Stolen as a cub from a murdered Simba kinfolk, Elsabe was sold to a cult that still worships Sekhemet. They paid well for her, having a nearly snowy coat elevated her in the eyes of the cult. One night, a Follower of Set snuck into their temple and savagely mauled the young lioness, leaving her near death. The intersession of Gaia and the bonding of a spirit saved her life; firmly cementing her in the eyes of the cult as an Avatar of Sekhemet, especially after she turned into a young human woman for the first time in front of them. Her influence has grown, as she embodies aspects of the Goddess that people are in desperate need of; a caring mother figure and authority. Enough so, that her cult has spread all over the globe, setting up stations where she can tend to the poor, and down trodden. She seems to have an especially soft spot for young mothers in need.
