. This is reflective of the current Keepers and the leader. This influences rituals, current focus, and what we call "The Tide."

Note for Technocrats: Due to ongoing internal PrP, this is a restricted class. Please contact Brenner if you wish to join us with one of your technocrat concepts!
