St. Agnes Family Clinic

This is the small clinic wherein Lord Sterling has his medical practice in the Autumn World. In his human identity, he is the head physician of the clinic, a general practitioner specializing in family medicine. St. Agnes accepts many forms of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. However, it also caters to those low-income families in need of medical care. Nurse Fiske is something of an expert in navigating the labrynth of medical coverage, and has a knack for finding ways to help families in need to cover the medical bills. Dr. Sterling himself has been known to work free of charge for the truly needy, hearkening back to his days as a member of Doctors Without Borders to provide free wellness checkups. It is also known throughout Lion's Reach that Kithain in need of medical assistance can seek him out at St. Agnes for aid without need for payment.

Funded partially by charity donations and attached to the Sisters of Mercy Medical Network, the St. Agnes Clinic employs a small but dedicated staff of health care professionals in varying positions, including:

  • Dr. Sarah Farmer - a matronly woman in her late 40s who is an established obstetrics specialist, working with expecting mothers.
  • Dr. Henry Taylor - a kindly man pushing 60 who has been a pediatrics specialist for decades, seeing to the needs of younger patients.
  • Joanne Fiske - the vivacious receptionist for the clinic, Joanne is also a nurse-practitioner and works as the clinic's nurse-on-call.
  • Dr. Mitzi de Rosales - the newest addition to St. Agnes, Dr. de Rosales is a psychiatrist recently employed at Prospect Memorial.

Anyone interested in coming to work at the clinic should feel free to page or mail Sterling.

Capricorn Studios

Capricornstudio.jpg

Capricorn Studios has been a fixture in Prospect for over thirty years. It has been the starting place of many local talent stars who went on to terrific careers outside of Prospect. Recently, the owner made the choice to put the studio up for sale due to his own health and the need to retire. Kenna snatched it up, and has since, been learning the ropes and meeting the clients that call Capricorn Studios home.

NPCs in the Barony

  • Liddie is the Nocker who keeps things running in the studio. Officially, she's the sound tech, but is known to have a good ear, and sometimes helps the musicians out a good bit when Kenna's not around.
  • Patrick is the Boggan Kinain assistant, and if not found in the office at the studio, then is probably running around with her.
  • Nico is Troll Kinain and also another fixture around the studios, serving as a bodyguard as needed for either Kenna or clients. He also hangs out within the Glade or training at the Watchtower.
  • Sandra is Boggan Kinain, and the PR girl for the studio, and any client that comes through it's doors.
  • Amber is Spider Pooka who serves as a healer and voile seamstress to Kenna within her Court. When not with Kenna, she can be found at the tiny bookstore that Jean-Paul owns.
  • Jean-Paul is a white-winged sluagh who serves Kenna as a Scout when needed. Otherwise, he can be found in his tiny bookstore.
  • Cullen is Satyr Kinain, and Kenna's cousin. He's an animal trainer and breeder, and serves as the Stablemaster for the recently taken over Steeds Ranch where chimerical mounts can be obtained when available. First dibs go to the duchy's army members.
  • John is Nocker Kinain and handles anything computer related that needs to be done. He oversees the websites for many businesses including the studios, Robyn's and the tavern.
  • Beau is Satyr Kinain and serves in the position of Page in Kenna's court, while lending a hand as musician and singer at studio, and manager at the tavern.
  • Katie is a Boggan blacksmith/crafter that is a bit of a Jane-of-all-Trades. Whatever needs to be made or fixed, she's there to do it.
