Maki was raised in Tokyo Japan, the daughter of a man who was a prominent figure in a gang. Her mother left when she was a young girl so Maki was raised by a nanny, her schooling consisting of private tutors. While she had her nanny, the only other motherly figure in her life was her father's lady, Yasuko, an assassin in her father's gang. The woman taught her how to be a lady but as Maki grew into a beautiful young woman, Yasuko taught her some other useful traits. She taught her how to lie like an expert, and to use her beauty to her advantage. She taught her that just listening was a powerful trait in itself, gaining valuable information. Cunning and reserved is what Maki became, maintaining an innocent image. This innocent image working to her advantage...no one would suspect the innocent flower.

Her early life wasn't the normal childhood of a young girl. She grew up around the gang world. She knew what was going on in her home...all the aspects of the gang life..crooked business deals and crime. All too often she heard the cries of the tortured...only to put on her headphones to block out the sound. When she was older the gang used her and her skills to gain information for her father's gang. It went flawlessly but even then after a few years her fortune ran out. The rival gang sold her and she was shipped to Chinatown in Prospect CA. She was tortured and broken...hearing the screams of the other women around her. She hung there, revenge seething in her mind. One evening she heard something new...and 3 people came in...the Wicked Sinners. They killed her captors and they had saved her. She now has a new life in Prospect, CA with a new family.
