LEGACY Wrestling Presents: [The] Peter Bauer Tribute Show (8/9/14)

@ The Carson Community Center in Carson, California

w/ Len Ragatti and Tracy Race on Commentary

Unfortunately, LEGACY closed its doors before this show could have gone on. Here is a preview of what could have been...

Making it a hat-trick, LEGACY Wrestling continues to roll as with three shows in the book-- they're looking for another successful, the fourth. With some surprises like mending of fences with Miles and Dante Lozio-- to Peter Bauer getting 'faction fever' and beginning to form his own to have a foot-hold in the game, the night will probably be remembered for Bauer's HUGE announcements regarding the start of TWO tournaments to crown champions- of course one being the LEGACY Tag Team Champions and the other; the LEGACY Classic Championship! Also, we can't forget about our esteemed owner- King Treborn making it known that he will be AT the show with an announcement of his own regarding the LEGACY Heavyweight Championship.. Plus a shining moment for Bobby Langford where... at least for at least now, he managed to put a halt on Christian Othniel and his 'Evil Ways'. But as awesome as a show that was.. it may pale in comparison to what's to come on August 9th..

Kicking the night off, Peter Bauer DEMANDED that the night start off with a bang, so a bang it shall be! Signed by King Treborn- coming off a three year sabbatical from the industry, Robert Goldstein will lace up his boots and square off against Duke Andrews who was the victim of an attack by some unseen force. Goldstein is a man of class- he smokes cigars and lives life the way it should be. Duke Andrews on the other hand hunts and that says enough about the man's man he is. These two will clash in what promises to be a GREAT start.

The FIRST official match of the LEGACY Tag Team Championships features the bright, up and coming team of Hayden Phoenix and Ian Windermear named Rising Wind. Formed when Hayden offered Ian to watch his back, these two had an impressive showing against Wayne Williams and Joey Edwards-- so impressive that they were actually the first name added to the tournament. Standing in their way though? The reconciled brotherly bond of The Lozios! After a rough start for Miles, Dante and he made peace with the situation and are looking to get back going.. This promises to be something special as Hayden and Ian are VERY good-- but better than brothers?

After [as many believe] costing her associate- Christian Othniel the match against Bobby Langford at Break on Through, Ruby Red finds herself back in the ring as she got to watch from beyond at the possible new wave that plans to challenge her for her throne of being the best Lady of LEGACY. Ashley Williams who BARELY was beat out by Mikah finds herself standing across from The Crimson Queen.. Bauer is said to have a soft-spot for Ruby as he finds her beautiful- could Ashley get one over- or will Ruby's reign of dominance continue?

After barging into Bauer's office and demanding a shot against Silas Romero due to Romero's questionable win at Independence Day-- Bauer told Matlock straight, he needed to earn it.. so there is his shot. What Matlock didn't know however-- was that he'd not only get the chance to face Silas with a win but also, he'd have the opportunity to advance in the LEGACY Classic Championship tournament! Ryan Hawkins-- a guy down on his luck has the shot to turn it ALL around here as if he manages to eliminate Matlock, he could build some momentum heading forward. Matlock's quest to return to glory begins here.. but will Hawkins live up to his potential and stop it?! We'll see!

Making his SHOCKING debut during his buddy Christian Othniel's 'retirement' Con Escobar arguably saved CO from a beating at the hands of Bobby Langford-- well.. Esco will make his IN-RING debut against Kevin Moss, who's been slowly fading from view. Esco is also looking to build his way back to the top.. and what better way to do that then to DESTROY Moss at Bauer's own tribute show? Kevin Moss though, he's no pushover. Managing to push Aiden Marx to his limit at one time.. only time will tell if that was a fluke performance or what but the one thing that Moss brings is uncertainty.. Then again, Esco doesn't mind-- he's in the business of DESTROYING so Moss better be ready for war.

In the second of the two LEGACY Tag Team Tournament Matches at [The] Peter Bauer Tribute Show, we find ourselves getting a look at the newly minted "Washington's Republic" which is the tag team made up of 'The Steel City Dream' Bobby Langford and 'War Machine' Noah Adelaide, of course being managed by Frank Washington. Bobby has been absolutely ROLLING as of late-- Noah has been equally as impressive.. so these two Emerald Academy alumni will make their team partnership and their opponents? Richard Steen's duo of Joey Edwards and Wayne Williams. Despite falling short against Rising Wind at Break on Through, Edwards and Williams has all the tools to go far as they showed-- so this should be a clash for the ages! Will Washington's Republic lay down the law of the land.. or will Steen's Advocates steal one and advance into the next round?

And then there was one.. well, the second. The final of the two LEGACY Classic Championship Tournament Matches finds- arguably the hottest name on the roster at the moment in 'The Hipster Hercules' Silas Romero.. as he squares off against 'Above Average' Joe Cooper. Romero has been unstoppable recently, shutting up critics left and right all as he's managed to gain that useful 'nod' from Bauer as 'the best in-ring talent LEGACY has to offer'.. but it won't be easy, not with Joe Cooper standing across from him. Cooper basically went into the match against WASTE by himself as Moss didn't seem to be there but STILL managed to come out looking like a champion. Romero and Cooper has every opportunity to be a show-stealer and many are anticipating these two to put on the match of the evening.. Hipster Demigod versus Above Average.. that should be.. AWESOME!

Then-- the main event of the evening.. and what a main event it is! The Clientele.. Drew Stevenson, Drexel and Bison, of course managed by Decaine finds themselves in uncharted territory after their run of dominance.. as we learned that after Break on Through this was an EXECUTIVE CALL by King Treborn to have Johnny Bonecrusher's client-- Adrian Abernathy Gates team with Stan Biehn's Samoan Suicide Squad to challenge Decaine's army. Drew and AAG had a run in already, things got tense between the two but didn't go any further than that.. where as Drexel, Bison, Antivenom and [The] Scar?! They've been to hell and back TWICE. A JAM-PACKED, definitely COMBUSTIBLE main event will close out Peter Bauer's Tribute Show.. but for the first time since his debut.. The Emerald is actually looking across the ring at worthy challengers.. This'll be a FIGHT for the AGES!

Also Featuring: Christian Othniel should be in the house despite falling to Bobby Langford-- will the awkward run-ins with Mikah continue.. and does CO have a 'Plan B' for Bobby managing to stop [for the moment] CO's 'Evil Ways' laced purge? Scotty Addams OFFICIALLY answered Zarek Lyle's challenge but made it clear there will be ONE match and ONE match only-- Scotty is said to be looking forward to the challenge.. but it's unknown whether or not if LEGACY has reached out to close out the deal with Zarek Lyle. We saw the debut of the rather unknown Tyrone Solomon which saw him get decimated by Adrian Abernathy Gates-- but earned respect through it all as he managed to show some serious heart-- it's said that Solomon after that showing was signed to the promotion and will probably be around, another solid addition to the roster. Expect WASTE to make their presence known-- also Prince and Ripper Treborn.. will we find out more about the mysterious We Will Rise invaders that made quite the statement at Alex Andrews and Duke Andrews' expense?! Also.. What about that note that the geisha handed to Silas Romero!? What was in it?! Make sure to tune in and find out!
