Ethan
Overview
In town as of July 4th, 2017. While originally the Kitchen Manager for the nightclub Rhapsody, he now oversees Steamed And Hammered full time as well, thanks to A Balancing Act, LLC. No real head for business, though. Much more of a hands-on kind of guy. Brief mentioning in the newspaper as a Culinary Management major at UCP: 2017 recipient of the yearly "Andrew Zimmern Second Chances" scholarship, awarded to culinary students looking for higher education to enable turning their lives around.

Not unattractive, at least. 5'11" and wiry but definitely athletic despite what the pale skin would have you believe; auburn hair past his shoulders and amber eyes. His ID will put him over 21 years old, he barely looks it.
RP Hooks
Food: If it's a hangout that serves food and/or booze, he's probably been there already. If it's at all good, he'll certainly go again.
No seriously, I'm having a hard time coming up with Hooks that aren't just about food.Places to Be
- University Of Prospect: Just a Culinary Management major, hurrying to and from classes.
- Twisted Toppings: All college students like pizza, right? Have you SEEN the toppings bar??
- Off The Record: The favored spot for coffee, even if Prospect Roasters is on the edge of UCP.
- Rhapsody: First job was as Kitchen Manager post re-opening, still heavily involved with that kitchen. The club grub IS something else!
- Steamed And Hammered: Currently the General Manager and proud of it, working on making the place popular again. Lives with his girlfriend in the loft apartment upstairs.
- Prospect New Hope MMA: Hits the gym roughly four times a week! Has personally worn through at least one rental of the martial-arts padding that's available; the trainers have started refusing to work with him, citing the place's insurance liability.
- Pendragon's Dance: Swordsmanship lessons. An antiquated skill, but still useful.
- Wafflemania: In short, "All You Care To Eat Pancakes" is hard to find elsewhere in the city. But he tips well.
To Most People
Just a UCP student, stays in the same few city blocks between where he works, where he lives, and where he attends courses. Unremarkable in looks, especially with what appears to be a mouthful of canines; not all of one's teeth are supposed to be that sharp! Another one of those young people that thinks they're all but invincible in their early twenties.
If You're Fae(-ish)...
Ethan is the redcap most recently arrived in the County of Lion's Reach. Initially, he kept his head down while becoming acclimated to the new territory. Apparently, he's also a hunter-tracker known for chimera-taming by virtue of his kith's birthright. However, even while being of Seelie persuasion, he's currently having stirred things up with a recent thumbing of the nose as far as concerns everyone above a Baronial level. The former Barony of the Ebon Watchtower he has since taken over, not by force but by slow progression of having been protecting the area and befriending of all the resident chimera. His current patrol of the Dreaming extends and includes the Rhapsody Freehold, under his watch on behalf of his friend John Balance who owns the mundane club out front. The redcap maintains that the sluagh kinain is in charge and that as far as that freehold is concerned, Ethan is working alongside him. From his previously (and loudly) stated opinions, it would not be wise to call into question the worthiness of kithain-vs-kinain while still in earshot, much less within arm's reach.

Extreme Omnivore By virtue of necessity. Good food is the best (see above) but anything will do.

Black And Gray Morality Makes the above a whole lot easier and lot more realistic, honestly.
Big Little Brother Balance is his closest friend but does serve as the elder brother; this Trope is just one facet of the dichotomy between the two, regardless of their camaraderie. Overall they wind up being very "Red Oni, Blue Oni" in temperament, respectively.
Violently Protective Girlfriend Not that Ethan needs much more in the way of defense, but you've met Chastity, right? Like he's ever going to stop her from doing anything she puts her mind to.
Asskicking Equals Authority Locke, whom he spent about four months solid hearing about the guy in absentia from just about every single other person he was introduced to. And all good things, too! There may be a touch of hero worship going on there, but Ethan takes to heart most everything the guy says. Now that they've actually met, of course.
